The location in Helen was convenient.
The property description on Booking.com could have been much better. I was taking my 82 year old uncle on this trip for very sentimental reasons. Arriving to discover that he would have to climb a flight of stairs to get to/from a bedroom was extremely disappointing (or the alternative was a sofabed, not good). I should have read the Vacasa description which was much more thorough. I also didn't like the price - I paid as much for two nights at Honey Bear Hideaway as I paid for FOUR NIGHTS in a wonderful condo in Gatlinburg. My bad.

It was out of the way without being inconvenient. The property had the amenities that appealed to everyone traveling in the party.
Not enough towels for the maximum number of occupants. We had to wash towels multiple times during a three day stay.

Everything was great! The location is everything, it’s close to downtown but tucked away at the same time. The house was very clean, cozy and loved the decor.

The location was perfect. Very close to the tourist attractions yet with a lot of privacy. Loved that there was seating outside and the grill. There was parking space for more then one car.
An animal kept getting into the trash. Not the properties fault, but we couldn't figure out a way to prevent it. They did have someone come to try to tie down the can better though it didn't work.

The overall feel of the home farmhouse country, with the squeaky stairs and all! The pictures didn't do it justice or description.
The old stairs in the front. Also I wish the description had said it had a gameroom, a grill and three floors.

Everything you need is in this house. Very clean, very beautiful property. Complete kitchen supplies and appliances, board games, lots of bathroom supplies. Rooms are big. Good to have a fire pit during cold weather. We had a very wonderful stay at this place. This place is in good location. Near the center and activities of Helen.
We just hope it has a hot tub. Otherwise it is perfect for our family vacation.

This house has plenty of room, very up-to-date, clean and close to downtown Helen. It is in a beautiful location. We enjoyed every moment.
The beds were very hard. They could use a memory foam topper. The steps are tough on older people, but manageable.
