Stunning room in Japanese style at a great location in the centre of Oristano. Christian and Sylvana (and Nancy, the turtle) are very very sweet hosts who will definitely make you feel at home, even if there is a bit of a language barrier.

Great location - plenty of street parking, easy to access nearby sights and beaches - and a short walk into town. Incredible home that Silvana shard with guests. Each room is different. We were in the Japanese room - and it definitely had that feel. Love the garden, with the water flowing outside. And great breakfast - ready for guests whenever they want - so makes it a nice and easy start to the day.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi booster wasn’t working so we didn’t have internet access in our room. And the outside garden is lovely- though we couldn’t enjoy because of mosquitoes

The most beautiful room and bathroom, with a hypermodern shower. The owner was very kind, explained about the best restaurants and the town. The breakfast was a selfserve with a lot of sweet stuff. As a dutchy I wouldve loved some savory options but thats only a minor thing.

Noting our room did not have an ensuite bathroom, having a bathroom sink in the open hallway was expecting too much. Towels provided were very small and not enough to dry oneself.

Very cool place! We stayed in the Japanese room, which was nice: you have a private garden where you can enjoy wine and pizza. Easy access to town!

Very nice apartment with a lot of attention to the details in decor! The host are very friendly. One can park for free directly on the main street in front of the house. Self-made cakes were on the table for breakfast, very tasty !

Audibility is very high!! Isolation is zero. We had a room next to the breakfast room (with own external bathroom) and we could hear everything from apartment above, from breakfast room, from neighbour room... This room is definitely not an option for those who has sensitive ears, one needs earplugs! We could not sleep last night there due to snoring person in neighbour room. Maybe the room in the garden has not such audibility, we do not know 🤔

The hosts are amazing so friendly and helpful. This is a one of a kind place ..the three accommodation choices are all so unique and lovingly created..I would recommend all of them..don't be put off by external bathroom..its right outside the bedroom

Two wonderful days in Oristano and in Il Giardino di Chiara. Great hospitality. We booked the "Japanese room" and it was really peaceful. Breakfast was delicious.

Amazing and unusual stay. Definitely recommend it. I imagine it’s the only accommodation of its kind in Sardinia. The hosts were courteous and timely, communication kind of worked with Spanish. The en-suite garden private to the master bedroom is magical and it felt like a real oasis in Oristano’s traffic and heat. Breakfast was great. Definitely try the pizzeria Maghe across the road, it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, so I went twice.

Some things that are unusual but manageable: the garden is private to the master bedroom, but isn’t locked, so other guests sometimes peaked inside. The room itself is lockable but the curtains are a little see-through, so you don’t really have privacy. The toilet is private but in the common area, so you may encounter other guests there, and you can hear everything through the walls. And finally, there were sometimes little ants in the room, mostly harmless, but may be good to know. So be aware, if you can live with these things you will be grateful you visited. If any of these sound uncomfortable, maybe stay elsewhere.

Breakfast was beautiful fruit and little else. I loved the room/cottage and garden - a surprise oasis in the city.

No hot water in the shower

Lovely room and incredibly helpful, friendly hosts that went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room is spacious and stylish, the bathroom absolutely massive. Breakfast was organized to accommodate our intolerances, which was truly kind!

The room is a bit dark as there is no actual window facing outside. Noise travels easily from other rooms, but it's an easy fixed problem. We'd have preferred to have a door on the bathroom.

The water pressure is kind of missing and also be ready that the sound isolation is not good.

The whole house is very nice decorated and have a lot of cute little details. The room was cozy and clean with a nice touch of turntable music. Bathroom clean and organized.

Everything was fine: nice room, bathroom, good communication with the host, very good location (close to the centre of Olbia).

Best of the best! The owners are very hospitality and friendly. One review mentioned the mattress was a bit hard, but for me who does not like the super soft mattress it is perfect (probably the best bed I can find in Sardinia). The rooms are full of thoughtful decorations and details. Breakfast was abundant and the owner helped me to get my lemonade. Although they cannot speak English, it does not prevent our fluent conversation with Google Translator. What a pleasant stay in Oristano. Grazie!

We had the warmest welcome by Christian and even got a welcome drink! The whole property was extremely beautiful, the bathrooms were not inside the bedroom, which didn't bother us though. The way they were designed was very inventive, we were amazed by it's structure. The breakfast was prepared in a very cute, although not quite eco-friendly way. As vegetarians we would't eat the ham sandwiches but the owner was super nice, preparing us some vegetarian ones on request. In general Christian was the best host we could ask for, super friendly, making jokes, conversing in Italian (which we particularly liked) and English. He even called various businesses for us to see if they had a special kind of gas cartridge we needed for our camping stove. All in all we had the best stay, there was nothing to complain about (maybe some vegan breakfast options would have been nice, but that's complaining on another level ;) Kind Regards

Everything was great. The place is absolutely beautiful and the room and bathroom were very big. Every detail was spot on. We had a cocktail when we arrived and the breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend enough. Absolutely perfect.
