Our family of 6 adults spent a few days at this lovely home in mid-August for an end-of-summer trip. We were all very comfortable in the house as there was plenty of space for everyone. There were also great gathering areas for times we wanted to be together.
The house is stocked with everything a great rental home can offer. We didn't lack one thing while spending time at this house and could have left a lot of the items we brought behind as they were already there for us to use at the house, including shower and bathroom items and plenty of kitchen items.
The location was great as two of our newest family members had never been to Southwest Michigan. So we spent each day going to a new small town between New Buffalo and Saugatuck to show them all the great spots in our favorite area to vacation.
A must-visit when coming to this home is Jean Klock Beach. What a gem of a beach area I never knew existed after 15+ years of annual vacations in southwest Michigan. This beach is a mile from the house with plenty of parking, a great beach area, and restrooms.
Kristi was fabulous to work with. She was super communicative as we had questions and surprised us with a few small gifts when we got to the house on the first day.

We were so happy with our choice of homes for our vacation to Benton Harbor/St. Joseph! The location was so convenient to several beaches as well as the town of St. Joseph. Everything was so clean and welcoming! The furnishings, beds and very updated kitchen couldn't have been nicer or more comfortable. The kids in our group loved all the games and books. We were so happy to have all the beach chairs, umbrellas and towels to use so we could pack lighter. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area!

We played pickle ball, went to nearby beaches and hung around with the family by the fire pit and cooked all our meals in a well equipped kitchen. The place was very clean and the owner was wonderful to work with.

This is a great location for any group looking to stay in the St. Joseph area. The house has plenty of space, amenities, bathrooms, and parking. It was so easy to get to St. Joseph, the beaches, and South Haven isn’t too far away as well. We felt that was quicker to get back to the house from Silver Beach by car than it would be if we had stayed at a place downtown. This house was perfect for our mother, 3 adult daughters, and 3 kids (ages 5 and 2) girl trip! Highly recommend!

Just returned from a great home in Benton Harbor. The location was perfect. So close to everything. The house was well stocked with everything that you would need. My kids love to cook and everything you could think of was in the kitchen. There were games and books for the kids. They thought of it all. The communication with the owner was great. This home was very well supplied with anything we needed to enjoy ourselves while on vacation. The kitchen had any appliance we could possibly need. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, toys, etc. We were very comfortable and had a great time.

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and neat and was perfect for our group of 8. The only downside was the hot water. We constantly ran out when we wanted to clean up from a fun day at the beach.

This is a beautiful house. It was perfect for our yearly family get together. The description and pictures represent the place very accurately. This house has everything for a relaxing vacation, from a well equipped kitchen to beach items you can find in the garage. It is a short 5 min drive from St. Joseph, where we spent time on the beach, went to the farmer's market, played with the fountains in the park, and had plenty of ice cream.
Kristi is a excellent host. She was very responsive and quickly anwered all our questions.

We had a great stay here. The house is updated, clean, spacious and had so many amenities we used. The kids loved the bedrooms and large "rec" room downstairs with a super fun foosball table. The yard was great to run around in and well-manicured. The adults appreciated the updated appliances, the location of the property and all the beach gear (cooler, towels, beach chairs, etc). Location was great for a family or group that needs some extra space but still close to St Joes. Highly recommend.

A beautiful clean and well presented house. All bedrooms were a good size with plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen is modern and has all appliances needed including super large fridge. We enjoyed our stay at Kristi’s place in Benton Harbor! The house was perfect for our 2 families to stay together. The kids enjoyed the downstairs TV and activity room. We all appreciated the beautiful kitchen, large yard, and comfortable bedrooms! The location was close to multiple beaches in the area, which was the focus of our summer weekend trip.

We booked this stay for our daughters wedding at The Blue Dress Barn. It is close to all of the local attractions. It is within walking distance to a couple of beaches on the lake and in a quiet neighborhood. It is well equipped and spacious. We had everything we needed. Kristi made the check in and out process seamless and even left the lights on for our late arrival at night. The flowers and wine were a special and unique touch. We loved everything about the house. The bridal party got ready at the house and the natural lighting was excellent for our needs. If you are looking for a beautiful and spacious family getaway in Benton Harbor this is the place to be.

