The house was both beautiful and comfortable. The views were incredible. There was more than enough room for our group of six adults and three kids. The location is perfect - so many things to do. We visited RMNP, Grand Lake, and Winter Park (alpine slide) - there was even a music festival and mountain biking right in the neighborhood. Denise was fantastic to communicate with and offered us some great suggestions of things to do with the kids. We highly recommend this listing!

We have rented from VRBO members over the last 10 years and can honestly say we had the best experience ever during our last stay at this property! As the property profile shows, this is the World's Coolest Ski in/Ski out property in more ways than one! While this was our first summer trip to Granby, we have stayed in many different homes and Condos over the years and none even come close to this home! Beginning with the communication, Denise (and Rick) are very responsive and hands on owners. They provide a wealth of knowledge prior to your stay and yet they leave you alone to enjoy their beautiful home! At the same time, any time we had a question, Denise was very quick to respond almost within seconds of our inquiry. The home itself is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The glass windows in the master bedroom allow for viewing of the stars at night and watching the sun rise in the AM (if you allow the blinds to be open :) The downstairs bedrooms are almost as big as spacious allowing all guests to feel they have their own 'master' bedroom. The kitchen was absolutely amazing and make cooking every meal enjoyable for the whole family! Typically we are a family who enjoys eating out on vacation but even my boys would agree, this kitchen made it more enjoyable to eat at home. We still can't get over how cool the home stayed in August in Colorado without air-conditioning. Even as the days got above 80 degrees, the house somehow was designed to stay cool with the thermostat never getting higher than 72 inside. The SONOS speakers throughout the house was a pleasant surprise! Someone could be listening to their choice of music while enjoying the hot tub downstairs, while someone else was in the master bedroom upstairs getting ready listening to their music and the two never competed. Each member of my family commented at some point during our trip that this was the greatest vacation we have ever taken as family and this was in large part due to the generosity of Denise and Rick opening their home to us. We plan to come back next year and if I have my way, we will enjoy both Winter and Summer here! Thank you, Mark

The house was wondering and easily accommodated our 10 guests. We thought the location was ideal for activities in the area with great access to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. The views were outstanding and the amenities at the base lodge were excellent (mountain biking rentals, pool, dining).

The views from the place were amazing. The house was well stocked with everything you needed. Denise the Manager was very responsive and had someone there early to shovel the driveway to make sure we could get out. I would recommend this place and would rent it again!

Had high expectations for our ski house rental and we were NOT disappointed! The pictures of the house are spot on. Spectacular views from the great-room, kitchen, deck and master bedroom. Three bedrooms have attached baths, with the fourth bedroom using a separate bath. All were very clean and very nicely appointed. The kitchen was wonderful, 6 burner with built in griddle, double oven is the center piece. All the utensils, pots and pans you could use. Variety of small appliances as well. The kitchen is attached to the great room, so everyone can be involved. Large wood burning fireplace in the great room, it’s a second gas fireplace in the lower level family room. Huge smart TV in the family room as well. We loved the hot tub, very private, with room for four adults. A short walk to the end of the block brings you to a ski run. Loved the house and the communication with Denise was super fast and easy. I could not recommend this property more highly.

We stayed with our 3 kids and in-laws and had an incredible stay. The house was wonderful and the views were absolutely amazing. The house had everything we needed. Our kids had never skied before and Granby Ranch was perfect for them while still offering us plenty of good blue runs. We had such a great time that we extended our stay for an extra 2 nights. Denise was easy to work with and very quick to reply to any questions. We will definitely be back! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us.

This properly is perfect for all your Colorado adventures! It is beautiful inside as well as phenomenal views. We stayed in the summer and decided to come back for a winter experience and it was just as beautiful! Denise is a great host, great communication, and very helpful. We had everything that we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We can not wait to return for more memories! With that said— If you are looking for a true ski in ski out I do not think one exists in the entire neighborhood. Home again or slot shot to Mamies way are the runs to the “ski in ski out neighborhood” however they still involve walking to most the homes. The ski out- is a walk down the street from the house to the run and the run is very flat so it is a lot of walking in skis and was not very enjoyable especially with children. Not sure if this is how it always is or just this particular time. The ski-in is a blue trail so can be difficult with new skiers and then you have to take off your skis to walk up the road to the house. I would stay here again without reservation just plan on driving to the ski lodge and enjoying the day from there which is what we ended up doing each day. Thank you Denise for an incredible week. We are already planning our next trip back!

We had an amazing week in this house in Granby Ranch! Denise could not have been any more wonderful to work with for this rental! The house was amazing. Our friends cancelled at the last minute because of illness and the uncertainty of weather, but there would have been PLENTY of room for all of us to stay there comfortably. I can't say enough about the house...I want to go on and on, but in the interest of time, let me leave it at that -- I can't say enough! And renting from Denise -- would do it again in a second!

We really enjoyed our mountain getaway house! Denise was wonderful to deal with and went the extra mile for us for our Thanksgiving holiday! Granby is a great place as it's close to winter park and other ski resorts and several towns for some restaurants… Unfortunately, there wasn't enough snow to ski in Granby, but it was very early in the season. Would recommend the stay here!

