Everything very good, very attentive to us breakfast was cooked just right and room was very clean!
There wasn't anything to not like apart from the weather which was wet most of the time and that's not anything they could do about that

Close to harbour and coast path; nice and clean; comfortable bed; delicious breakfast; very friendly and helpful hosts. They were so nice and flexible to accommodate my arriving late

Maz et Simon sont tout simplement parfaits. Ils sont super accueillant et disponible. Ils nous ont référé de magnifiques endroits à visiter ainsi que de délicieux restaurants. Et que dire de leur B&B, l’emplacement est unique et la chambre est très confortable et propre. Un séjour idyllique de 3 nuits. Merci!!!

Erg fijne locatie midden in het dorp. Ontbijt was goed en lekker. Onze kamer was ruim maar was buiten de cottage, boven in de tuin en bereikbaar via een aantal trappen. Dit was een behoorlijke work out. Simon en Maz waren fijne gastheer/gastvrouw.

Maz and Simon are excellent hosts and they are what makes this place worth a stay. The village is beautiful and very easy to move around. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this is your place!

Location was excellent in the lovely harbour town of Polperro. Breakfast was wonderful for us and a nice touch every morning for our dog who received a sausage as a treat.
Room was spacious, dog friendly and clean.
Local restaurants, pubs were recommended by the hosts.
Plenty of coastal walks from the village but also a great location to drive to other local towns.
Would recommend this accommodation to other pet owners and young couples!

Lovely hosts, quirky & comfortable place if a bit dated. Excellent breakfasts with homemade jams & lemon curd.
The street outside was a bit noisy (delivery & utility vehicles from 6am) - not the B&Bs fault, but just something to be aware of.

wonderful breakfast! Maz is a fantastic chef. Maz and Simon were so welcoming, friendly and great sense of humour. made us feel “at home” even going out of their way to provide everything we needed for our vegan breakfast. So thoughtful there was even a vegan doggie bag for our dog as well as a vegan sausage for her breakfast!
Stairs are pretty narrow and steep but it is a very old property.

We loved the hosts and their dog. The accommodation was very clean and cosy and the breakfast was superb and very generous. The cottage is in a central location in Polperro from where it is possible to walk to the harbour, pubs, coastal walks, galleries and cafes.

The welcome from our hosts was very good. Our room was comforable, and the breakfast was excellent.
The location of the establishement gives you very good access to the quirky town, and also to the car park up the hill where you are obliged to leave your car. There is no room anywhere else!

The hosts were very friendly. They made us feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They kept in contact prior to our arrival, and greeted us when arrived. A real bonus was parking, and they welcomed our two dogs. Even they were given little treats and a sausage breakfast. The location was perfect, the room was cosy and comfy, and breakfast was delicious.
The shower had low pressure, but it didn't cause us much worry.

Warm and cozy stay. Lovely proprietors. Lovely spacious room with nice facilities - although didnot spend too much time there. Easy walk to lovely coastal scenic views and pubs.

Being a dog friendly place to stay is exactly what we needed..... The owners are amazing... Friendly, good laugh and were so accommodating for everything we asked for... Cannot recommend enough 🔥🔥🔥

Maz and Simon where great hosts and so friendly. The breakfast each morning was delicious and there was a great variety, it kept me full for the day. Would definitely recommend staying here. If you wanted to stay in there were games, books etc. Lovely couple, lovely cottage.
The downside was the power of the shower.

Everything to our arrival was perfect. Welcome is awesome. Good is out of this world. Awesome. Max/ Simon are great people , and had to leave out early one morning and there was a care package ready for us to take into car. We are coming back to stay.

Loved how friendly, welcoming and relaxed the hosts were. Range of breakfast options was wonderful, as was the presentation and taste, with the finest local produce - the eggs were particularly outstanding. Ideally positioned for exploring Polperro.
Really nothing to fault. The only thing we could possibly think of to suggest would be adding a bit of low background music at breakfast, as it’s otherwise very quiet - could just be our preference though.

Lovely breakfast, cottage was in superb location in the centre of village. Hosts were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend the Cottage for a short break if you are staying in Polperro.
