Great location and property especially if staying with family and you plan to visit Hershey Park!

The property was nice for the area. We’ve been going to Hershey park for years and there is not much between 2 star hotels and hotel Hershey (which is very nice, but also criminally overpriced) This property was clean, the rooms large and comfortable and the location is good/close to the park. The outdoor pool is also nice and not found in a lot of properties in the area. The staff on site were friendly and helpful. My issue is with this management company (resort rental pros). I booked the rental a few weeks before my stay. Less than 12 hours afterwards, I realized that I had booked the wrong date (I had booked Friday to Sunday and didn’t realize we were meeting friends Saturday to Monday). I contacted the management company and got a generic response that it was within the vrbo window where changes were not refundable. I asked for them to check with the owner if a change could be made for an admin fee if the dates were available. I again got the same generic response. I completely understand if the dates were not available, but they refused even to check whether the dates were open. Even after elevating the complaint through vrbo, they refused to forward the request to the owner. I should have looked up their rating last on BBB prior to booking as they clearly have a history of terrible service. I would happily rent another unit in this resort in the future, but will certainly make sure never to book any property that uses resort rental pros again.

The elevator was down for few hours which is very inconvenient for our parents and kids. Loc is good close to everywhere
