Zcela výjimečná lokalita. Nádherné ubytování.

Ubytování velice ubírá, že většina nabízených jídel je z polotovaru. Ochutnali jsme knedlíky plněné uzeným (polotovar), borůvkové knedlíky (polotovar), které byly naprosto zbytečně zpackané šlehackou ze spreje. Na snídani velmi omezený výběr, káva rozpustná.

Celkové ubytování bylo moc pekne

Das Frühstück war lecker, das Personal sehr nett und man kann dort auch sehr lecker und günstig Abendessen. Wir hatten 3 Hunde dabei, was überhaupt kein Problem war.

Beautiful landscape, maximum cleanliness, friendly stuff, extra bicycle shed, excellent restaurant in the accomodation

Coffee, from machine at breakfast for extra charge, was an unpleasant suprise at the end...

Despite bit of a language barrier, the staff was very nice, always smiling and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. Beer on tap was sensational - Brezi Koza (only downside of that beer is that you can only buy the whole keg at the brewery...). It's also very close to the woods, lots of birches, so the nearby area is very charming. Apparently they have a herd of sheep grazin on the meadow between the 2 buildings, but sadly they were not there during our stay.

1) Beds - these had spring mattrasses. They weren't old, but boy these are always so uncomfortable. 2) During our stay the, apparently facilities manager, left for holiday and left the rest of the staff without the ability to accept cards in the restaurant - yes, you have to pay for your food on the spot even if accommodated which would not be a problem if this didn't happen. it also lasted for the whole week we were there; nearest ATM? 15km in Volary if I don't count the Euronet scam nearby. 3) Breakfast were truly basic, which isn't a problem per se, but serving instant coffee is, I mean this place isn't particularly dirt cheap to not be able to afford decent coffee. 4) Food in general, or lack of selection to be precise. The problem? The usual Czech classics you can literally find everywhere in the Sumava region (though to be fair it's 100% spot on for an average Czech diet which is apparently? what people want to eat). The dishes themselves were tasty, but I'd say too much on the fatty side and so we ultimately looked for other options.

Breakfast was delicious! The area was beautiful with mountain views on all sides. Walking distance to the little town nearby. The host was fantastic! She really was great to a colleague who knew Russian (both lived or were from Ukraine), but not Czech. It was beautiful to see the connection.

Where were the sheep in the pictures? I warned my colleagues that there were sheep and to bring shoes that could get dirty from possible sheep being there.

Very friendly staff. Very nice room.

Nice apartment, floor heating (excellent for winter), great staff who cooked for us home-made pelmene and vareniky, the brezi koza beer tasted also very well.

We would appreciate some fruit and better coffee for the breakfast, so please a) offer another included option apart from soluble/instant coffee and b) the coffee from the espresso machine didn't taste well.
