The rooms were big and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable too. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was good (it got cold enough when it was really hot out and it had good pressure). A/C is a must in the summer. The property is beautiful and it would be a good place for a (quiet) group to stay in

- Breakfast was disappointing, It consisted of good fruit, coffee, sliced cheese (not the good stuff) and packaged bread/pastries. In Italy, you expect fresh food, especially bread and pastries as well as good cheese - not what you can go buy at the supermarket from a package, served many days in a row. Breakfast hours were also very short. I did not bother with breakfast my last 2 mornings - Location is hard to get to and there's not much to eat nearby- this place is near Cefalu, but not in Cefalu. only stay here if you plan to rent a car or a scooter (but note, it's hard to park a car in the main part Cefalu). Otherwise it's a 40 minute walk to Cefalu proper. - The house has no sound insulation, rugs or wood floors - any door opening or closing or people talking would reverberate loudly in the entire building (including when the people that serve breakfast came in early in the morning) - I only slept well when I had 2 ear plugs in after a couple of bad nights. - The staff just did the minimum- I asked for help getting a taxi for my departure and they handed me a couple of cards with numbers for taxi companies. I asked where I could rent a bike and they pointed me to a location that was closed. They are also not there in the evenings and did not provide me any contact info, so if I got locked out at night, I was on my own

Very good service, the receptionist is very friendly, the environment is good, and the facilities are very new. When we wanted a sea view, I changed rooms and added an upgrade fee of 15 euros.

The address is difficult to find. It's not convenient if you don't drive. The upgrade room fee has not been notified in advance.

Great location just out of town. Breakfast was excellent with wonderful views from the terrace. Staff were extremely helpful. Definitely recommend this hotl

Everything was perfect

Panoramic location with nice sea views and the wide green space around the villa's grounds. Comfy bed and modern bathroom. Quiet room (in low season). Very good quality and varied sweet items for breakfast.

Some pieces of room furniture look a bit cheap (bedside lamp) and with a dated stye (curtains and bed cover) and linen could do with an upgrade (polyester blanket). No savoury items for breakfast.

The breakfast was just a typical Italian spread I didn’t think it was very good though not super high quality it’s a clean place

It’s a really weird place there’s absolutely no one there I accidentally booked a room on the first floor where there was no view so I asked to stay on the second floor but they wouldn’t let me because they said the rooms were booked except the hotel was completely empty one night it was only us if you stay on the floor first floor there’s no view Also it’s just creepy feeling it’s extremely clean and sterile which is nice but there’s no one there and they have only one person taking care of everything and he doesn’t seem to have any authority because most hotels would’ve let me move up to the second floor also I thought I was off the beaten path which I like but what I didn’t realize is the charming old city is down the road and when I am traveling I like to Stay In the historical parts of town we had to drive there and it’s always hard to find parking

Genuine and beautiful italian house with an excellent view. We arrived late and we received a very friendly welcome from the owner. Extra plus for the service! Great value for money, big room and stylish bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was perfect! Secure parking within gated property. Beautiful surroundings with fantastic trees.

The host of the villa is really nice, help us get familiar to the city and show us around, always keep the villa nice and neat, feel very relaxed when sit in the yard and enjoy the sea view right in front of the villa.

The view was breathless and villa just 5 mins drive away from the city centre. Easy to park in a secured private parking.

I like my mattress on the softer side and this mattress was quite hard. It is a personal preference thing.

The perfect place to watch the sunset. Beautiful villa with views over the sea and the city of Cefalu. Gandolfo was an amazing host, the breakfast was varied and delicious, the rooms very clean and comfortable. There is a 20-25 min stroll on the coast to Cefalu, great exercise after the amazing Sicilian food. There are two nice restaurants within walking distance.
