Prime location in the Centro Storico, beautiful and spotlessly clean apartment, and incredibly friendly and. genuine hosts. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Everything was great.

We have been so pampered by our host Melania and her family that it has been a wonderful trip. Melania has been so helpful prior to arrival with parking issue and all through our stay. Her flat is a jewel nested in the historical center with lots of restaurants and amazing monuments around. It is arranged with modern taste and with great care for each and every detail which make you definitely feel like home. we will definitely come back or recommend your place Melania. This place is just wonderful, with an attention to details that exceeds Italian standards. The location is perfect, right in the center of Altamura, and the people running the guesthouse are lovely. Definitely recommend it!

Nothing not to like

Beautiful clean apartment in a great location. Nicely renovated space with preservation of historical elements. The furnishings combine stylish design and practicality. Huge and comfortable bathroom is a dream come true for every traveler. Although the apartment is located just steps from the historic center, it is incredibly quiet at night. The perfect experience is enhanced by the quick and helpful communication with the hostess. I recommend this place to anyone just passing through Altamura.

10/10 on Booking and 5/5 on Google do Zia Marietta apartment the justice it deserves. Cozy and no ce apartment, a lot of attention to detail, in the heart of an amazing old town full of everyday life (not overrun by tourists) and on top, Melania and her family (it is a family business, as the name, Aunt Marietta's place, would suggest ;) are very welcoming and nice hosts. We didn't miss a thing and loved our stay in Altamura, which has way more to offer than bread (which is delicious) and the cathedral (which is breathtaking). So if you think about staying here, I would highly recommend that you book more nights than you were planning to - you won't regret it, I'm sure of it :)

Nothing negative whatsoever, just three hints: 1) park the car outside the old town. And if you're not Italian, like us, I suggest two minutes longer a walk but therefore a stress free parking process. We had a spot 10mins from the apartment, perfect even with backpacks. 2) the bed is really 1,80m long. For me, a 1,90m bloke, it was still perfectly comfy (tucked my feet in with the blanket, felt cozy and safe even with my feet dangling out :) 3) yes, the apartment is really as nice as everyone says! You surely will love it too.