We took our 3 daughters (17, 15, 12) on vacation with a primary focus on Rocky Mountain National Park. After exhaustive research of the area, we chose Granby due to all the location advantages and ultimately because of this fantastic home. It's cliche, but it's a masterpiece in design and function. The views are extraordinary, and the pictures don't do it justice. Arriving at this home and getting an opportunity to spend a week was unbelievable. I struggle to find beds that are comfortable on vacations. These were incredible. The kids each had their own room and bathroom to use. The hot tub was a hit and with enviable views! My wife and I appreciated the wood fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, and high-end appliances. I also want to mention the owners' Rick and Denise. They were fantastic! Denise responded within minutes to any questions and gave us several suggestions on places to eat and things to do. She was always available and willing to help! We couldn't have had a better stay! The area is ideal for everything you desire to do in Colorado! We went to RMNP, took ATV's through the mountains in Winter Park, and went to Georgetown and took the famous steam engine train through the historic gold mining areas, and even panned for gold! We will be back, and this will be the only place we’ll stay!

The owners were awesome… gave us recommendations for the area as well as specific instructions for the house! The views are amazing and easy access to hiking and mountain biking. Just bring your sleep mask because it gets light early :)

We really enjoyed the home. It had everything we needed for the two families. The views were absolutely beautiful and the wood burning fireplace as well as the hot tub were great! Our only negative is it being a true “ski-in/ski-out.” We had 5 kids and two adults who aren’t great skiers so to navigate from the house through the woods to reach the slope was definitely challenging. Outside of that, Granby Ranch was a great experience and we enjoyed the mountain! Tim was extremely accommodating when our original flight got canceled and we had to rebook to arrive early, he made it happen and we were so grateful! Lots of movies and games and the Sonos speaker system was a nice bonus!

One of the best homes I've stayed in. Between the radiant heated floors, awesome kitchen, sauna, two washers and dryers, and gorgeous views who could ask for more? My sons were able to ski in and ski out, and I was able to make great meals in the fully equipped kitchen with high end appliances. What struck me the most is the perfect location of the house. No blocked views and sunrises and sunsets to die for. My husband said he would not stay in anything less from now on. Tim was extremely friendly and helpful. What are you waiting for? BOOK NOW!!! I say this and haven't even met Tim in person.

My family had an amazing time at this property. Skied, snowmobiled, enjoyed the scenic views from every room in this gorgeous house. Very accommodating!

This property has an amazing view. Very high end finishes, the owners spared no expense when building the property. The heated floors for radiant heat are great. The kitchen is perfect for making any meal. The only reason I don't give the property 5 stars is that the coffee pot was broken when we got there, along with the steam shower. We managed by making coffee the old fashioned way; furthermore, since I already have a steam shower/sauna at my residence it wasn't a huge deal. The only thing that got my goat, were the numerous times I tried to get ahold of the owner. I contacted him 4 times in total and never once heard back from Tim. Great property but lack luster customer service.

The house was perfect for our family of 7. The views were nothing short of amazing and Tim was responsive with anything we needed. The next time we want to stay in this area this house will be at the top of the list!

Everything about this house and the location is stellar. We enjoyed a four night stay; the house was a wonderful home base for exploration and visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. The house is fully stocked, including a pantry with common items that we really appreciate when renting a home. We felt comfortable and at home from the minute we walked through the door. The beds are comfortable, there are wonderful places for relaxing and enjoying the views. The full house Sonos sound system was a huge plus and we enjoyed it every moment we were in the house. I cannot recommend this special property highly enough!

The home is well appointed. Our group had a fun, relaxing time in the Rockies and on the lakes.

My fiance and I spent three evenings which in the end felt like too short of time. The home was found by pure luck when researching places to stay near the Rockies. It has become our number one choice for future stays. The kitchen is a cook's playground with fully stocked tools including a grill. The only downside of this home is actually a positive... it is a four mile drive up the hill which means it is quiet and the views are spectacular. We had visitors of deer, fox, and countless birds to observe. Glad we feel we didn't get a chance to see even 10% of the area and look forward to our next stay!! Thank you for allowing us to finish our vacation in your home!!

This house is thoughtfully designed for enjoying the stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains with large floor length windows. The kitchen layout and appliances, along with the gas grill on the porch, make it worthwhile to consider staying in for several meals. All the rooms are well setup and comfortable. Being able to listen to music throughout the house on the built-in sonos sound system is a wonderful feature. Tim provided all the information we needed to enjoy our stay and was very responsive to questions during our stay.

Breathtaking mountain views, private, well-appointed, spacious luxury home at the top of Granby mountain. Attention to detail in every aspect of the home. Would love to stay here again. Tubing, snowmobiling and skiing at Winter Park and Granby mountain are highlights. Dinner at Tabernash Tavern is fabulous.

We stayed in this house over Spring Break 2018. It is an amazing home with many high end amenities. Beautiful views of the slopes and valley below through floor to ceiling windows were a constant treat. The spacious rooms have our group of 9 plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The stylish wood burning fireplace kept us warm and cozy. And the chef style kitchen and grill made us want to stay in and cook most nights. The grounds surrounding the property are also great for kids to play in the snow and explore nature. The location is perfect for a ski-in/ski-out vacation. On a quiet street above the hustle and bustle of the Granby Ranch base lodge, you can access the slopes in private. The owners are also fantastic. They were very helpful in advance of the trip with useful information about the house, the skiing and the surrounding area. They were also very responsive and helpful during our stay, genuinely caring that we had a great stay. In summary, you will not find a better place to stay in Granby. If a luxurious mountain home with all the conveniences is what you seek, look no further than this house.
