We absolutely adored our stay with at the Patriot House. We were able to bring our cats with. The house was beautiful and had every amenity we could need. Susan did a great job communicating about the town water leak so we could plan each day. I read other reviews and have to say Susan is a great host that cares about the people that visit. The deer in the backyard and her lovely kitty were enjoyed daily. The house was immaculate and made us feel at home. We’re so grateful to have been able to stay here. It was a wonderful vacation that we truly enjoyed. Thank you Susan for sharing your home with us. We hope to return again.

The house was in a great location, only 10-15 minutes from popular places in Branson. Upon arrival at 3:25, the owner/manager was still cleaning the house. We drove around and came back a few minutes later and she was still there. She gave us a tour of the place and left. The house was beautiful but it needed dusting and vacuuming.

This property was close to the event where the wedding was being held. The home was beautifully decorated and spotless. We were able to have the dogs at this location and the dogs were in the wedding, so this was VERY important to the bride and groom. Enjoyed feeding the deer that came up with a few feet of us and were able to take pictures of them in the yard. Just one level, so my elderly parents were able to get around easily. Everything you would need is right here. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood also. Hostess was friendly, informative and so helpful. Thank you - we had a beautiful wedding and wonderful time!

We couldn't of ask for a better first time VRBO experience. The house and property are as described and just beautiful! The deer in the backyard daily wad icing on the cake! Susan has set the bar high. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time during our stay. We were in town for a wedding and got to enjoy being together with family while we were there. The deer are plentiful in the area and we enjoyed feeding them in the mornings. Susan was great and enjoyed getting to know her a little too.

This beautiful home was the perfect location for our family to stay for our daughter’s wedding at The Atrium which is only 10 minutes away. The jetted bathtub was a wonderful amenity after a long day. We also loved seeing the deer in the neighborhood. Our host was very gracious!

We were greeted by the owner at the residence. She was very flexible with the time of our arrival. We were shown all the rooms and amenities and how everything works. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and fresh. The home is Beautifully and tastefully decorated with great detail. It has everything you need for a wonderful and comfortable stay. It was exactly as described in the app. The neighborhood is in a quiet area and the homes are all well kept. The GPS took us right to the home. The deer that come in the morning and at dusk are a wonderful treat and she provided corn to feed them. There were 12 deer all together. Our check out was easy as well. We didn’t encounter any issues in fact we didn’t want to leave. We hope to visit again. We highly recommend this property. I’m know anyone will love it as much as we did. Thank you for a wonderful hospitable stay.

Enjoyable, close to the attractions we wished to visit.

Great house with everything you could need! It’s about a 20-30 minute drive into Branson or the surrounding areas but it’s definitely a beautiful scenic drive. The whole family enjoyed interacting with and watching the deer, but their presence and bowel habits really impacted any plans we had of using the backyard. Tried to play with the cornhole set we brought and literally had deer poop bouncing off the grass. Overall a great stay and trip! Thanks Susan!

Love the Patriot House

Nothing wrong with the house, its on the newer side. As others have commented about the cleaning fee, the cleanliness is a bit lacking. Dust everywhere, filthy splash guard in the kitchen sink, etc. The bed in master bedroom is broken down on the right side which pops the left side up and very uncomfortable. The deer get fed so they come each morning and evening. Cool to see. We booked the property in January as we planned to come for our daughter's wedding in June. We saw great reviews. We have since returned home and.. looked at reviews after we booked...we read what we wish we had known before. KNOW that the property owner stays on the property while you are there. In a camper that sits about a foot from the side of the house. KNOW that she will come into the back yard while you are outside to sit on the picnic table with her dog..... yes, uninvited. VRBO says this is CREEPY and we couldnt agree more. She was there to personally check us in. Others have mentioned this. She was waiting for laundry to get done from guests that had checked out that morning. It was awkward. I've never left a review. We've booked a lot of properties through the years with VRBO and i cannot, with a clear conscience, not warn people about something that I wish I had been. I wouldve overlooked the dust. We were focused on our joy for the wedding. We did not feel like we had privacy as we never knew if she would pop up. Would she enter the house? Be warned.

The property itself was nice. The location is good if you plan to stay out all day. We did not as we stayed with 2 pets and wanted to check on them. Susan is onsite, so she is available if there are any problems. The road to the house is hilly and windy. There are lots of deer.

Really pleased with the property. Will definitely be staying at the same location next time i’m in the area.

