the apartment decor was very high speck and modern and spotless , close to town quiet street would definitely go again.
we had issues with the heating waited 2 hours after turning it on and still no heating. Had to phone the owner, they controlled the heating from their end which was set for 2 hours 6.30 am to 8.30am 5.30pm to 7.30pm which is not enough in October so had to boost it every morning on the boiler and go back to bed till it heated up not ideal and not too much to ask for a warm place when you pay to stay just glad it wasn't snowing

The furniture and fixtures were good and of a high quality. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and generally well equipped.
I would have liked larger towels, there were no bath mats for the bathroom floors and some of the lighting could be better.

This place is an amazing home. The place was spotless clean, it was cozy, had everything u need for a break away it was like home from home. Dedicated parking space, it was a quiet area, easy to find, just a 10/15min walk from town. Mary Ann is a great host, she messaged with the code access for the lock box 2 days before we arrived so there was no hassle on getting keys.
There wasn't anything to dislike.

The apartment was well set out, in a quiet area & most things were in walking distance. Maryanne was very quick at responding to messages & the welcome brochure told us everything we needed to know.
We had to wash all the cutlery & crockery before we used it as the previous tenants hadn't cleaned them properly.

Really clear instruction booklet, with great pictures. There was an issue with the electricity which was sorted immediately and the faulty toaster which caused the issue was replaced straight away. Brilliant management, thank you!
Not enough crockery, glasses and cutlery. Only 4 of everything (except mugs which there were only 2 initially). I did try and give it a good scrub but could still do with a bit of attention. Only 1 sofa which not a problem for the 2 of us, however, had there been 4 adults we would have struggled.

it was so cosy and homely … such a beautiful apartment and was very clean… I could easily live there … location was perfect … I would definitely recommend this and will be definitely coming back too stay here … could easily live there …

The property is modern and well lit in the common areas.Easy access to the Highway out of Kirkcaldy. Free parking available parking is an asset. Is walking distance to an ASDA super mart and a Fish and chip store.
Oven and oven utensils should have been cleaned and degreased for new occupants, was left greasy by previous occupants.
Cutlery and crockery could be more ample.
Sofa is too soft and uncomfortable.
Lighting in the bedrooms could be better.

it was the perfect base for exploring the local area and researching family history. Nice and easy to return to each evening and be warm and comfortable and have enough space. Beds were super comfy with nice fresh linen. Never did manage to work out how to use the cooker/hob - but I know Lucy would have been super helpful if we had asked!

2 bedroom suites
Can’t do any cooking coz as all Teflon cookwares coatings are scratched and chips off. The washing machine detergent tray is disgusting dirty with lots of moles. The big bathroom shower water flow is very weak. All windows including bedrooms are blind curtains so no light blocking in the rooms. The master bed is too soft to sleep well.

As an apartment we didn’t do breakfast as we were off to the 150th St Andrews Open,we couldn’t get anything with a sensible price (even a premier inn near to St Andrews. My 18 year old last year got tickets from the Hole in one ballot so we didn’t want to disappoint. He’s an apprentice green keeper and we are just normal folks so the prices went out the roof)found this apartment and it was clean beds really really comfortable

Apartment was smart, well decorated, modern, very comfortable & spotlessly clean & suited our needs - we were travelling as a family - 3 adults - it was great to have 2 bathrooms. The location is a little bit out of Town (about 20mins walk), but there were 3 pubs nearby, one serving food, a lovely Italian restaurant & some fish & chip places & a Chinese takeaway. There's also Aldi & NISA just up the road. The beach & RavensCraig park are just 10 mins away down the hill. We had a fabulous week - weather was great & we did a lot of walking. Dysart Harbour is nearby & is lovely and we also walked to Kinghorn, along the Fife coastal path - seen & heard the seals & had a lovely lunch. We also visited Perth & Inverkeithing/North Queensferry. Kirkcaldy itself has a lovely promenade & some good pubs/restaurants, a theatre & a Gallery (tho' we didn't get a chance to visit this time). Would definitely recommend & we hope to come back & do all the things we didn't have time to do this time around.
