The location was excellent very close to the Acropolis and many wonderfull restaurants just around the corner. It was a very quiet location and had outside space to relax

The restaurant facing the bedroom was noisy until around 11pm. The air conditioning did not cool the bedroom as well as the rest of the apartment.

Execllent location. We could walk to all the sights. It was especially great, since we could return to the apartment to take a break from the mid-day heat. It was lovely being half a block away from the center of everything, but also having an oasis of calm to ourselves. The host was very friendly and accommodating of our travel needs. I would highly recommend this place.

AC was in the main hall and did not provide enough cooling to the rooms. August being the hot month, it was difficult to say during the day in the house.

Amazing location, charming apartment, lovely courtyard and roof terrace with fantastic views of Athens and the acropolis. Excellent communication from the owner and we appreciated the recommendations for supermarket and bakery close by.

Small kitchen but as described and perfectly adequate for our needs. We ate out so didn’t need to use it to cook a meal.

The property was perfectly situated close to restaurants, and within a 10 iminute walk to the Acropolis or Monesteraki square.

The rooms were very spacious but the air conditioner was by the front door so we had to let it run for quite a while to reach the bedrooms. Nothing major

We had.a wonderful stay at the Painters House in a very convenient location in Plaka. This was our second stay and would come back again.

Location very convenient for main sites and metro. Balcony and courtyard very relaxing. Old furniture and paintings gave the rooms a proper character.

Noise from restaurants made sleep difficult for my son but may be better if you have a garden facing bedroom (appreciate this is a trade off for central location and would be fine for people without younger kids). We did not get sent details of key collection before arrival and there was a delay in getting hold of host to sort out, which was not a great start, but these things happen.

We were 2 families and rented 2 apartments. Both were great with everything we needed. It’s was so hot in Athens so we loved the air condition and washing machine. The best part was the location and view. You are in the middle of Plaka. You do not need a car if you stay here. Everything is in walking distance. Our teens were able to venture off by themselves and experience this great area. It’s safe, so lively and fun. The view from the little balcony in the executive apartment was stunning. Clear view of the acropolis and at night it’s just unbelievable to see all the lights and this amazing historic landmark right in front of you.

The house is beautiful and clean. The beds were comfortable. The host was responsive and kind. We could not have asked for a better location.

A lovely location in a very cute part of the Plaka - away from the madding crowds, yet still in the bustle. Quirky and cute apartment in a charming old house that has been divided into apartments. Wonderful host and managers - very warm, helpful and hospitable. Nice and cool inside too.

The location was amazing! We walked to absolutely everything we wanted to see in Athens. The hosts kindly let us store our bags both before and long after check-in and check-out, which was a huge perk. We enjoyed complimentary coffee, and the kitchen was well stocked with all needed dishes/utensils/etc. The place was quiet and private despite being in a lively neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

We had three apartments and they were wonderful. Right in the Plaka. Close to everything. On the edge so quiet at night. The courtyard felt private and secure and was a lovely place to sit.

A beautiful property in an amazing location in the heart of Plaka. You can easily walk to everything: market, archeological sites, Anofiotika. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Again great location, cozy,, easy and professional communication and again location, location, location. Very classy, with an enclosed courtyard to have a drink or coffee.

An old family house with a courtyard in the middle of the great Plaka area. An oasis from which you can explore Athens on foot. The fragrance of the jasmin tree upon entering the courtyard is so lovely.

Painter's House is conveniently located in the heart of Plaka, just few steps from Acropolis and many great restaurants around. 10 minutes walk to Monastiraki metro station and Agora. The House has a private courtyard with orange trees where we had a glass of wine in the evening. Great place to stay in Athens!
