This is not $280 a night unit. Upon arrival we were confronted with cigarette butts in the garden and a dirty ash tray. When opening the door we were hit with the stench of last nights dinner and a musky Oder. I was frightened to remove my shoes due to the stains on the carpets. The furniture was deshabille and soiled so much so I didn’t want my children to sit on it. After being told the unit was fully air conditioned there was one small unit in the lounge room. There was what appeared to be a animal urine stain in the bedroom. When we pulled the duvet and sheets back there was cat hair in the bed. I contacted the owner who informed me she had not been over to the unit in some time and she was having trouble getting a carpet cleaner or pest control. I requested a refund for our second night to which she told me there was a 7 day cancellation policy and this would not be happening. We processed to heat our meal up when I couldn’t find a baking tray. The kitchen draws were broken and falling apart. I rang again to ask about a baking tray and was told Coles was open till 9 and they sell baking trays. The last straw was when both my children started scratching and we noticed small black insects in the couch. I then rang another motel in town and we left. I returned the following day to get our items from the fridge someone had been into the unit and done a clean. I tried to contact the owner again to express my disappointment with someone coming in with our me knowing, I left a message and have never been contacted again. DON’T STAY at these units they are a disgrace!
