Very clean, neat and tidy, comfortable and great quiet location

Shaen St is a trendy little motel that has been completely refurbished. There are only a few rooms and the motel is away from the main road so nice and quiet. The attached cafe is very popular and has great coffee. The rooms are bright, clean and very comfortable with good furnishings and crockery/cutlery. There is also a pod coffee machine in the room. I liked the Australian native toiletries that were full-sized rather than typical motel items. This was one of the rare places I've stayed this trip whose wi-fi worked seamlessly.

Everything was excellent.

Towels Too small and no handtowel and one face washer Entry. Motel cafe' too noisey very early in the morning.

A small motel and located off a main road (thus minimal passing traffic noise at night).

The automatically switched bright light immediately outside our room (rm 2) that precluding having a dark room for sleeping, despite the window blinds. Toaster mechanism jammed on our second morning (last). (We left a note for it to be fixed or replaced).
