The room has only one tiny window, so there is no daylight and it’s impossible to get some fresh air in. When I arrived the room had a chlorine smell that, as I was told later, was residue from pest control. So not knowingly, I was forced to breath in toxic chemicals. The entrance door is made of glass. So people outside can easily look inside the apartment if they want to. I felt that I had little privacy, also because I could hear all conversations outside and people on the street could hear conversations indoors.

because of the very nice central location, it was actually quite loud (loud church bells starting from 7am and ringing every 30mins; noisy local neighbors starting phone calls from 8am in front of the room, etc.)

Our host was fantastic! We had a slight confusion with our taxi, and we got dropped off at a different location than Maurizio had suggested. Maurizio was extremely kind, came and found us, and led us to the property for check in. Martina Franca can be a bit of a maze, so that was greatly appreciated! Any information or recommendations we needed, Maurizio was always helpful and quick to respond. He also brought us some unexpected local treats, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This is the first time I stay in a ground floor apartment in Martina Franca, and I especially appreciated not having to climb stairs every time I came home after a long day! Especially with suitcases or groceries! The apartment is well lit, has a good heating/cooling system and really had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. And the location, just off the main central streets of Martina Franca meant that we were 1 minute away from the center of town, yet still in a calm, quiet residential area. Brilliant stay.

In the bathroom it would be nice to have a shelf or other surface to leave toiletries. I also turned off the water pump by accident, and although the host responded immediately with the solution when we were out of water, perhaps that switch (right next to the light switch in the bathroom) could be identified/blocked so that future guests don't make the same mistake.

Simple, spotlessly clean apartment in city centre. Quiet considering the location.

Accommodation was clean, beautiful details in there, kitchen was with everthing you need, bed was comfortable. I liked classic italian atmosphere in fabolous centre, even that during night was silence. To sum up it is so SPECIAL accommodation and not that expensive.

During night and day is really hard to find it because evething look the same. But it was quite adventerous and fun, so I cannot see it as a negative point of view.
