The place had so many extras! It was beautiful with a stocked kitchen plus the kayaks- ping pong table and pool table was extra fun! We were all very comfortable there and loved it. Sitting out on the deck was so peaceful and beautiful plus a small little trek to the lake! This place was definitely amazing!!!!

We had family in the area but needed a bigger house with lake access - this one is perfect and can sleep a dozen if you need - big enough to spread out but small enough to keep intimacy with guests. Excellent place to stay! Thanks!

This rental was phenomenal! I gathered my 4 adult children and their spouses to celebrate Nana’s 75th birthday. Owner was easy to communicate with, lake access was very easy (mild hill walking), plenty of games and outdoor toys , kitchen dishes were wonderfully stocked, everyone slept well, driving/arrival conditions are very accurate. We had a wonderful weekend, wish we could have stayed longer.

Plenty of room. Comfortable accommodations. Great Kitchen (real 14 cup coffee maker, food processor, blender, cutting boards, complete knife set, etc. etc.). The house was really nice and excellently outfitted. Everything worked. Located on a very nice part of the lake. It was nice to go swimming every day and not have to leave the property. An enjoyable get-away.

Enjoyed games, ping pong, pool and exploring Heber Springs.

Property is remote lots of trees and view of the lake. The house was very well kept and lots of room inside. The extras were well worth it. We look forward to more stays here. Thank you for the use of your home

Wonderful property with unbeatable views of the lake.

This home was the perfect retreat for our family of 6 adults and 6 children, ages 14 yrs to 15 months! The home was very well provisioned with everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. Plenty of space to find your own little nook, and a large gathering space for family fun nights! (Though most of our time was spent on the beach and in the lake!!) It's a great spot for water activities! The drive into the home was a bit steep, but not impossibly so, and we appreciated having been notified to be careful. Thanks very much for letting us share your home.

Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay. We will be back! The property was very clean and well-maintained. Plenty of space for our large family to enjoy our time spent. We have no complaints. We kayaked, played pool and ping pong, swam, cooked three meals a day (great kitchen), and had a marshmallow roast. Bring your water shoes for the swim area as it is rocky and some beach chairs! It is so beautiful and surrounded by nature. LOVED it!

Experience through and through was great. One opportunity would be to describe just how steep the road in is. One morning after some rain, the road out was wet and with the steepness we were unable to ascend the hill in our Honda odyssey, even though it’s paved. The following morning all was dry and no issues given no reduction in traction on the road surface.

Our family was excited to come here and get away from it all. This place is quiet, peaceful and has something for everyone. Our kids are 4 and 15 and they both were very entertained! Plenty of space for everyone! Not much of a drive to some beautiful hikes in the area as well! The driveway is steep, just take it slow, we had absolutely no issues navigating it and the kids thought it was awesome. Thank you to the hosts for offering this peaceful gem!!

Excellent place to rent. Very spacious, well furnished. Pool table and ping pong and tons of board games. Multi level decks and covered porch area. Would highly recommend this place. 4 bedrooms and sleeping available downstairs.

Such a beautiful house and location. Bed was very comfortable. Only down fall is the drive to the house, it’s very steep but still drivable. Being able to wake up and see the lake was incredible. We didn’t want to leave! It was a great reset and just what we needed.

We always take a trip around the holidays with two other families, there are 14 of us total and this beautiful lake house fit us perfectly! Emily, the owner, and Rhonda the housekeeper went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay wonderful. We would definitely like to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

The home was fabulous. Even though the weather was bad during our stay, the amenities…pool table, ping pong table, and large garage (the little ones were able to ride their new tricycles) provided lots of indoor activities. The only issue was the road leading to the property. The morning we left, the road was wet. Two of our three vehicles had difficulty making it back up the very steep drive. We loved the home but not the location.

Spacious, secluded and clean. The house has an open floor-plan., joining the living room and kitchen, which enables the whole family to be together and around one another while doing their own thing. Views were great, the games room was an extra added bonus, as well as the wide variety of board games and dvds. We would suggest (especially in the colder, winter months) to have more & thicker blankets for guests. There are only two blankets and they were both very thin, and with the house being surrounded with glass windows, it makes the house colder. We would also suggest taking a look at the fire place - it would just randomly stop burning after just a few mins. Other than that, everything was perfect!!!

Secluded and peaceful!

The place looks even better than it did in pictures! We had a wonderful time, and would be likely to return in the future. Mind the driveway though! It’s a doozy if you’re unprepared!

Was absolutely fabulous for my family’s purpose: the meeting of 4 different families of same surname that had never met… connecting at the specific intersections…. Very successfully I might add.

