Beautiful house in the mountain. Quiet, peaceful place, wonderful landscape. The staff is very, very nice and helpful. We had a very good dinner, not spent too much, breakfast is rich. The room is cozy, extremely clean, small but with everything. We slept very well!

Pay attention, the way to go up is an unmade road. It could be difficult for some cars.

Such a nice remote location, great for hiking. Good dorm rooms, fine breakfast but most of all the nicest staff - so smiling and helpful.

The rooms are very clean, but indeed quite small. It wasn't a problem for us because we do not need that much space. The dimension of the room is clearly understandable if you think about the purpose of this location - mountain hut. The place also has a restaurant and pretty much the only option you have in the area, since it is really remote. The location is very picturesque, so if you are looking for a very quiet & remote place in nature, this is it. For the shower, you will receive from the host som e coins and you can take a shower in 4 minutes. Afterwards the hot water will stop in the shower. This was new to us, but we understand the reason, so no complaints about this.

We did not know that this location was a mountain hut, we somehow missed this detail, so it came as a surprise that we had to drive for almost half an hour on an unpaved road.

Cleanest and most comfortable place we've stayed at and the most luxurious hostel/hut in the park. The staff were lovely & helpfil, the food was delicious and the surroundings were beautiful! They let us keep our luggage there while we did a 3-day hiking loop too.

Missing information, how to drive there. If you book an overnight stay, you usually use some vehicle :-) The better way is from Stará Fušina. If you drive from Hotel Center(the other way) it is very bumpy and do not try it without offroad. After reservation on booking we got an e-mail, that the parking is limited and is better to walk ( freaked me out with 2 kids and bags) :-) It is true, but it is possible to drive and park there.

If you are looking for a beautiful landscape, peaceful and warm B&B, this Koča is perfect! Rustical interior with open and welcoming owners will not disappoint! You will get instructions on how and where to park. Just be aware if you are coming from Bled, and if you park on Rudno Polje, you have one-and-a-half-hour light hiking. For us, it was an adventurous and unique experience! 10/10 would recommend it!😁

The place was immaculately clean and the people were wonderfully welcoming. They picked us up at the lake for €20. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was delicious. the linens were new and the beds were very comfortable.

the pillows were too fat. wifi was flakey, but what can you expect up there?

Everything was perfect during our stay at Planinska koca na Uskovnici! The place was beautiful, our room and all the cottage were very cosy and charming, the staff was very nice and recommended us beautiful places to see! Beautiful surroundings! If you like hiking, this is a place for you. About 2-3h from Srednja Vas v Bohinju (you could get there by bus quite easily from Bohinjska Bistrica) by walk, up to the mountain. Quite easy to reach and find. The staff was really friendly and considerate, the room and the facilities were clean and tidy.

Two drunk guys who were staying in the room beside us were really loud up until 1-2AM, and as the walls are made from wood and paper thin, it was a bit annoying.

Good location, quiet area. Nice garden to chill in. A good shower felt great after long trek.

Price of breakfast was not reasonable with quality given.
