I needed a weekend away and wanted to be close to water. This property fit the bill quite well and I throughly enjoyed my stay.

Family rented three units. We loved the beach and location and use of beach equipment. Also the fire pit

The place was nice and quiet and very relaxing right on the beach!

It was a cute little one room cottage. Very retro, no frills, but had everything I needed. I loved the fact that it is right on the beach that we had to ourselves. No tourists to deal with. And I made some new friends with the family and the couple in the neighboring units. We all got along great. Played games and sat around the bonfire at night. If I needed anything, I messaged the hosts and they took care of it immediately. Great place to stay.

We’ve visited here now a couple times. Always a great up north cottage feel, with a great view and steps from the beach literally!!! Great to just relax and unwind… exactly what we needed. We will be back again..

Great property in a beautiful setting on Lake Huron. Our door opened directly to the beach and we enjoyed incredible sunrises over Lake Huron. We stayed in the smallest cabin this visit and it was quite adequate for our 2-day stay. We enjoyed the property so much that we intend to return next year for an entire week. Was a great place to stay for a weekend getaway.

I went to this property after a writing retreat with the intention of pondering and writing. With the continual pounding of the Lake Huron waves, I was delighted to read and write and simply BE in nature. The room is small, but all I needed. I will return.

We had a wonderful weekend in unit #3. Great location close to Oscoda and not far from Tawas. The cabin was small but all we needed and right on the beach! It was a great stay and we will stay here again. Oh and it’s pet friendly so our best friend was able to stay with us too!

It was perfect. Tim and Nancy were the best. So flexible with check in and out. Perfect location. 30 or 40 feet from lake Huron. The sunrise was just gorgeous. The sound of the waves crashing in the beach. We had our own bbq grill. How perfect. Thanks to Tim and Nancy and the great people we met

Overall the place was what we enjoy. Extremely close to the water (maybe 40 feet). Nice boardwalk, then right on to the beach. The unit we were in was extremely small, perfect for us. The beach was only about 75 feet wide then breakers on each of the adjoining properties. So very few people on our beach. The property isn't well marked, so we ended up walking through the adjoining property, also thought that proper was part of our property and used some of their firewood by mistake. On arrival we did not know what or where to go? Ended up finding out that the door to our unit was just unlocked and walked right in with no communication with the property owner. The pictures in the listing do not give you a good idea of the property - it's much nicer that what it appears. If you don't like dogs - forget it. Out of the 5 units that were occupied, we were the only one without a dog. In the heat, the street side of the units where the dogs did there thing, got to be a little smelly.

Tim and Nancy have started to make some great improvements to a wonderful property. We stayed in cabin 3 which is a very small space but it was big enough for us. The full size bed was comfortable and despite the 85 degree weather, the space stayed a cool temperature. The beach was great to be able to stop outside and have right in front of us.

"They" said you couldn't get much closer to the water from your room, they were right. Great place! Fridge, grill, chairs, table. kayaks, all there just bring plenty of sand or water toys, is all you will need. Clean & nice, our dog loved it too. Cleaning lady showed me some of the other bigger cabins, we will be going back!

This was the perfect cottage for a quick getaway with our dog. Great location, lake is steps away and the cottage had everything we needed. Loved being close enough to downtown to enjoy the restaurants and coffee shop. Can’t wait to book a return trip!

The place was very hard to find. We never got the email the owner said he would send. Our room was small but comfortable. A small table would have been nice, although we ate our meals outside. There was a problem with gnat-like bugs inside our room. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Tim and Nancy are the best. They made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. Cannot wait until we can return.

This was a wonderful get away, with even better views right From your room. The access to the beach right out your room door is priceless.. the cleaning help (Casey) was very helpful with any questions and needing any extra towels/linens ect. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

First thing is to type on the directions in your GPS instead of just clicking on them from vrbo. There are two addresses with the same number on the same road. Secondly, you just go to your cabin when you get there. The door is open. There is no check in process. Thirdly, the room was very clean. It's not fancy but it has all you need plus more. And, finally, THE PLACE IS AWESOME!!!! The beach is right outside your door!!! It's beautiful. They have kayaks you can use. You have your own grill. There are tables and chairs. There's one big community fire pit on the beach. I will DEFINITELY be back and I'll refer it to anyone going to that area!!!! It was an excellent weekend getaway. Amazing!!!!

A great spot to explore the Oscoda area from. We were looking for a place where we could stay with our dog. The cabin was small but clean and described well online. Right on the beach and could listen to the waves at night. Each little resort along the coast has its own little beach. Then there are several bigger beaches you can drive to. Tim was there to welcome us when we checked in and helped us get settled. We had a great weekend.

I loved this rustic beach front cottage. They aren’t kidding when they say you can’t get any closer to Lake Huron. Tim & Nancy are phenomenal hosts. I extended my stay. Clean, comfortable & picturesque. I can’t wait to go back. They have several kayaks for guest use. Which I thought was a nice touch. Fire pit, large sandy beach frontage, great views of the sun and moon rise. The most pleasant stay I have had in quite a while. Keep up the good work and I look forward to staying here again. Check this place out you will not be disappointed.

We both loved this location and the property! This place was beyond our expectations. Real old time on the beach cottage, being restored to their former glory by excellent new owners. We’re coming back!
