Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge (refuge de faune sauvage) n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied et Maalaea Bay Beaches à 9 minutes, vous pouvez donc laisser votre voiture dans le parking dont dispose l'hébergement.
Regagnez votre petit nid pour les vacances et offrez-vous un moment de bien-être sur une plage, accordez-vous une pause au bord d'une piscine collective, faites-vous plaisir avec un bain à remous où siroter un cocktail en toute tranquillité ou profitez d'un balcon. For our stay in Maui this was the perfect place for us. Travelled with another couple and the condo was perfectly set up for us with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms with plenty of kitchen and living room space. The amenities, although dated, were comfortable. The Lanai overlooks the ocean and pool. The condo is centrally located close to many attractions and activities. Kihei, Lahaina and Kahului are all close and are easy to get too, although traffic can be a bit daunting at times.
However there were some drawbacks, the condo is a bit dated and could use an upgrade. There were a couple of plumbing issues during our stay, however the Vacasa team was quick to respond to our concerns and had the repairs done quickly, without any interruption to our trip.
Would definitely stay here again

The property itself was in a great location. No problems getting in and for the most part it was clean. However, I was disappointed because we found some boobie stickers on the wall in the bathroom from the previous guests, the vent was disgusting, months of build up, and when we hung up our towels on the shower curtain pole it was really dusty and it too was months worth of dust. All these things were really gross and required me to clean them.

The condo has a great view from the huge lanai. Two separate bedrooms are comfortable and perfect for two couples or families. The AC works great inside! The beach right downstairs is great

What a great place! Loved the 2br/2ba. The view was incredible. The double lanai was so great. Kitchen was super well stocked. I would recommend arriving and checking out what they have before you do your grocery shop. There were some spices there already. It didn’t have filtered water or ice maker - but does have ice trays. Beds were comfy. Doors to bedrooms and secondary door to bathroom and another to toilet. Tons of opportunities for
Privacy for two couples or older kids. Beach and pool are beautiful. Loved it and would recommend.

Sugar Beach Resort unit 511 is a lovely unit. It is wonderfully situated on the property with both a view of the pool, the beach and the ocean. It really is lovely, the furniture was okay but comfortable. SBR itself is a bit tired, very outdated but has what you need. There is a simple pool area with views of the ocean, pretty gardens and a grill area where folks congregate in the evenings sharing stories of the day. It is a great value for Maui as it is all beachfront and the beach area is lovely.
There are not walkable food places in this area so you will end up driving to town for everything. The flipside of that is that sugar beach is definitely away from the crowds which is nice.
The property itself is not a kid friendly property. It really is more for older visitors in that regard. You cannot have playtoys in the pool or even toss a ball in the pool nor on the grass area which is just begging for it. Simple game of catch and my son was told that wasn't allowed. So there is a tone to this property that I haven't experienced in other places we have stayed in Maui (and we come here frequently).
For the value this is a great option, just has some elements there that made it kind of a boring place to stay for the kids. I recommend it but feel it is important for families to be aware since you cannot read much about the vibe of the property.

Condo could use a little updating. I am thinking at least one bathroom should have a walk-in shower for us old people with some concerns for stepping in and out of bathtubs. LR furniture could benefit form upgrade.

This was a great unit for our family to spend a week together. Communication and check in n and out was a breeze. It couldn’t have been any easier.The condo itself was nicely laid out. It could use some updated living room furniture, and the washer and dryer are pretty small and older. The views were spectacular the kitchen functioned well and we had a great time. Thank you!

The 4 of us were very impressed with this unit❤️. It had all the appliances and kitchen supplies that we needed. The toilet shower rooms were not terrible but could use updating. The wall separating the 2 bedrooms provides needed privacy.

Perfect place for two couples with two separate bathrooms. Lots of room to hang out. We had 2 twin infants with us, so we spent more time in the unit than we probably would have. Great beach for walking, running. Loved the view, the lanai. We saw outriggers going by each day! We used the AC every day. A little tricky to figure out with the 2 competing AC units. A couple of the living chairs were very uncomfortable. One seemed broken. Liked the pool. A bit cold. Great hot tub!

When we first walked in, there was an empty candy wrapper on the living room floor. The bathroom floor still had dirt and hairs on it from previous people. The TV quit working. The next day they brought in a loaner. It was small and hard to see. The electricity went out, twice, one day for an extended amount of time. The unit has plenty of room to spread out, just needs updating and could be cleaner.

Kitchen had everything you would need. There is only one small TV in the front room. Beds are not that comfortable. Place was clean ! We had 4 teenagers and plenty of space to have your own space.

We had a great stay at this unit. We loved the double lanai, and the view from the living room window. The unit was very spacious for our family, and the pool and hot tub were great to relax in at the end of the day. It was a bit windy in the afternoons and evenings when we were here in June. The location is a great in-between for access to Kehei and Lahaina.

With such a nice view and lots of space in the condo, i don't really understand why the owners don't remodel. This place could be a gem if bathrooms, flooring, and furniture were updated. The bathrooms require the most attention.

We had a wonderful stay at 511. The views were stunning, the balcony is south facing and hot! I'm sure some people love the heat but it was a bit intense for us to sit out there, lovely in the evening. Sugar beach resort is located close to everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked for the week we were there. The bathrooms are outdated and the shower curtain was moldy and flimsy so difficult to keep the water from escaping so I would advise putting a towel on the floor. The vents were also covered in dust in the bathroom and on the AC unit (we vaccumed the AC unit ones). Besides that everything was clean and comfortable for us. The owners had boogie boards and sand toys which was so nice for the kids and left a lovely welcome gift with treats from Hawaii. Of note, you cannot have anyone in the unit (even if they are not sleeping over) not registered which was disappointing because we couldn't visit with our family in the unit we rented but they could in theirs so while they hosted family dinners each night we were unable to. Also asked to use only the detergent provided for laundry but provided only a few packs of detergent and it was written that we were responsible for any other supplies needed. The last day we were asked to start the first load of laundry which we did. We would absolutely stay again.

AC was cold and easy to control. The grounds are beautiful and the condo was huge and clean. Absolutely beautiful view from the two lanais. This property is in the middle of everything (airport, costcos, stores etc.). Great location. I would highly recommend this condo. It made our vacation very enjoyable.

This condo comfortably accommodated our family of 6. The condo was very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. The views of the pool, ocean and beach were fantastic.
Sugar Beach Resort was the perfect location for us as it provided easy access to other parts of the island. The pool and gathering area were used extensively by our family throughout our trip. Friendly and helpful staff in the Office and Activity Center. We wish we were still there. Mahalo

We really enjoyed our stay at 511. This is our 14th time at Sugar Beach and never had a bad condo. Only negative thing is the bathroom could use an update otherwise the condo was great
