great location and accommodation

maybe a bit dusty and cobwebby but otherwise great

We love New Forest area and booked the lodge for early November for long week-end. The location of the lodge was ideal for short drives to local restaurants/pubs to eat and near to tall trees forest trail and other lovely walks in the woods. There was much to see and enjoy the surroundings. The lodge is located by a small lake with a large outside balcony overlooking the lake with birds. The inside living area was spacious overlooking the lake. There was five of us and we all enjoyed out stay very much and would be very happy to return for another break.

Beautiful lodge in a superb location. Clean, spacious & well appointed. Loved everything about our stay. Great communication from hosts & appreciated the little added extras in the lodge.

Absolutely nothing, other than our stay wasn't long enough.

Great location right in the heart of the New Forest, the owners are very nice and helpful people, our stay there was very great, the Lodge was excellent, clean and decorated to a high standard

Would have been a 10 not 9 but was disappointed with broken coffee table so nowhere to put drinks when relaxing and one window blind missing as being repaired.

There was nothing to dislike

1) the host is not a good guy took the depo and his reason was there was damage to various items including the oven gloves and a bathroom bin, both of which we have had to replace. 2) there was also damage to the hob and oven which we are arranging to hopefully fix with the cleaner who is charging extra for this.

Location is fab, right on the lake, so peaceful. Lodge is beautifully done out, very tasteful with fresh, crisp bedding and towels provided. We had a welcome pack of the essentials which was much appreciated. The amenities blend perfectly within the setting being right on the edge of the new forest and the staff were helpful and courteous. Definitely hope to return.
