Location was excellent, close to restaurants and cafes.

Hotel located in very convenient location. We have stayed before but this time had a smaller room which was no problem.
We didn't realise when booking that there were no opening windows in this room and no fresh air. We prefer fresh air to air conditioning.

A gem of a place to stay right in the Main Street although no noise at all.Tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Also appreciated the secure car parking facility. Would definitely stay here again.The buffet breakfast was terrific and well worth the $20.

Excellent location & a modern clean room. Had all the little extras that are good after a full day of country driving like complimentary bottled water, complimentary toiletries, clean sheets/pillows with comfortable mattress. Modern bathroom with relaxing shower, excellent large TV and powerful cold air conditioning. Quiet room with no noise from adjoining rooms

Great location and good facilities
We stayed Friday and Saturday nights and Saturday night we couldn’t sleep because of the nightclub. Way too noisy which made our trip home long and difficult.
Will think again if to stay there next time we are in town.

The room was the best example of an accessible room we have ever stayed in. The bathroom and living area was exceptional.
Limited parking options but we were not impacted upon by that.

Compact, clean and warm. The complimentary bottles of water were appreciated. The buffet breakfast was worth the extra charge - just make sure you get in early!
The glass door bar fridge looks much better than it sounds...

No FOXTEL available, no room service for dinner or breakfast. No Wifi available in my room, had to use mobile hotspot, room was cramped an too claustrophobic and for the price. One man complained of no hot water in his room.

Such big spacious rooms, excellent value for money. Very clean and well maintained with very comfortable beds. Definitely the place to stay!

This turned out to be a little gem. We were very surprised at the Gem Hotel when we arrived with all the new renovations and the cocktail bar, we could have been in a capital city this place was excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked, so the food must be good.
We did feel the rooms were on the small side. It would be a bit claustrophobic if we had to stay more than a night or two.

The rooms were lovely, and the hotel was central to my work needs. We ate at the Bull and Bar so it was very convenient. The makeup wipes were a nice bonus as I had forgotten mine and the pillows were plentiful and comfy. The room was functional to use as a workspace and was comfortable to relax in.
My shower had hair on the walls from check-in and when I used the shower the drain only caught 80% of the water leaving me to mop up the rest with towels.