Everything was super easy and the house was unreal. We had a great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our annual family vacation at the cabin! It had plenty of space for 6 adults, 3 kids and a baby! We enjoyed walking down to the water and it was very private. A little difficult to carry the kayaks down over the rocks, but not awful. The pillows on the queen beds were uncomfortable so I would suggest bring your own from home. The king bed was wonderful! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a variety of large meals for the week. Overall very happy with our stay!

Our stay was great except for the grill was not working luckily someone had brought a griddle. There was a strong gas smell from the cabinets under the stove. It’s a little walk to the water. It’s a quiet place to stay.

We had a great time and look forward to getting back up there.

Went to this lake house for a couples get away weekend with 4 couples. Very impressed with cleanliness and space for games/hanging out. We stayed all weekend and cooked all meals. Loved that the kitchen was stocked with all kitchen needs, even spices, multiple mixing bowls, casserole dishes, etc . Used the brand new grill and it worked amazing! Loved going down to the lake and swimming/floating all day on our own private section! Only downside was our beds had thin quilts and there was no other blankets in the house. Also, the Wi-Fi was extremely weak. Expect to have no service here and barely could send a text using their Wi-Fi. It was so weak that the smart TV in living room could not connect and we could not use it all weekend. We did kill a very very large spider in the bunk bed room… Overall, great place for friends and family to enjoy getting out of town!! Great Lake access to swim and great space to play games/hang out!! Great for playing pool and ping pong!!

We were very happy with our choice to stay here. It was very clean and peaceful. The back porch was great place to drink a cup of coffee in the morning. You can only catch small glimpses of the lake from the back porch, but no worries, you are a short walk from it. We cooked all our meals here and had a great stay. We brought our boat and anchored it off shore. The AC worked awesome. The TV's were well stocked with movies and the pool table kept us busy in the house. Ping pong table is in the garage. Cell service is sketchy and the WiFi didn't really work well at all. I did a speed test and we had 0.5 mbps download speed, so it was basically unusable. Even with the quirks, we'd come back and stay here again. Tips/info for staying here: 1. The driveway down to the property is STEEP, so beware. It is paved, but is the steepest driveway I've been on. If it's wet, absolutely don't try it with a loaded trailer. If the trailer is empty, you'll be ok, but be sure to swing wide on the corners. On the way out, I used 4 wheel drive in my truck to keep from slipping on the dry pavement. 2. The king bed is hard and the kids bunk beds are too soft. Kids bunk beds are deep memory foam, so our kids couldn't roll over without forcing themselves awake, then struggling to roll over. 3. If you plan to bring a boat, the beach is rocky, so plan to anchor it in the water away from the bank. You can tie one end to the tree and anchor the other. I wouldn't recommend beaching it because the beach is sharp rocks. The boat ramps is very close, so that's handy. Tip for the owners/managers: 1. The gas grill needs some rehab. The bottles were empty then didn't work when I replaced them. 2. The "non-stick" pans need to be replaced. They were terrible. The rest were fine, but you also need to add a muffin pan. (On the bright side, we had blueberry cake instead of muffins, so that was new experience we all laughed at.) 3. The picnic table on the back porch is due to be replaced. It's wobbly and I think with too many adults, it might collapse. 4. I'd suggest more neutral beds, but I know that's expensive. The beds ranged from too hard to too soft for a VRBO with only the two queen beds in the "Goldilocks" zone of "just right". 5. Emily (the manager) took prompt care of us, so that was a nice experience. We had no hot water upon arrival but flipping a breaker per her advice fixed us right up. She also reimbursed us for propane we had to buy.

We absolutely loved the house and the ease to the lake. We were able to use the kayaks and that was a lifesaver with the children since we were not able to go out in the boat due to weather. We were also glad they had a pool table and ping pong table to keep the kiddos busy. The only negative was that we didn’t have hot water on the last day but I definitely recommend and will go back myself

What a wonderful stay we had. You couldn’t ask for much more to do. Nice pool table, ping pong table, a lake front house 2 2 man kayaks, a canoe, and all the requirements need to use . My only complaint was it was 100 degrees. But can’t blame anyone for that. Went to Seattle a couple years ago and it was 100 there. Had a great time, same plenty of wildlife.

This was a wonderful vacation and everything was as advertised. There are so many extras, such as kayaks and a canoe with lake access. Everything needed for the kitchen is shared. There are even life vests provided and many games. The top bunks of the bunkbeds are too high for little ones and the mattresses are a bit sparse for adults. It is in the wilderness, and as others have warned, wifi is not reliable for work purposes. We took a baby gate for a toddler for the stairs to the basement. Really special place! Hope to stay here again!
