We rented all three apartments for a little over a week to celebrate a big birthday, and it was perfect. People came and went and it wasn't a problem, we had 16 people at one point and there were enough beds and bathroom space to make it work well. The two apartments on the upper floor connect to make one very large one. The owners live on the property and were very respectful and accommodating, and gave us plenty of space to do our own thing. Mellieha is also a nice place to stay, as it's away from the sprawl around Valletta and still easy to get anywhere in a taxi or rental car without trouble.

We stayed as a large family group in the whole villa for a week in February. The villa is very well looked after and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Margaret had provided a few essentials like bread and milk so we didn't need to rush out to the shops straight away. The villa is within easy walking distance of several good restaurants and a couple of bars. There is a decent sized supermarket a 10 minute walk away that has everything you could need. With it being February we didn't get much use out of the pool but it is nice and would be great in summer. The walk down to the sea is a bit longer, but doable, possibly not something you'd want to do every day. There were a couple of minor issues while we were there but they were sorted out very quickly by Margaret with no fuss. I can highly recommend this villa as a great place to stay.

The two 3-bedroom apartments (with a connecting door) are a great location for a 6-couple get together. Very well located for the supermarket, public transport and both upper and lower Mellieha (and with bus connections to Bugibba, St Julians and Valletta). Although built some time ago, the apartments are well appointed and spacious with a large wrap-around balcony (though a dishwasher would be a useful addition). Margaret is a very helpful and personable hostess.. We all enjoyed the week immensely. Highly recommended.

What can I say about this amazing property, everything you need updated and a great place for the whole family to come for a great holiday. The owners are great people and their hospitality is amazing , if your looking for a fun filled holiday in Malta this villa is the place to come.

I booked this villa for my 50th birthday, so that I could celebrate with my family. We booked the 3 units, as there were 9 adults and 3 children, for 1 week. We were overwhelmed at how beautiful and well maintained this property is. It’s stunning!!! Each unit is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Everything you need is there, it’s like home from home. The kids loved the pool, and spent the majority of the time in there. The property is set high on a hill, so the views are breathtaking, and it gets the sun all day! It’s situated very close to shops and pubs, etc, and also close to a main bus route, so you can jump on the bus to go anywhere on the island, which we did. Margaret, the owner, is a very hospitable lady, and her and her husband live on site, so are there for any problems or issues that may arise. They are very helpful and go above and beyond for their guests. I can not recommend this property highly enough, it is simply stunning! I would definitely book and stay here again. We went to Melleiha just after Easter with both our families. The apartments are very well appointed and Margaret made us very welcome. The children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and we had a lovely time . Thank you Margaret.

With a very helpful hostess this is a property we'd be happy to return to. Well appointed, clean and spacious for 3 couples we had good views of the quiet neighbourhood and a partial view of the sea. Within 5 minutes walking were a choice of independent bakers, grocers and good restaurants as well as a new small supermarket. It is sited at the top of a hill and would be a long walk uphill back from the beach but there is a local bus. There was a parking bay per villa with additional on road parking available. If needed there was a useful connecting door to the adjacent villa. It was too cold in March to use the pool but it was clean and had plenty of outdoor seating. Thank you for a lovely break.

' luxury villa' is an understatement for this place. The villa itself was more than what we expected. everything was as listed and then some. Location was perfect for what we wanted, Super market a close walk away which provided everything you could need. Each room had their own En suite, comfy beds, blackout blinds. Kitchens had everything you'd expect to have. Location wise, there was a bar & restaurant just around the corner which sold great British food and showed British TV. If i ever return back to Malta, no doubt i will be staying in this villa again. Margaret the owner is so friendly and kind, she helped us out with everything we needed. The only trouble i had all week was getting hold of a taxi number, I asked margaret, and within 2 minutes she had giuven me mulitple numbers and even offered to book us cabs for the whole week!

This villa was just as expected from the listing. It was spacious for six adults, clean and well maintained, inside and out. The owner provided helpful information about restaurants and took care of any needs we had. We enjoyed our pizza at the Graystone restaurant and we loved the Barracuda. I definitely would recommend this villa with its spectacular view.

We had a wonderful stay at Margaret's villa. It was really clean and had all the equipment you could imagine.It had a good location. The pool, with a lot of inflatable toys for the children, was definitely a plus. Margaret was a wonderful host and was always available. Thank you for everything.

Spacious villa with beautilful views and logs of terrasses and nice swimmingpool wich we were able to use all over the day, every day because of the subtropical weather. Nicest thing was we had the whole villa for our family so all the privacy we wanted

We loved Villa Margherita and Margaret couldn't have been more helpful. The weather wasn't kind but the welcome was warm and our very mixed group all had a wonderful time. The apartments are amazing and are finished to a very high standard. We would love to go back when the weather is warmer and we can take advantage of the lovely pool.

My husband and I stayed here for a week in June for our wedding with both of our families. We were a group of 14 and all 3 apartments were so spacious that you would definitely sleep 16 people comfortably as advertised. The villa was really safe for children too. My niece and nephew are 2 and 3 years old and stayed in one of the upstairs apartments, which had a balcony the whole way around with gates on either end, so they couldn't get down the steps to the pool or the road unaccompanied. Each apartment was spotless as was the pool and surrounding area. Location was really good too, just a 5 minute walk to the nearest local bar, shops & bus stops As for Margaret, she was absolutely wonderful! There if you needed her, but in no way intrusive. As I was planning my wedding in Malta from Ireland, I had many questions and queries about local suppliers etc and poor Margaret got numerous emails from me, and always got back to me! Also, there was a welcome pack in each apartment as we had a late arrival and with young children, so the basics were all provided, especially the Cisk beer :) As for the decor, it was really gorgeous. Margaret you may have missed your calling as an interior designer! So tasteful but also functional and comfortable. And the space! Even the pool area was spacious. Unfortunately we didn't get around to using the BBQ though. It took a lot of planning to get everybody on holiday together, both sets of parents, mine & Jason's sisters & brothers, and the little kids too, but when we arrived, it was really worth it. Everybody is talking about going back again! Sorry it took so long to post this review! Thank you again Margaret, for everything x

We enjoyed a week at Villa Margherita, very pleasant, excellent facilities in the villa, 2 bath rooms, kitchen facilities include a big freezer, microwave, toaster and a real oven (great to have warm bread in the morning), nice sitting on the terrace and a great swimming pool outside. Supermarket and restaurants within reach (4 min. walk). Peaceful, great view and nicely located in Mellieha in the north of Malta, less than 15 min. from the ferrie to Gozo (a must see island, less crowded than Malta). Our hostess Margaret and her husband are very kind people. The villa is very clean, Wifi available and well maintained. To be recommended!

The property is beautiful, Margaret and Joe are lovely people they make you feel welcome, you feel safe and the surroundings are very child friendly. we have stayed here many times and over the years introduced most of our family, who have also fallen in love with Malta. This property is in a quiet area so if you want to relax and chill have a lovely barbeque which is built on the premises lay round the pool this is the place to be. We recommend this property to all our friends nearby there are some nice eating areas reflections bar is very child friendly with a pool table to occupy everyone adults and children. If anyone does come a must is go to the site seeing area at the back of the church down the old town it is the most beautiful sea view that anyone will ever see, and the traditional Maltese tuna sandwiches are to die for and so cheap. A car or bus is necessary to get to the beach but very easy to get to wouldn't recommend that you walk unless you are superfit.