This was a great place for our group to race and support the Steelhead 70.3 event. We sat in the upstairs space without TV’s spending most of the weekend chatting, joking, and having a lot of fun. The kitchen is beautiful and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the foosball game and spent time playing and watching tv downstairs. Very close to the race, to beaches, and to the downtown area that had some great restaurants. Great place for a get away or for a family racing Steelhead 70.3!

This property was the perfect size for my family of eight to stay. And the open spaces were helpful when the bridesmaids came over to get their hair and makeup done. The windows and skylights allowed the natural light to come in and made pictures perfect. The distance to downtown was perfect for quick trips to pickup the pizza or go to the beach. The property manager was available and prompt with answers to questions.

Our son got married near by and 8 of us stayed at the house and it was wonderful. With 4 bathrooms and bedrooms there was room for everyone, in addition there are 3 extra living spaces so it is very spacious. The kitchen has all the amenities of being home!

The home was everything it was listed to be. Large bedrooms, four bathrooms well equipped, beds were comfortable, kitchen was outfitted with utensils, pots and pans. We had eight people in the house and we were all very comfortable with the property and the stay. There’s a fire pit in the yard and that was great as well.

Our family enjoyed the rental as it was very clean, quiet, and accommodated multiple families. There was also enough vehicle space in the driveway for three cars, including a garage without having to utilize the street. The house had literally everything we needed for our stay. There were enough sports equipment, sand toys, chairs, towels, and an umbrella for the outdoors and beach which was SO helpful! We recommend the beaches nearby, which are way less crowded than Silver Beach. Kristi was very responsive, and explained everything in detail about the home. A very family friendly home and would stay here again.

Kristi’s property is in a very quiet, nice neighborhood. The location is perfect, with it being a short couple minute drive to a handful of beaches and downtown St Joseph. She has a beautiful home that was a perfect fit for six adults and two children. We loved the beach chairs, towels and sand toys we were able to borrow during our stay. Would absolutely recommend staying in this beautiful home if you are in the area!

So many great things to say about Kristi's place! First of all, Kristi was very responsive and helpful when answering my many questions before and after booking. Beautiful home, inside and out! Walked in to fresh cut flowers and wine and sparkling juice on the kitchen table! Loved the fire pit with plenty of chairs. We had 6 adults and 2 kids, ages 4 & 8. We really appreciated the beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and toys, esp. since 2 of the 3 families had to fly there. Also, grateful for the condiments, tea, coffee, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion! Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of bath towels and washrags. No iron and ironing board, but we got by. Nice neighborhood , close to beaches and downtown St. Joseph. Everything in the listing description, including the pictures, is 100% accurate. Comfortable stay with true hospitality
We had the best stay at Kristi’s home in St. Joe for our visit down memory lane. From the the warm welcome of fresh cut flowers, complimentary wine and sparking juice, to making sure to leave the lights on for our late arrival…. The home was clean, bright, fresh and new, well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, comfy beds, linens, sundry items, cleaning supplies…! The space lent itself well for families. Our boys had the basement rooms and plenty of space to spread out. The neighborhood feel was pleasant, and I enjoyed a nice Fall walk to the beach. It was just a quick ride to downtown.
Kristi showed true hospitality, and the home was well thought out for rental families. We will definitely be back for our next trip to St Joe. Thank you Kristi and the Steele family!

Beautiful home!
We had 4 couple meet and stay here from IL and Mi for winery tours. This was the perfect home for us. It was very clean and beautifully decorated! There was a lot of natural light, which made it seem so refreshing! Kristi left us wine and chocolates, which was such a sweet touch. Thank you! First Family Get-Away
This was a fantastic property for our first family vacation! We were two families of 4, each family has two littles under the age of 5. We selected this property not only for its location but it’s gorgeous and spacious set up. Kristi was a very responsive and gracious host, reaching out on several occasions to make sure we had arrived ok, checking to see if we had everything we needed and answering any questions we had. The home is equipped with many things from all sorts of kitchen items, grill and fire pit, to beach necessities (chairs, umbrellas and beach towels). We will certainly be back and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Loved our stay!
The house was beautiful and very clean! There was plenty of space for my family and our friends family. Kristi thought of everything to make us feel welcome! The beds were comfortable and there plenty of bath towels. The beach towels and chairs provided were very nice and one less thing for us to pack! The house was just a short drive to Silver Beach where we went every day. We really enjoyed our stay here!