We were on a girls trip and this place was a perfect place for us. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, and we enjoyed feeding the deer and watching the birds. The beds were extremely comfy, and the house was overall very clean. This is a perfect spot for couples to get away together or even a small family. Thank you Susan for everything!

The house is lovely and in a quiet neighborhood. I stayed there by myself but Susan allowed me to host my family for my great nieces 1st birthday. There were adults and 4 little there each day. The house and location were perfect. Nice big kitchen was my favorite since I hosted and prepped meals. The deer in the yard were fun and the kids enjoyed them as much as the adults. Great property!

Very beautiful house and decorated very nice. We enjoyed seeing the deer come up In the yard and eating corn. We also liked where the house was. Just a short ride into Branson but loved the quite neighborhood. We will go again!

Susan had everything ready for our arrival. She was a great hostess. The home is just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet and close enough that you can get to pretty much anything within 30 minutes. Most were 15 - 20 minutes away. The deer showed up in the back yard as advertised. Nice home layout. Spacious enough for everyone to have their space. Thanks Susan!

We were only in the home for a short stay. It was nice to have a nice master bedroom at each end of the house. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck. We had our little dog along, there was a board that we were able to put across the stairway off the deck, so he was able to be outside with us. Huge Tv's in the common area and in the bedrooms. The teenager with us liked being able to go to the bedroom and watch what he wanted to watch. Easy drive into Branson, if you wanted to do activities there. Would stay again if in the area.

Everything was perfect. We felt right at home. Relaxing was easy! Close to Branson, there is local places that are wonderful to eat at. Susan is in a camper on the property, we never knew she was there. Susans has done a wonderful job creating a comfortable, beautiful and accommodating escape! The deer stole my heart.

Great place. Clean and comfortable with all the conveniences

I gave a lot of thought about posting a review. In fact I am posting the review several months after our stay. I don't like knocking people but I felt that this was necessary. When we arrived the owner was asleep on the couch. we had to wait 15-20 minutes for her to get things out of the dyer and clear her things out before we felt that we could come in. So, once we got settled in the place was not very clean. Which was interesting knowing that we pay a large cleaning fee. we brought our pets thinking their was a fence which was listed. Their was not. we never would've picked a place without a fence with our dogs. She stated before we arrived that she offered a military discount which we did not get credited for. overall just not what we expected and we never expected the owner to be asleep in the place when we arrived.

Just a few miles from all the shopping and attractions, but away from the noise. This home had every amenity we needed and lots of bonuses we weren’t expecting! The home is filled with unique decor from all over and we enjoyed the deer coming to visit at least twice per day!

The host, while nice, was in the home reclining on the sofa watching television when we arrived. She had laundry going, and made several trips back and forth between the house and her camper that was a foot outside the house, to get all of her belongings. We received a very detailed and thorough walk through. We were expected to do a thorough walkthrough the morning we were checking out as well, but we had to leave very early. The bathroom and kitchen were not clean and there was food in the refrigerator that we were told we could use…which just felt weird. This honestly felt like we were kicking someone out of their home and living in it while they stayed outside in a camper ( which I think is what it was) instead of being on a mini vacation. I really don’t like to leave negative reviews, and I know by other reviews, this didn’t seem to bother some. If you’re someone who’s looking for something private and more like the VRBO commercial that really promotes privacy, this might not be for you. It’s also a bit of a drive to downtown Branson, but the deer in the yard is very cool.

We had the pleasure of meeting susan and staying at her property. the place was very clean and as promised, no surprises. we stayed for a month and had a very nice relaxing time. we want to thank susan for having us. terry and karen geurts

We loved our stay! The house was roomy and had everything we needed and is located in a lovely neighborhood only 20 min from Branson. The deer in the backyard are so cute and we really enjoyed watching them! Susan is a very gracious and helpful hostess. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. Our host was very nice and was right outside in her RV if we needed anything. The deer was beautiful to watch and they loved to eat her corn. It's a great place to visit with friends or family.

This house was amazing and Susan, the host, was absolutely wonderful. The house is top of the line everything. The house was stocked with most anything you could need. And the deer came every morning at precisely 08:00. Beautiful sight to see. Although you are a bit outside of the "strip", you are still only 10-15 minutes away. If you are looking for a relaxing environment away from the noise and traffic, this is where you want to stay. We are already making plans for our next visit to Branson and this beautiful home.

My husband, mom, our little beagle Brenlie and myself had an absolute wonderful stay. Susan is an excellent host and we would definitely stay here again. The house and location was exactly what we were looking for. Watching and feeding the deer was a bonus.
