«Sunset on the Rox» a été totalement transformé à partir de 2019! Les trois salles de bains ont été rénovées et sont toutes neuves!
Sentez-vous à la maison sur vos vacances à la plage! Pouvant accueillir jusqu'à huit personnes, cette villa de trois chambres et trois salles de bain comprend un nouveau canapé-lit tempurpedic. En plus des améliorations apportées à la salle de bain cet hiver, la cuisine a également été rénovée et dispose d'appareils tout neufs en acier inoxydable.
Cette villa a un emplacement imbattable. Situé à l'extrémité ouest du bâtiment, «Sunset on the Rox» offre une vue directe sur l'oc��an, complétée par l'extrémité non aménagée de la plage de Folly. Assurez-vous de regarder les magnifiques couchers de soleil depuis le balcon en bord de mer. Ce sont vraiment parmi les plus impressionnants de la côte est. Our youngest daughter just graduated from college and to celebrate we booked a trip o folly beach. The condo was great. Six adults had more than enough space to be comfortable. The location was ideal, right on the beach with easy access to all activities down town. We also went into Charleston twice and it is an easy ride to and from. We had a great time and would definitely go back

Very comfortable and clean! The kitchen is well supplied for preparing any type of meal. The beds were very comfortable and the lanai area was great for enjoying good conversations and the beach views. We had a great week!

Glad we were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with our son...who is serving in the Navy close by. This condo was in the perfect location, on the beach and walking to town with welcoming shops and restaurants. There was plenty of space for us and a new kitchen, which made cooking very easy. Can't wait to return!

Our condo was clean and nicely furnished. Thoroughly enjoyed the large balcony with plenty of seating/table and excellent beachfront views. Short walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. There is only one fob to access beach and parking lot. We were a party of four and could not freely come and go.

Nice Place, Great Location
Nice getaway with friends. Traveling with 2 other couples. Condo was spacious and we did not feel cramped with 6 adults. Plus everyone had their own bathroom. Excellent location, walkable to all shopping, restaurants, bars in Folly. Only negative, was 1 elevator for the condos… and it got a little busy with everyone checking out at the same time. Luckily this unit was on the first floor with easy access to the stairs.

The condo was in a great location on Folly Beach, close to the main drag with the shops/restaurants. It was also a great location within the building - easy to access on the 1st floor. Condo was well-appointed and people within our group commented about the quality of the furnishings. No issues to report over the course of our stay and we would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

Amazing place and location
After living in the Charleston area years ago I never went to Folly Beach. We decided to come here for Christmas and so glad we did. The condo was amazing and only steps from the beach. The condo had everything we needed and more. Will definitely come again.

We love Folly Beach!
Second year on James Island for a soccer tournament. Our Villa was excellent, clean and well equipped. Very comfortable. We had a problem logging on to the internet with the provided password. We just used our phones as hot spots.

Nice condo poor management
The location was great, the condo was nice. The only bad was caring around key fobs in order to park, go to beach, or get in pool. Ac would not go below 71 without a special code. Each tv had four remotes. The first date getting ahold of property management was good but as the days went on, I had to leave messages with no return call or was told to go to supply closet between to rooms and none there. Dunes would text me about my stay or when I was checking out but never once responded to my text to them. Parking passes expired on Saturday even though we stayed till Monday but know one could help with these until Sunday.

The property was great and very convenient. No real pantry/cabinet available for food. It made it hard to cook with grocery items all over the counters .

Comfortable stay although one bedroom was changes form twin beds to a queen.
Property group needs to communicate with pool service that the pool tiles are very dirty with black scum almost covering the blue tiles. Pool water was clean and clear.

Great week relaxing at "Sunset on the Rox"
The condo was a great fit for our family of 7. It has an amazing location in the complex at the south end with easy access to the beach entry gate and overlooks the pool. Beautiful ocean view with lots of seating on the patio. Based on how the condo is positioned you can not see the pier or the sunrises from the patio and have to physically go out onto the beach to see both, but well worth the early morning walks to catch the sunrises (gorgeous). The condo has all of the amenities. Bathrooms and kitchen are all newly redone and very clean. The kitchen has everything you could ever need. Appliances are all very new and well kept. The kitchen actually has too many things (cabinets could use a good purge and organization). There is little room in the cabinets or drawers for pantry items if you go grocery shopping. Outside of that the place was perfect with great drawer and closet space in each of the bedrooms.
Lots of great restaurants in walking distance (Rita's, Loggerhead's, Snapper Jack's, Washout, Woody's Pizza). We parked our cars when we arrived on Saturday and didn't need to drive anywhere again until we left the following Saturday. There are grocery/shopping carts in the complex garage that make unloading and loading up your car very easy.
We used Harris Teeter grocery delivery and the service was amazing so didn't even need to go to a grocery store. You can select your delivery date/time 7 days in advance and time slots go fast.
Great experience and great location for our first trip to Folly.

