I liked that the host kept in contact with me and was very helpful in answering all my queries promptly. I was reassured that there was a person available to help if I needed anything.

There wasn't enough ware and cutlery for the amount of people but otherwise it was good value

train noise

We arrived late as we had travelling from the north east of England. The sheets had midew and stains on both double beds and their was no bedding left for sofa bed. It was too late to check into another hotel with three children. The floors had bits on it the Hoover obviously didn’t work. There as rubbish from previous guests in a couple of drawers. We contacted the smart trip contact that evening by messaging - we and sent pictures of the sheets and floor and the drawer with rubbish in. The next day we received a call of apology and the sheets where changed. The floors still had bits on them as Hoover didn’t work properly. We had travelled for a family surprise party In grays. The location was excellent. But overall our experience was not what we expect from booking.com. I requested a refund for half the stay which is hopefully being processed but we have not received it yet from booking.com but when was told one night and not 40 pound cleaning fee I was not happy. We took our shoes off out of respect for someone else’s property to walk in other peoples dirt/ grit from their shoes. This is not the cleaners it was lack of a good hoover. Also the sponge and cloth in the kitchen was used. In a pandemic that’s not ideal! the cardboard box of the tv was on the balcony had obviously been there ages. The tv was damaged too we sent pictures too do they knew it we like that when we arrived. We were very disappointed. After a 275 mile trip you want a nice clean bed to jump into . The owners are not refunding the cleaning fee as think think that’s unfair as someone had to come with clean sheets .. I would not recommend this apartment in case you have a similar experience to us. We are getting refund for 128 one night .. but it will take 7-12 days .. yet when I paid them it was instant and a deposit of 150 pounds which wasn’t mentioned on the booking. I will not use booking.com again .. be careful when you book. I have learnt my lesson the hard way. x

the property was in a good location and facilities were modern

the toilets were messy, had skin marks and we had to wash them ourselves, the throw pillows stink of sweat.

The apartment was lovely and well equipped. Shame work took us elsewhere but if we do have work in the area again then we will definitely re book there.

How clean it was smelt fresh when my husband and I came we loved it ! The area how close to lakeside:) deffo recommend

The WiFi isn’t the best to even watch the tv watching a film wasn’t the best but over all perfect stay
