Die absolut ruhige Lage des ehemaligen Schlosses im dörflichen Würzburger Stadtteil Rottenbauer. Zur Stadt sind es mit dem Auto gut 10 Minuten (B19). Die alte Bausubstanz ist sehr gut erhalten und bildet eine perfekte Basis für modern ausgestattete Wohnräume, die zum Teil als Grimm’s Apartments (unseres Bestand aus Schlafzimmer mit Boxspringbett und Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch) genutzt werden. Bei den hohen Temperaturen waren die IKEA-Einziehdecken im Schlafzimmer eine Erholung.

„Klagen auf hohem Niveau“: Es gab leider keine Kofferböcke zur Ablage, die Ausstattung der Pantryküche wirkte etwas lieblos zusammengestellt (keine Papierrolle, Löcher in einem der Geschirrtücher). Auch die Kratzer an den Türen und auf der Tischplatte entsprachen nicht dem sonstigen Standard. Die Flüssigseife (Honig) im Bad gefällt sicher nicht jedem.

Großartige Unterkunft!!!!! Mit Wohlfühlgarantie. Die Inhaber haben viel Feingefühl und Geschmack bei der Einrichtung dieses kleinen Juwels walten lassen. Perfekte Ruhe mit sehr guter Abdunklung (ist mir immer sehr wichtig). Würzburg nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Man kommt überall schnell hin, besonders zu den umliegenden Weindörfen mit ihren schönen Restaurants. Ich kann diese Unterkunft allerwärmstens empfehlen. Von der Schlüsselübergabe, welche zeitunabhängig geschah bis zum Auschecken: Toll!

Im großen und ganzen war es sehr sauber und Schön eingerichtet.

The spacious apartment.

There were no restaurants or cafes locally, so we had to drive to go out.

The apartment was lovely, nice decor, comfortable and overall well equipped. A washing machine and dryer at the end of the corridor was a real plus. There are no administrative staff on site, but the phone and email service was helpful and prompt at all times. The location is quite far out of Würzburg but it‘s a ten minute walk to a tram that takes you right in to the centre.

It isn’t that easy to check in to the property. There are locked boxes outside but putting in the key code is fiddly and in my case the wrong key was in the box to which I had the code! The list of hotels provided in the apartment really needs to include Ristorante da Ricci which is a minute‘s walk away!!! Lovely little place. There‘s a good bakery too right on the doorstep and it’s even open on Sunday!

Great location for getting into Würzburg, the station is a short walk away. A stylish hotel room with a Grimms fairytale decor. Modern fit out. The Italian restaurant around the corner is recommended (closed Mondays) otherwise other Würzburg suburbs are an easy distance. I would recommend this room.

The website gave to understand that there was a washing machine and an iron in the room. This is not so - there's a laundry at the end of the corridor with a washing machine and a drier, no iron. The bed is very bouncy, with lots of partner disturbance.
