We had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend at Dana's beautiful cabin. So homey, cozy and well-stocked. My grandchildren (3 and 6 yrs) had a great time sledding and playing in the snow. Dana was very responsive and helpful host.

The cabin is beautiful and the pictures are accurate! We enjoyed a long weekend, received close to 2' of snow at the cabin. There's a great view off the living area and the wood burning stove makes for a classic winter feel. Dana is a very gracious host and ensured our trip to her place was a success, she even called to make sure we made it out of the snow ok! We will definitely be booking we her again, and thank you Dana!

The Christensen Cabin was welcoming, homey, comfortable, cozy, and perfect for our family’s Holiday gathering. Our hosts provides large selection of books, and games. Our family ranged from 2 to 80, they was something for everyone. We felt safe and secure nestled in the pines dusted with both rain and snow.

Place was great. Nice and clean. Great communication throughout from the owner. Would stay again for sure. Lucked out and got plenty of snow.

Dana, the host was very attentive to our needs, replying quickly to our questions. Her home is inviting and fully equipped. Loved sitting on the deck in early morning listening to a variety of birds, and viewing the landscape including the pond, very peaceful. Spent a nice week with family, plan to return. All I can say is, wow, where do I begin! We new that the cabin would be beautiful from the photos, and being such a close drive to Pinecrest lake in one direction, and Sonora for good eats and beer gardens in the other is prime location. However once we actually got to this home, it was better than we could have imagined. I contacted Dana before our trip to ask about a slightly earlier check in time, she was more than accommodating! The house guide and check in process is simple, and she gave me additional information prior to checking in so I had no questions once getting there. The property is behind a private gate which will be personalized to you to enter. The neighborhood is quiet and gorgeous. The balcony of the cabin looks over the large swimming pond, which had many children and families running around the beach, kayaking, and swimming. I even went on a run one of the mornings around the back of the pond where there are pretty trails and wild flower fields. It is just breath taking. The cabin itself was extremely clean and full of unique and homey details that were perfect for being in the mountains. Dana even left out fun little things for the kids like American flags, bead necklaces, bubbles, and miniature golf sets. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need and more to cook and bbq any meal! The kids enjoyed the large living room, netflix available, and stash of board games under the stairs. There are plenty of placed to sleep, and our bed in the room downstairs was very comfortable. Both bathrooms are renovated beautifully with a walk in shower down stairs and a VERY large soaking tub upstairs! The back deck is where the adults spent most of their time as the view is impeccable. Pinecrest lake was about 15 minute drive through the mountains, but the beach was packed with kids and fun. Check out the outdoor movie theater while you are there! We would absolutely stay here again, and have already talked about booking it year after year.

Consistent communication from the start. The area was quiet and beautiful. The cabin stayed cool and was well equipped with kitchen supplies and bathroom necessities. Great view from the patio where we enjoyed our breakfast before our walks around the property. Nice neighbors.

We had a fantastic experience at Dana’s mountain home. The house was very beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, super clean and comfortable. The large living room allowed us to spend the evenings in a nice, warm atmosphere. The patio was very spacious and revealing picturesque views of the surrounding nature. It was furnished with new, well maintained patio furniture. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and with comfortable beds with electric blankets. The kitchen was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The bathrooms were remodeled and extremely clean. Overall it exceeded our expectations and we had memorable time. We definitely will come back!

We (2 couples with 3 kids between us, ranging 1-6 years old) had a wonderful weekend at Dana's cabin. We loved the aesthetic - from the small electric lanterns that our kids loved carrying around to the bountiful stacks of firewood, it's everything we wanted in a cabin. The home guide Dana shared with us prior to check-in is also very thorough - we had a little trouble figuring out some of the light switches, but then we read the guide and sure enough, it told us what to do!

My family and I had such a wonderful time staying at this property. The owner keeps the place very tidy and well-appointed. She was also super responsive. It was a great location between snow activities at Dodge Ridge plus Leland Snowplay and gold country exploration at Columbia and Jamestown. We were thrilled to get fresh snow fall the night we arrived. Nothing like waking up to a fresh blanket of snow. The serene view from the back deck is calming and gorgeous. It was nice to have a small hill in the backyard where my kids were able to enjoy the sleds at the house. Lots of lovely (& fun) decor at the house to make it feel homey. The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great long weekend at the Long Barn cabin. The place is great, well equipped and with lots of space for our group of 2 adults and 2 kids. Everyone had fun in the mountains and skiing at Dodge Ridge which is just 20 minutes away.

This is one of the nicest vacation homes I have stayed in in terms of decor. Every corner and wall is decorated with art, ornaments, lights thoughtfully. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and enjoying meals. The common space is spacious and well furnished. Beds were very comfortable with great mattress, bedding and pillows. The owner really put in many thoughtful touches everywhere. The hosts stayed in touch and were very flexible and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back soon. Highly recommended!

Our family had a great time at this cottage because it was just the right speed for our kids, ages 5 and 10. We sledded on the gentle hill across the street, made snowmen, and drank hot cocoa by the fireplace with a great view out of the large windows.

The house was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed, and the location was perfect for casual walks, playing in the snow, and nearby hiking trails. Communicating with Dana was fast and easy. I would definitely stay again!!

We rented this cabin for the week of Thanksgiving and had a wonderful stay with our family. There was plenty of space for all 6 of us plus our 15 month old son. Dana made our stay very comfortable and was available to answer any questions we had. The house had an amazingly stocked kitchen, with all the utensils and spices needed to make a feast. Both of the bathrooms were great - the upstairs one had a huge bathtub perfect for the toddler and for relaxing. We’re so glad we were able to stay and make memories together as a family in the mountains.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming cabin. Dana, the host, was very accommodating and flexible with our party, and the house was clearly very well care for. It's located in a beautiful wooded area, near a pond, and hiking access. We had a great swim, and fun day playing with the kids, at Pincrest Lake just up the road. I highly recommend this rental!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful, nestled in the trees. The cabin is very homey and has everything you need for a trip away! Dana was incredibly helpful and prompt with her replies. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful, spacious, and well appointed cabin. I stayed here with a few colleagues while we were doing field work in the area and it provided a great base camp for us after a couple long days in the field. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room and bedrooms were very comfortable. The deck was great for dining and relaxing. Check in and out was easy and Dana was very communicative. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved “Camp Christensen”, the property was clean and cozy. Dana was quick to respond to any question right from the initial request to reserve. We love staying in High Sierra Park, it’s quiet all through the day and night. The kids love playing at the park and in the pond, unfortunately due to the drought the pond was closed to swimming but we still were able look for frogs and tadpoles, as well as build sand castles. We also took a day trip to Pinecrest lake and another day trip to Beardsley Reservoir. Of course we also had to have Mias for dinner one night too. All in all this years trip was perfect and it all started with Camp Christensen. Can’t wait to book again, Thank you Dana

Everything about the property was wonderful. Owner was in communication quickly when minor challenges arises and made everything work out to have a wonderful time at the property. Kids loved it and didn’t want to leave when it was time to go! Highly recommend and hope to return!

Dana's cabin was perfect for my family and me. Plenty of space and just what I was looking for, a place to escape in the pine trees. The cabin was very well stocked. I love it when everything you need to cook or bake is at your finger tips. I was there over the 4th holiday - Dana was really thoughtful, providing decorations to make it festive. A nice touch. It was a hot weekend and we had plenty of fans, thankfully. I highly recommend this cabin!
