The property and the room were very clean. The view of the gulf was lovely. The hotel was off the highway but you never felt like it because it was surrounded by trees and felt like a little private escape.

I only wish they pumped some cool water into the pool. I was looking forward to a refreshing dip in the pool in the 100 degree weather but the water was so warm.

We stayed in the Queen Oceanview Suite. Absolutely comfortable, awesome view, great outdoor community area, friendly staff and other visitors, and last but not least, nice dock fishing and wildlife.

The distance from everything is a plus and a negative. That's the only complaint.

Very clean and comfortable room. Front desk agent was wonderful. The grounds had a heated pool, acess to kayaks, hammocks, tetherball, and outside grills for cooking.

The hotel is close to the highway, so you can hear cars late at night which interrupted sleep.

The pool was fantastic and the outdoor shared areas were beautiful. From landscaping to the ocean view, it was so lovely and peaceful. Our room's air conditioning was perfect and beds were very comfortable. Also, this is a great location and close to many restaurants or activities!

Some minor maintenance or room updates would be good. The inside main door latch came off the wall. There was a soft spot in the shower floor like you may fall in. There were pieces broken off in the shower and painted over, but the paint was peeling off. The shower knob also had a piece broken off. The bathroom door doesn't have a lock. The ramp and deck could be updated, as there were weak areas and broken boards. This is a great older hotel and we really just overlooked it's flaws honestly. We would love to come back.

It was quiet and easy to find. We enjoyed the kayaks and fished from their dock. The pool looked nice but we opted for the ocean instead. It wasn't overly crowded even on the busiest day. The iguanas were fun to watch swim. The rooms do have a full kitchenette with stove and dishes pans and everything you would need for a short stay. They have a nice view of the gulf!

Hate to nit pick, but the shower dripped constantly and the walls are paper thin. Their office is on the second floor so if you are disabled that may be a challenge to check in or out etc. We didn't see the famous tortoise :(.

A nice place to stay on the water in Marathon at a very affordable price. The beds were extremely comfortable. A Keurig coffee maker for the morning gives a nice start to the day.

The resort is located right on Highway 1 so the traffic was loud and very noticeable at night

The checking in let me in early Bed was comfortable

The knob in bathroom was missing, dust all over, the refrigerator was so noisy that I had to unplug it. Also no switch on light to turn off light. All of issues with room for basic functionality

An older style property but you couldnt fault the view and the staff were really pleasant. Room was clean and a decent size, older style but just sleeping in there so was more than enough. Great location next to the Dolphin Sanctuary.

used kayak must of had a hole in the back started to take on water out in the ocean no problem got back in time it was probably caused by people dragging it down to the water across the concrete boat launch.
