We had a great time staying at this property. It was very convenient to the 3 cities that we planned on visiting our week in NY. The property is very well cared for and up to date. All creature comforts of home. We would stay there again.

A few buddies were up in town and we stayed there. Plenty of bedroom space and big yard to enjoy the outside. Note that there are a decent amount of stairs to be aware of

My familiy and I are outdoor people thus were not restricted from our active lifestyle. However, expecting a kind of private home on 6 acres of reasonably open land we were shocked at: -the proximity to a very busy and noisy route 52 -the proximity of neighbors on both sides -the narrow, virtually inaccessible 6 acres of woodland -the architecture of both homes....(now I know why there were no outside pictures of the properties) -the pool house was as physically unappealing a building as one could imagine ( we had nice neighbors for a couple of days who used the pool house) -While very clean and neat, the main house was functionally OK for us, but lacked charm ( we spent no time there except for sleeping) -Your advertising indicated that the unit slept 14 which was true, but the supply of towels was not nearly enough for 14 people. The bathrooms and the bedrooms were also lacking in towel bars and hooks to allow clothes and towels to dry. -The kitchen with the island in the middle is inconvenient and not user-friendly for a large group. -The sewage grinder is very noisy, but usually drowned out by the high speed traffic on 52. -We did enjoy pool and the fire pit areas and hiking and running at nearby Sam's Point... -Restaurants in Pine Bush were quite good, both the Mexican and Pizza places. We would not return to this property and will be wary of renting others without more research in the future. We all agreed that it felt like a "bait and switch" sale to us. That said, it did not deter us from having a great time. I am uncertain about using VRBO in the future and I have had several other positive experiences with skiing adventures out west to counter this one so I am simply uncertain at this point.
