Location and hosts Fabiana and Alessandro were awesome.

Palazzo dei Pavoni is located in newly renovated building. The place is charming and perfectly situated in the old town. The hostess Fabiana couldn’t be more helpful, nice and informative, and she made our experience in L’Aquila even more memorable.

Soggiorno straordinario! La dedizione e gentilezza dei proprietari si riflettono in ogni dettaglio. Durante la deliziosa colazione, preparata esclusivamente con prodotti locali, ci hanno guidato alla scoperta di L'Aquila e dintorni, raccontandoci anche la storia della struttura, restaurata mantenendo il fascino dell'epoca. La nostra camera era accogliente con doccia e lavandino a vista. La spa privata, accompagnata da prosecco e aperitivo a base di prodotti locali, ha reso il soggiorno ancora più memorabile! Posizione eccellente, vicino al centro della città a pochi passi da ristoranti, bar e negozi. Un'esperienza da consigliare caldamente!

Palazzo d’epoca finemente ristrutturato, molte delle camere sono affrescate e arredate con mobili e quadri antichi di famiglia. Pulizia superlativa! I proprietari accolgono personalmente gli ospiti la mattina e curano il servizio della colazione, dolce-salata, ricca di prodotti tipici locali. Non mancheranno di spiegarvi con passione e di descrivere e raccontare la loro città e la sua storia con cultura ed amore. Non avremmo potuto essere accolti in maniera migliore per il nostro primo viaggio a l’Aquila, città mozzafiato per arte e cultura (in gran parte finalmente ristrutturata) dove torneremo sicuramente.

Location bellissima,curata in ogni dettaglio,pulitissima ed in posizione centralissima. Alessandro e Fabiana sono due padroni di casa gentili,colti,dialogativi . Hanno fornito informazioni utili sulla città,ma anche sul palazzo dello charme,suggerendo percorsi turistici e dando piena disponibilità a tutti noi . Prima colazione con prodotti di qualità.Acqua,tisane, thè e bollitore Pesenti in ogni stanza e gratuiti. Assolutamente da ritornare. Noi abbiamo prenotato la stanza del capitano,quella del moro e della dama rosa: per la prossima volta fruiremo anche delle coccole della spa. Persino il nostro labrador è stato accolto con generosa apertura. Dieci e lode.

Das Gastgeber-Ehepaar ist sehr nett und hat unendlich viele Tipps für einen Aufenthalt in der Region. Das Frühstück ist super. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Accomodations were excellent in beautifully renovated palace.

Palazzo storico situato a due passi dal centro. Ideale per conoscere il centro senza l’utilizzo della macchina. Struttura pulita ed in ottime condizioni .
L’unica pecca è la mancanza dell’ascensore.

They changed the breakfast to meet my request about having a vegan breakfast. And once I arrived they provided me with all the exciting sights in the city and in nearby cities and provided me with so important details about how to reach there and how I should even be dressed in case of cold weather or slippery roads. If I visit the city again, I will definitely choose this place to stay in.

Great location, a stone's throw away from the city centre. The place has a great vibe, and beautiful, nicely renovated, and spacious rooms. The rooms are very clean. Breakfast was great. The owners are super friendly and know a lot about their city. Therefore, they can tell you the best places to visit in L'Aquila to have a great time. I would definitely visit this place again.

I loved this place in l'aquila. It was so beautifully restored after the earthquake and the room felt so luxurious. The owners were so generous with their knowledge of the area and spent time with us in the mornings to help us plan our day! It was wonderful to be in this inspiring town and see how thoughtfuy the historic buildings had been restored.

The breakfast was traditional Italian with delicious jams, croissants, salami, prociuto, cheese, fruit juice and since we don't drink coffee or tea, they gave us delicious hot chocolate. We stayed in the Camera del Mare which is quite quiet and away from main streets. We liked this room because the bathroom was right in the room. It was very clean -- extremely clean. The owners were so charming and helpful. They gave us lots of helpful hints in getting around.
Had to park about a 5 minute walk from the actual hotel, but we only had back packs. Also lots of stairs to climb getting to our room, but well worth it. You are served breakfast in a private dinning room. They wear gloves serving you and masks. We just stayed one night, but we definitely would come back.

The apartment was absolutely delightful. The welcome from the hosts was exemplary. They could not do enough for us and made us feel very welcome and gave us great insights into how we could maximise our enjoyment of L'Aquila. Breakfast was fantastic

Really lovely hotel in the city center. The absolute best part is the staff... welcoming and really went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our experience. Great breakfast and spa experience as well! We will come and stay again when we return to L'aquila.

Palazzo dei Pavoni is a very quiet place to be and our room was well decorated and cosy.
The shower in the bathroom is very good.
BUT most of all the personnel is very friendly, offering the utmost to make your stay satisfying.
The breakfast is good: salumi, cheeses, warm baked bread, croissants, confitures, butter, cake and tart. We got an Americano and an Espresso as coffee drinkers early in the morning. There was water and orange juice.
We got both a key, very nice if you have different interests (museum, shopping, pallazzi, fontana etc]
The atmosphere was so kind!!!
We loved it and recommend it.
