The apartment was centrally located and had plenty of space but sadly all the other negative features override any benefit.

Sadly there is a very long list of disappointing experiences with this apartment. Perhaps the most front of mind was the terrible smell. The apartment has no fresh air or windows to open. It was really hot inside (and only 17 degrees outside) and no way to cool it down except for a couple of fans. On arrival the smell was so bad (think stale smoke and wet dog!) I had to go out and purchase an air freshener. The couch was so dirty (and smelt too) that it was covered in parts by throws. The other really rather icky aspect was the bathroom - the mat at the foot of the shower was soaking wet (why?) and the shower head had not been cleaned (probably since it was installed) so the water dripped out on one side. The teatowel in the kitchen has big stains all over it and didn't smell fresh and there was no cloth to wipe down the kitchen bench. Really the apartment looked like it just needed a really deep clean on every surface. It would have been nice to have a power point that allows you to see in a mirror - I dried my hair in front of a switched off TV as there was no-where else I could see what I was doing. All in all I just felt dirty every time I stepped in to the apartment. I wouldn't recommend or come back.

The fact that it had 2 television sets meant my daughter could watch TV at the reception while I watched something else. Also, the electric iron and board ensured I did not have to bother about rough clothes and made packing easy for me. Furthermore, the apartment is very spacious with enough natural lighting. This made it lovely and homely for me.

Out of the 3 nights booked, the WiFi did not work for 2 nights. The first thing, I did not like was knowing who to contact to complain to. I called 3 different numbers but none picked. When I sent a text, I did not get a response until after about an hour or 2. No one communicated with me; I only got update when I either called or texted which is not customer-centric especially considering that the alternative was not also okay. Even thou, I was not traveling for work, this spoilt the fun as my daughter could not watch her favorite programmes again on YouTube. My wife had to also use her mobile Hotspot for her meetings which was not reliable. I could not plan as I kept thinking, the challenge will be resolved soonest. If the host had kept us updated, my wife would have probably gone to the university to use the Uni WiFi. WiFi is a major consideration when booking an Airbnb. Host should try and be accessible & not incommunicado. Personally, If everything is okay, why should I call the host? I totally understand that some circumstances can be beyond our control, but communicating shows you care about the people while not communicating demonstrates lack of empathy & may even leave doubt that you are trying to resolve the issue in the first place. This is an honest feedback and please note that I am not trying to make the host look bad. If need arises in the future, I will still book the same apartment. Thank you.

The flat is very tatty, although clean. the bathroom similar, electric show, not very strong. the bed wasn't particularly comfortable.

This property is in a great little spot with convenient shops nearby. I liked that we had access to a secure car park. Its definitely spacious with a nice open plan. Great for cosy nights in with the TV. good amount of storage, and a nice modern design.

the place was nice for a short stay, but noticed some things as the days went on. Attempted to cook but very limited on kitchen equipment. Was not clean to a great standard, we found hair everywhere and the dishes were dirty in the cupboard. We also found a half empty drink from the previous people left on the windowsill. The bathrug also had not been washed. The mattress on the bed was very springy and uncomfortable so actually resorted to the pull out sofa, however this is also falling apart too. The pull out bed is still functioning but inconvenient. The electric fireplace thing was also not working.
