CanJam is such a vibe. Donald, Julie and the whole team really welcomed and took care of us during our time here - fresh tea and coffee in the morning, recommendations, and went above and beyond helping us with day trips and transport. The location is also amazing; a couple minutes from Rick's Cafe, and with some great views and food along the whole strip. If you're staying here definitely check out The Shark for some good ackee and saltfish and fresh juices in the morning and 'Firewater' drink hut for amazing views and a great music selection from Camilla. P.S. Make sure you spend a Thursday night here for the African-Caribbean drumming night and also arrange a trip out with Copeland to guarantee a great day!

Julie, Donald, and all of the staff were amazing and made our stay fantastic. They helped with all our airport transfers and got us around the island for tours. The sanctuary was peaceful and abundant with wildlife to sit and watch, close to local bars, shops, and restaurants. I would recommend a visit here if you're coming to Jamaica. I can't wait to return and see everyone again!

Thank you to Julie and Donald for making our stay comfortable and relaxing. This is a hidden gem, boutique/chic accommodation, home away from home vibes. Coffee/tea in the morning was perfect 👌🏾 We fell in love with Monkey instantly (and he fell in love with my furry slippers 🤣) and as women felt very safe here which is rather important to me when travelling. If you’re looking for a modern boujee spot with hot water and lots of amenities keep it moving!. BUT if you’re looking for a REAL experience of Negril round the west end that’s clean, cosy and comfortable then this place is most definitely for you. Beautiful grounds, flowers, butterflies & humming birds for days.. What else could you possibly want? Relax, kick back and recharge at the CANJAM. Get high off some weed, shrooms or just simply life lol. Ya Mon no problem 💚💛❤️

Loved the Thursday night African drumming jam session happy hour, the onsite bakery, cafe, and bar, and the vibe of the hammock-filled property + the heartfelt owners.

A really beautiful garden! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Monkey the cat is super cute! Lovely rooftop hangout good for yoga and stargazing. Good location, easy to get to beach via route taxi. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

It wasn't always clear what was and wasn't available in terms.of food and activities. The staff were always very helpful when we asked but it could have been helpful to have had a rundown of things when we arrived.

A wonderful place. Herb lovers paradise. Very cool people live and work there. Interesting conversations take place. The garden is amazing, especially if you are stoned. A lot of colubrid and other beautiful flora and fauna. We also experienced live music there and guests from outside coming. If felt like an unfair advantage that they have to organize a ride home and you just jump into your own bed.

One minor thing we pointed the team to. Will most likely be fixed until the next guest comes.

Superb retreat in a garden setting. Very friendly owners and staff. We needed our fridge replaced and got one in minutes with an unnecessarily generous compensation offer.

The yard was amazing! plenty of beautiful birds and butterflies, very peaceful and perfect for yoga, a morning coffee and warm summer nights! the hosts, Julie and Donald were so friendly and caring the whole time. we had a beautiful stay and will definitely come back!

Exactly what you see in the photos, which says a lot, bc we stayed at other places while on this trip to Jamaica, that were very misleading. The vibes at CanJam were very chill, and relaxing. We were able to park our car on the property, which was nice. we only needed the car when going into the center of town, other than that, we walked. Tons of great restaurants, and bars all along the road…including the infamous Rick’s Cafe. Julie, Donald, Flo, and Clara were all super sweet, hospitable, and made sure our stay was perfect from beginning to end.

Water pressure/temp was low, but we managed.

The location, the staff, the room, the gardens, the price - all really good. We booked this "blind", not even knowing whereabouts in Negril it was. Booked in for two nights at the begining of our trip and ended up staying for 12 !!! Especially appreciated the coffee in the morning whist watching humming birds. The tranquility of the location suited us perfectly. We would certainly stay again. Thank you to Donald, Julie and Flo for making us feel so welcome.

The only issue for some might be the lack of hot water but the owner informs me that this is being rectified and it didn't really bother us.

The location was perfect as it relates to the event I had booked. Julia was very welcoming and great customer service. The location was very peaceful it felt as thou I was home with a backyard.

It was a chill, peaceful and quiet environment. We loved chilling on the rooftop gazebo at night! Perfect place to smoke and stargaze! The owners were very sweet, even brought us fresh coffee in the morning!
