Enjoyed the house and was just right size for our group of 10 adults and 1 child. Very peaceful but still convenient to activities.

The house satisfied our family for our beach experience with direct access to the beach. It had ample space and a large, open kitchen that was nicely stocked. Access to the house was easy. The grill area was underneath the property near the parking area but did not have adequate lighting which was only an issue at night. Our only negative remark pertains to pricing. It was listed as less than $600.00 “avg”. It ended up costing us over $1,000 per day after all fees were added in. Overall it was a positive vacation experience that we would repeat but ended up costing much more than advertised.

Home plenty large enough. Could use some updating. Dishwasher wasn’t working and with 10 people was a big hassle. Sewage overflow in the driveway was not pleasant either. The back deck with view was awesome.

Need to update furniture and some of the beds.

Our friend group traveled from various parts of the country to celebrate our dear friend's wedding. We were incredibly eager to stay at this property after a meticulous vetting process. Our only focus should have been celebrating our friend and enjoying vacation. As we were having lunch on the day of check in, we received a call from Carolina One. They informed us that the property was no longer available for our group - THE DAY OF. We later discovered, through our own due diligence, that they double booked us with another group who they could squeeze more money out of. Of course, we were the causalities, and were notified only a few HOURS before check in. They pulled the rug on us in the most unprofessional and despicable manner. This directly caused large amount of unnecessary stress. We spent the rest of our first day scrambling (stressfully) to find a new solution. Because it was May in Charleston, there were slim pickings, and nothing to satisfy our original criteria. We paid and planned for a house that was walking distance to downtown Folly, with 5 beds (meant for adults), 5 baths, and direct beach access from our back deck. Instead, we received a house with the following traits: -2.7 miles from downtown, instead of a ten minute walk like we paid and planned for -one of the bedrooms only had bunk beds meant for small children, instead of 5 bedrooms meant for adults, like we paid and planned for -did not have direct beach access, like we paid and planned for -included a condo (for only 3/4 nights?) so that one of us could inconveniently chug 3 miles in the middle of the night to have their own comfortable bedroom -PM threw in golf carts, which defeats the purpose and ability to have a drinks at dinner and walk home, an ability that we planned and paid for. Additionally, golf carts are prohibited in Folly after dark, which put us in a bind every night as Ubers and Lyfts are a scarcity at the moment This was in NO way a "comparable," solution. As previously stated, I have never left a negative review in my 10 years of traveling as an adult. After this last second cancellation by Carolina One, I cannot imagine them denying a refund after the blatant dishonesty and unprofessionalism.

This was our second time renting the house this year and it was wonderful. The rooms and sleeping space is perfect for our family and it’s great to have so many bathrooms. We had Thanksgiving dinner at the big table inside and the teenagers had a table outside - it was perfect! Beautiful weather and special memories.

We had a great experience at The Surely House. Loved having a bathroom with each bedroom and the extra beds in each room were awesome. The view from the main room is fabulous and beach access is perfect. The only negatives we had were the size of the showers upstairs and the furnishings were a bit worn, but they were completely workable. We had a great time and appreciate the support and interactions with property management. Thank you!
