The private lake/Goose Pasture Tarn across Rt 9 is for property owners use only and is heavily patrolled by Blue River Marshals - do not fish, swim or boat on the lake. Fishing is allowed in the Blue River that flows along Rt 9 in and north of the town of Breckenridge and licenses may be obtained from City Market.
