NOTHING!!!

The property owner never let me in for check-in, although I rang the bell repeatedly. Check-In time was 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. I arrived at 5:50 p.m. (needed the room for lodging while I was in Queens, NY for a family funeral). When I contacted Booking.com, I was refused help as the property owner refuses to refund my $251.99. This was NO FAULT OF MY OWN. I'm emailing the property owner, and hope for a decent resolution per my attorney's suggestion. If not, I'll proceed with whatever legal action is necessary. I'm a senior citizen, and expected booking.com to provide a safe, convenient place for me as promised. In my case, I didn't even get what I paid for.

Unbeatable Value. Free parking. Clean, comfortable place to sleep.

Bathroom needs a little tlc. Noisy a/c. Not the best location.

the house as a whole wasn’t clean. the room I rented was okay but the stairs/hall, bathroom and kitchen were very unclean

Our bedroom was quite clean and the linens and towels were fresh.

Nowhere in the description did it say it was a shared bathroom. The rest of that areas that were in, the entry, the stairway, the bathroom we're not clean and had lots of accumulated dirt.

We had very little interaction with the residents, they were hardly there when we were, or were in their rooms. When we did they were polite. Close by public transportion and reasonable priced reausturents nearby was a big plus. The room and bathroom were small, but clean and well kept. A nice touch was a small refrigerator in our room.

Miss communication about our check in. I had to call/text to get final check in as it was not communicated clearly on arrival day.

The bed was comfortable. The location is what we wanted so we could drive to a subway station and go to Manhattan without much driving. Much cheaper than a hotel. There was street parking available. We used our disney plus account to watch some shows.

The house was full of strong air freshener smells and strong food smells both of which did not appeal me. The bathroom was difficult to use with no open space to put my own stuff and no place to hang a towel. The curtain rod fell down when I tried to use it to hang my towel. Nice tv but we had to use our own account to watch internet tv, and there was no place to recharge the remote, which ran out of battery before our 3 day visit was over.

The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice towels provided too.

Contact with the host was not reliable. Before my arrival, I had received no instructions about how to get into the house or what to do to check in. When I contacted the host on the day of my arrival, and tried calling several times, the host did not answer his/her phone. He/she responded to some of my messages but only some. I actually never met the host. They mentioned keys would be in the mailbox but never answered the phone or the door bell. This could have been a real problem had I not messaged them beforehand and gone to the property (no one answering the door). It would have been a problem also if I had any emergencies. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

I was unaware that we wouldn't be the only people staying. The door couldn't be locked on the inside to keep other people out. When I checked in I received a set of keys with 3 keys one to the front door, one to the room, and one to the other door. So did the other people have a key to our room?!? My husband and I did not stay here after the first night. Other people may not have an issue with this but I did. Maybe if there was more details in the description I would have known better.

Very helpful host. Landed in Canada and found the place very easily from the Pearson airport. Very good location. Free parking. Very pleased with the room. 5*.

Host was extremely accommodating and kind. She provided everything we could have possibly needed. One of the best stays in NYC.. I highly recommend 😊
