We had very good communication with the hosts/housekeeper prior to arrival and they provided us with lots of information. They were happy for us to check-in earlier and they were very happy to offer recommendations when asked and nothing was a problem for them. We rented a car and the car park was excellent - it was an indoor story carpark attached to the building secured with a gate. The apartment was spotless and was one of the best equipped apartments we have stayed in. There were a good number of pots and pans with a transferable handle, cutlery, cups, glasses, plates, bowls so that we could cook anything that we wanted. There was also a microwave, good sized fridge, a dish washer with washing tablets provided. There was some olive oil, salt, pepper, herbs, tea, coffee and sugar etc. The kitchen had a breakfast bar but the balcony was huge and there was a dining table, sun loungers and a clothes drying rack. The bedroom was a good size but the main storage was in the corridor. The storage unit also had an ironing board and iron as well as beach things like a beach sand screen and bucket and spade for children. The bathroom was very big and there were plenty of extra towels. The building had a reception area and the receptionists were able to speak English. There was also a small bar/restaurant with a seating area and of course a heated pool. There was a bus stop going to Ajaccio right in front of the building, although we used the car (it would be a very long distance to walk to the main city centre). There was a short walk to a large number of beautiful sandy beaches and there were also some other restaurants along the sea front. We also found a great bakery/patissiere next to the Spar shop where we bought all our French pastries and bread.
