Great stay there . Very clean. Would have liked complimentary coffee left there and there was only one roll of paper towels no dish soap although there were dishwasher pods and washing machine pods which was helpful.Beds comfy.

We appreciated the great location within walking distance to beaches and restaurants. Overall great stay and would return again.

We had a great time! Our kids took the upstairs room and enjoyed having their own living room up there. We love Edisto!

This was the perfect home for our vacation. We loved the comfortable coziness in this home. The fireplace, the screened porch and deck were all used frequently during our stay. It's not all modern, it's has quite the homey atmosphere. Everything we needed was there, the location was private and quiet (with palm trees surrounding the property) and we could have been more surprising pleased. There were a limited number of availabilities to choose from during Christmas, but we were amazed at finding this gem on such short notice. Hoping to be able to rent it again in the summer.

This older beach home as perfect for our family getaway! Very clean (and I’m a clean freak), updated furnishings in living areas, comfortable beds, small bath soap, shampoo and conditioner provided in baths, basic kitchen cleaning products in kitchen. Loved the screened porch!!! Will definitely book Waller’s Hollow again! ❤️❤️❤️

We had a very good time at this property. My husband & I and some friends stopped by. All of us in our 70's. Of course the stairs were a downer (but we knew they would be). I was hoping from the property description that it was much closer to the beach. Having never been to Edisto before we didn't realize there was a main road between Pompano and the shoreline. The yard sizes are pretty large as well, so walking to the beach everyday was not a possibility for us. There are plenty of public access points to the beach all along the shore line so it wasn't terrible to drive to an access point. However I think in the summer months there might be issues finding a parking place. You can tell this is a somewhat older property and could use some updating in regards to tile work around the kitchen & bathroom shower area for sure. Seems like there might be some leaking pipes as there is some ceiling damage; this was not a problem for us but anyone with a sensitivity to mold may be insecure with it. The double porch area at the back of the property was wonderful - getting some sun in the daytime, or getting in behind the screening once some bugs came out. It was a good place to work on puzzles or play games. We found the furniture and beds very comfortable. The super big dinner table would be great for large groups. The kitchen was very well stocked.

Waller’s Hollow met our basic needs…4 bedrooms and pet friendly. Convenient location, short walk/golf cart ride to the beach. Downstairs a/c kept us comfortable, upstairs a/c struggled during the day so we didn’t spend much time up there in the heat of the day.

This home is conveniently located to the beach and restaurants/shops. The location couldn’t be much better outside of being beachfront. The condition of the home is another story. It’s is very outdated inside, not in good repair, and could use a deep cleaning. Landscaping is another area of opportunity. With the proper TLC and maintenance this home could be special.

Location is perfect, just around the corner to the beach. House has plenty of room for a large family. We enjoyed sitting on the screen porch the one rainy day we had. The house is older so it’s not perfect, which is expected. What was not expected, with the fees charged to rent this property, was the layers of dust and dirt. The touch surfaces were clean but the blinds, fixtures and moldings could use a deep cleaning. We would rent again.

Friendly Suggestions: Get rid about a third of the flatware. Reduce pots & pans. Couldn’t find individual measuring cups.

We really enjoy our trip. The house amenities took the guess work out and gave a home away from home. Second time at the same home and will be back.

2 minute walk to beach, great a/c unit. Plenty of sleeping places and parking. May need to let pest control spray due to multiple pest killed by us daily. Over all enjoyed it.

We enjoyed our stay, walk to the beach is super short . Lots of room in the house . Only negative would be the house needs a good deep cleaning dust was all over the walls.

The location of the house was great and being able to rent a golf cart from Vacasa was a plus. We had everything we needed and having linens provided was great. The agency was quick to answer any questions we had and I would recommend using them.

I hesitate to give a negative review, but this property was not up to our expectations. We have rented 2 different houses on the same street this house is on. We have been satisfied with both of them, so we were expecting a comparable experience here. This house has had some updates recently, but some of the work has been done poorly. The upstairs is very nice, but we were not able to utilize it because of mobility problems. Our guests liked the upstairs . Problems that I found were old, uncomfortable living room furniture, broken ceramic tiles, badly outdated kitchen, and cabinets crammed full of miscellaneous dishes, silverware, etc. which took up valuable space in which to store food. Atwood's responded to our needs, but they could do only so much. On the positive side the deck is great and the back yard is nice. With some work this could be a very nice place. I realize that most people do not have the same requirements we have when they stay for only a week end or a week. We required a place where we could spend time at the house while many people who stay in the summer spend their time at the beach, etc.