My husband & I really enjoyed our trip to Folly beach & staying here in this lovely condo. We loved sitting on the balcony with our coffee in the morning & our wine at night - beautiful views & sunsets ! We had everything we needed & all was very clean . A wonderful, fun & relaxing stay .

The complex is right on the beach and our unit 123 was right above the pool. Convenient steps to garage/pool/beach access was steps from our door, and the elevator very close also. The grocery carts provided were helpful with transporting luggage, groceries, beach gear or whatever! The unit was clean. Lots of bath towels provided, bar soap in each bathroom (large enough to last all week). Also provided toilet paper rolls, a roll of paper towels, a couple single laundry packets, small dishwash soap (again, more than enough for the week) hair dryers in each bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, glasses, etc. Almost too much (probably 50 random plates and 25 mugs) :-) Kitchen appliances are fairly new and clean. No spices or anything like that for cooking - you'll need to purchase your own. Tons of DVD movies and books and magazines - all very dated. Really no need for them, it almost seemed like clutter. The town of Folly Beach was fun - but as the weekend approached it was full of bacholor/bachelorette parties and intoxicated people. Didn't enjoy that so much. The nightime music from Loggerhead's could be heard in our unit, but they always quit by 11 p.m. or so. Our beach gear from VayK Gear wasn't at our unit upon arrival, and we didn't get it until the next afternoon. Apparently it was left in a "undisclosed location" that dispite the picture they sent us with our order, even their staff couldn't locate it! Our replacement equipment arrived later the next afternoon. That was frustrating, but had nothing to do with the complex/unit. Baby's Away rental did a great job. The crib/high chair, stroller, etc. were in the unit upon arrival. Overall - a great experience!

Great location, beautiful unit, and well outfitted
Pros
Location. You can easily walk right to the main street with shops and restaurants that are open year round. Short drive to Charleston. We brought bikes and explored the island. Easy biking to tennis and basketball courts.
Outfitting. The best appointed kitchen I've ever seen. They had everything we needed and then some, every tool and gadget, and even including new kitchen sponge, dishsoap, and dish towel. Dishwasher pods too. Also books, puzzles, movies, games, Frisbees, wireless, etc.
Open concept. Great for family groups and the kitchen has views of the ocean.
Beach view. This unit is not parallel to the ocean, instead around a corner, so the beach view is not 180 degrees. However, the view is wide and looks southwest, with beautiful views, including the sunset. Lovely.
Lovely unit. Surfaces and furnishings are clean and new.
Stairs access. Very handy to the unit. The elevator is also not far.
Carts. We didn't find the grocery carts until leaving, but carts to help you move your stuff are in the parking area.
State of repair. No problems anywhere, except as noted below. Seemed like a new unit.
Bike racks convenient to stairs.
Linens. Sufficient, nice towels. Sheets and beds were comfortable.
Folly Island. Beautiful island that was less like a rental area than many. So many beaches are lined with hotels, condos, and huge rental houses. This seemed like less of a rental area and more like where people live year round.
Cons
Stove. The stove and the big burner were non functional. They provided two counter top convection ovens, but they did not fit big pans. We were baffled that they had not just replaced the broken oven instead of buying two countertop models. We were able to adjust our cooking to match.
Pool / beach gates. The unit is right next to both gates that bang shut loudly. During busy season could be particularly annoying.
Toiletries. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Soap was provided.
This was the best VRBO or rental house we've been in. Great walkable location, beautiful finishes, well appointed. Would definitely consider returning!

Great condo but thermostat has a mind of it’s own!
Overall the condo was very nice and well equipped. Location is perfect and very private being an end unit. Floors and under beds were not cleaned well, so that definitely needs improvement. The only major issue we had is the thermostat would not stay at our desired setting and seemed to be controlled by someone else through the Nest app. The setting would go from 68 to 74 and then to 80 without us knowing unless we constantly checked and adjusted. It would take hours to cool down after we came back to the condo from the beach. . That made it uncomfortable with 100 degree weather outside. If they let you have control of the thermostat, we would have no complaints.
