Brilliant view of the sea front.
Great location.
Friendly staff.
Easy to get to and within easy reach of shops etc.
Had full English breakfast, very disappointing, bacon over cooked, sausage tasteless. Fried egg over cooked.
Bed uncomfortable.
Curtains need changing, light coming through.
Room looking very tiered.
Wardrobe needs replacing.
Carpets very worn, needs replacing.
Could hear the wind all night, better double glazing would be good.

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
The bathroom was nice and well lit.

I didn't eat there, so I can't comment on the food.
The single bed in the room seemed small. Thought i was gonna fall out at one point.
The shower head was probably the smallest I've ever seen although I managed to shower ok.

Breakfast was excellent, room good however the room was near a large night light which could not be dimmed out leaving the room bathed in light throughout the night.
As reported to the Hotel they need a blackout blind in that room, whether any other room has that problem I obviously don't know.

I had my propty stolen police gave a crime incident number the hotel manager did not care and was rather threatening in his behaviour youseing his statuer

A very enjoyable stay at The Royal Hotel. Great value, very welcoming staff with an ample sized car park. And all this on the seafront.

The location of the hotel was excellent.
Close to the seafront, pier and all other attractions.
The bedroom we had needs to be updated.
The carpet had seen better days and had lifted in
areas. The wall paper was lifting again in areas.
The sides to the bed was damaged (Ripped).
The breakfast was okay. The sausage was ‘Too hard’
for my liking. The bacon was tough and was stuck
together. Despite the quantity of the breakfast, the
plate had far too much items on top of each-other.
This spoilt appearance and taste.
Enjoyed our Three nights, but the Bedroom and
breakfast was disappointing.
