Perfect holiday with the children!

Fantastic, peaceful location. Both chalets we stayed in were spotless and well equipped.

The location. Its green, well maintained and very peaceful. Also, the lady who checked us in, very friendly and well knowledgeable

Spiders all over the property. They should provide Spiders repellent spry, or create an environment inside the property which repell spiders

Lovely place for a restful break

Lovely cottages set in a beautiful location. Clean and comfortable with everything you need including cleaning materials, toilet rolls etc. Very peaceful and natural

Very hot in the cottage but didn't feel safe leaving window open at night. Not sure why, not used to being on ground floor maybe?

We would go again.

Lovely peaceful location with fields and trees around. Close to the coast, although you need a car there ideally.

I would perhaps choose a different bungalow next time.

Nice base of operations for East Sussex - so long as you have a car

It's a lovely setting - one of a number of holiday homes in the grounds of a small manor house. There are some beautiful gardens and landscaping around it. It's a reasonably easy drive into Eastbourne from there, and it is reasonably well positioned for a number of sights in the area (miniature railway, Drusilla's, etc). There are several pubs for food and shops within a few minutes drive - as well as a garden centre with retail outlets.

There is no realistic alternative to having a car there - there is a bus, but it stops about 15 mins walk from the cottages. The location is slightly harder to get to than it originally appears due to nearby dual carriageways.

rooms very good size, kitchen well stocked with utensils. was clean and tidy, but would pay more if it was updated. but no complaints at all. great place to stay

If I need temporary accommodation again in the area, this will be the first place I will go to 🤗

The peace I experienced when I got there. All my stress and worries seemed to shrink. The staff are very friendly and caring ❤️

It was clean, neat and quiet. Excellent for my retreat

A proper small double bed with a chair would have been better than a sofa-bed as the space is big enough. As a whole, I had a comfortable time.

Very bad WiFi. I was staying for work and the WiFi was like touch and go. The login to the network was almost like playing lottery sometimes you were able to see the login website and sometimes was unavailable.

Ghastly

Upon entering there was an awful smell which permeated our clothes. The oven and pans were filthy, the bathroom had mold, everything in the place was minimal and of a very low standard. We left after one night and could not wait to escape. We asked for a refund for the days we decided to abandon but were refused.

Cosy cottage. Reasonably clean. Nice surroundings.

All together a nice relaxing quiet break

Well organised online booking in system with minimal contact which is still a good thing after all the covid problems Keys and welcome letter left inside property

All was fine with the property a very nice level of comfort. the only thing was the pillows were a bit firm, but thats a personal preferance we can always bring our own if we stay again.

The rooms were clean but no reception or vending machine on site.

Made my own breakfast as it changed everyday depending on the day.

They should have an office near the accommodation reception for all the time for check ins and outs.

restful and relaxing in a lovely chalet and location.

safe quiet location. beautiful grounds and views. perfect chalet for an older person with mobility issues. very clean .

the windows did not lock. Despite there being window locks there were no keys. this has an implication for holiday insurance and our valuables. I did mention this during my lady stay in April as well. very disappointed his is not bring addressed.
