Clean room. Renovations happening. Heater: AC worked well. Quiet. Plenty of hot water in a clean bathroom. Fresh clean smelling room.

Shower floor like a skating rink and no grip. No water glasses in room. Only 2 pillows on double bed. Lamps not yet installed. Sketchy guests. Husband has a walker and asked way in advance for main floor but had to navigate a long staircase. Restaurants not easy access for after dark arrival and husband with a walker or even for my fit active self to want to search for after dark on out of the street.

Room was clean. The young man who worked the window was very accommodating.

There was no comforter on the bed which made me feel cold all night. The heater/ ac unit didn't work so therefore I couldn't keep the room warm thru the night. When I initially entered the room it was over powered with fresher and I didn't like that there was no bathtub available in any of the rooms but website offered it.

They stole my refund my bank even told me it was a charged payment and I never received my refund back I'm sure I'm not the only one that has been robbed by them before... Other than that there was roaches in the room but I didn't mind I've grown up with them being in mine or child hood friends homes so I'm used to that. But being a business I wouldn't say that is okay at all.. and due to the fact that they robbed me I will never choose them at this location again.

The staff were amazing! Madu went above and beyond to ensure our stay went well! The location was perfect as we were going on a cruise. The room was very clean. The area was impressively quiet. There was even a little convenient store barely a block away!

It's not that I have things I didn't like, this is a budget motel. The building seems older, but they are actively working to improve. The maintenance staff were working on things the entire time we were there. We stayed there the night before our cruise and the night we came back. We were given the same room both times and I am pretty sure in the 9 days between our stay that the room was re-painted! The room was on the smaller side, but that we expected and it was all we needed. This is a budget motel, if you are expecting a 5 star hotel this isn't the place for you. I forgot to take pictures until after I had stripped the bed while we were checking out. But you still get the idea.

The location was quite close to the port of our cruise ship

I've never been to a hotel with no refrigerator and no ice. My wife has diabetes and must keep her insulin cool. We had to plead with the desk clerk for ice. He (the desk clerk) was indifferent to our needs. He finally relented and summoned his boss who gave us a plastic bag of ice which melted and got water all over. He wrote the password to the wi-fi incorrectly and then acted like I was an idiot (I work in IT).

Small room but clean and comfortable for one night before we left on a cruise. Very nice owner helped us find a taxi in the morning to get us where we needed to go.

No elevator to the second floor.

Madu was very nice. He made me feel at home, while I was there. I'm going to recommend this Motel 6 to all my friends.

The location was great. Room was comfortable enough to stay one night.

The bathroom was very small and the door was distorted due to water, I would assume. It almost looked swollen and had a hole in it. When I arrived, there was a cockroach in the bathroom. There was also no outlet in the bathroom. Something they don’t mention is there is not private parking. Must park on street.

Booking was a cinch...location perfect for the harbor activities I attended....very clean n quiet ,.. served my demands being just the right place I will return.

I really like the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room.

I didn't like the fact that I had to park on the street but it was not that bad.

It had a bed

There wasn't any pool. My wife with a hurt spine had to walk up stairs just to get into the motel. There wasn't any parking for customer had to park down the street on the street. The bathroom was small where the door would hit the sink the view from window was a neighbors private yard. The first room stink and so did the second one but it was the last one on bottom floor pretty much ruin the trip. Because there was no refund able to even cancel. To go somewhere else to stay which we would rather of done. Would like something return to else or something. We will never stay there again or referral them

To little parking. My husband and I had to park maybe a block and half away from the location. On top of that it was really late and we didn't see a sign about parking between of certain hours and got a citation for $73.00 . They only had travel size bar soaps, no shampoo.

To provide context, I am considered legally blind. I’m completely blind in my right eye and severely visually impaired in my left eye, and I do utilize a white cane. Therefore, I tend to reserve the accessible rooms, as I feel much safer and a bit more comfortable in such rooms. Unfortunately, the motel led me to feel pressured to give up my room to another guest, an alleged disabled veteran. Now, to clarify, I have every bit of respect for our veterans of the armed forces. However, this “disabled” veteran did not give me the impression that he was actually legitimately disabled, from first impression - at least in the physical sense. (Admittedly, veterans do tend to suffer from PTSD, so I could understand that he may be such an individual, and so I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt that his disability is more neurological than physical.) However, I still ended up paying the same nightly rate (despite the room change), only for this veteran — and his spouse — to, according to the motel, cancel their new room and leave two hours after they took the room from me. This is unethical, to say things conservatively. All these developments are part of several reasons - the others being that I had already visited the USS Iowa museum later that weekend, as planned, and I had spent a bit more than I’d liked on food and souvenirs - to me deciding it was wise to check out early. Overall, this was a somewhat disappointing stay, with some questionable decisions made for all parties involved, although the free water bottles, beers, and coffee made up for the initial incident to a degree.
