The hotel was what I wanted and the room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable I would stay again

The location

Shabby little double room. Headboard just placed there.and full of dust. No mattress or pillow protectors on. No plug for the sink. No where to put your bits and bobs in the shower. Nappies,towels.rubbish cigarette ends on a flat roof that our room looked out onto.

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Staff were helpful.

Small room. Poor decor. Dirty. Wobbly chest of drawers. Dirty windows and outside window ledges. Towel holder in bathroom rusty. Cracked tile in bathroom. Bedroom floor sagged in places. Tv reception made watching impossible. Welcome note said bar was open 24hrs but was closed after we returned from night out. Ceiling tiles outdated. Had to give a £20 deposit before being given tv remote. We had to be up for 08:30 for breakfast and checking out time was 10:00

House keeping was terrible this time round we stayed 2 nights and the cleaners never done our room

The rooms were so small When sitting on toilet you hit your elbow on shower door every time. Room with filthy.

Came to stay at the calypso Hotel with my husband and niece for owa anniversary, Everything Was nice and clean was warm friendly and welcoming Heather who was on nightshift is fantastic and such a good laugh, the Indian restaurant thats in with the hotel is absolutely beautiful with nice friendly staff too, would recommend anyone to stay there prices of drinks in the hotel were reasonable too, breakfast was beautiful too 😀 will definitely be going back to stay next time we go to Blackpool.

Nothing to really complain about was value for money.

Breakfast was buffet style and nice although didn't expect to witness 'entertainment' of a huge argument breaking out with other customers who were staying where staff did nothing about it and small children around. Very disappointed.

Cleanliness of room was terrible, have even taken photos. Window ledge not cleaned, stain on towel, skirting very dirty, dirty marks on wall where I had to lie on bed. The complimentary mini shampoo was 5 months out of date. Only one towel each provided. Only one very used, thin pillow provided each. Only one channel on TV with remote, which paid a £20 deposit for. WiFi didn't reach room.

Everything I would rate this a 0 star if it would have let me turned up to check in to find everything locked up and no sign of anyone to ring 3 numbers to contact a member of staff to be told check in is between 3pm and 7pm it was 05:40pm we still had plenty of time to check in which he wouldn't allow us to do and didn't even come speak to us face to face and he eventually put the phone down on me would definitely not recommend this place we had to race about trying to find another hotel for the night as we were due to see a show at 7:30pm
