The location was near the very convenient Mersey rail which was great for getting around the area without having to use the car

It was like a home from home

The location was fantastic. Easy access from portsunlight station to Liverpool. Port sunlight is also a beautiful place.

Only 1 bathroom made mornings for a big family a bit slow but nothing we couldn’t handle.

The location was quiet and convenient for the trains. The property was excellent, clean, very well equipped and beautifully decorated.

Property was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Just lacked a few essential items.

After driving from Scotland we were looking forward to a nice cuppa, however there was no coffee or milk in the property. Neither was there washing up liquid or hand soap. This is something that we usually expect to find when staying in other places, so obviously this was disappointing particularly when paying £150 per night. I have also just noticed from previous reviews that other guests have also had this issue which has obviously not been rectified. Shame, as little things like this really make the difference between a good stay and a great stay.

The house was spotless and very comfortable

Instructions for the TV

Really comfortable within easy walking distance of the train. Great base for easy access to Liverpool, Chester and Wirral. Port Sunlight itself is also very pretty and well worth a good look around.

We were obviously really stupid and couldn’t work out how to use the TV. Instructions are provided! I have no doubt Stan would have come round and showed us, but we decided it would do us no harm to be without for a short period.

The cottage, location, decor, closeness to shops, train station etc, had a wonderful 2 days wished we could have stayed longer but booked solid and can understand why, :-) will book again without doubt. keep up the good work stan and thank you,

Really clean and well fitted cottage in an excellent location, we'll definitely stay here again.

Stan was really helpful, very quick to respond. We needed extra bed linen for the sofa bed and he brought it round immediately. Great house! Beautiful interior. We loved it!
