This place is a gem right in the city center. It’s a beautifully restored old building with lots of charm. The room was huge with a large bathroom and very comfortable amenities. There is a well equipped kitchen and lovely terrace. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come back.

Location, beautiful antique architecture, thoughtfully designed interior, staff are friendly and super helpful if you have questions, hostel is IMPECCABLY clean and eco-conscious. Tbh, I planned to stay here just a day or 2 as a stopover, but I extended for about a week because it was so good.

Almost all of the staff speaks English. I like that they are taking their part in conserving water. You can feel the scarcity of water in most of the washroom of the museums in SLP, but Iturbide500's washroom are clean. Towels and sheets are very clean and crisp.

There is nothing not to like about Iturbide500. Location is just literally a minute away from the cathedral. Staffs are all super friendly and informative. The heritage building is very well kept.

Really nice building & location. Only stayed one night but was safe, clean, relaxing & the staff were great... plus there was breakfast included, nothing special but toast, cereal, fruit & coffee.

Super friendly staff, they accepted our request for late check in late at night. The atmosphere, the location, the breakfast, the rooms, common areas, everything is perfect, one of the best hostels I have slept in my life.

The cleanest place that i've stayed whole around the world. Fully equiped kitchen, comfy bed and shower. Calm, peaceful atmosphere, historical soul in decoration. Perfect location, at the very center of town. Super nice people❤️ Highly recommended!

everything was perfect!

The place is newly remodeled and the decorations are very nice with lots of lovely plants. Overall, it's a great place to stay with an awesome location right in the heart of the downtown, plus, it's clean and the staff is very nice too. Please note that the check-in closes at 11:00pm. You may still check-in after that time, however, you have to pay a 50 pesos fee, which they notified me in advance.

They didn't offer an alternative to milk (I don't drink milk), but I also didn't ask for an alternative.

They are not flexible with check-out time at 11am. They did not let me have a quick shower at 11.25am, otherwise i had to pay another night when the hostel was pretty empty, where i was the only one in the room with 12 beds. This is not hospitality nowadays. Small things make the difference.

The location was incredible, staff was very friendly and helpful. The host walked us himself to the parking garage a few blocks away to help us with the car, and helped us with the TV at 9PM, above and beyond hospitality. There was hot coffee and juice, cereal and fruit provided in the morning. We booked the private room and it is extremely large and the bed was very comfortable, feels like less of a hostel and more like a nice boutique hotel. Can't wait to go back.

Nothing bad to say, really an overall great stay.

The location could not be better. The building itself is an important colonial house with many original features - high ceilings, exposed beams, beautifully carved stonework. As a hostel, the value proposition couldn't be better. And a level of professionalism from management and staff above and beyond the norm. The double room they've got and adjoining bathroom is spacious and the balconies seal the deal.

As a hostel, there's not much to dislike... the best I can come up with is I thought some of the light fittings clashed with the vibe of the building. Pretty trivial really.
