This property is incredibly beautiful! Our kids loved exploring the backyard and playing pool

Great beds and very peaceful

My family loves outside but they were still cleaning up the backyard from all the rain and storms they were experiencing. The swing had broke, only one hammock, piles of limbs BUT the hot tub and firepit and grill were wonderful! Plenty of space for all 12 of us. Kitchen was large enough for several to work at the same time. My family loved the many large stumps around property and finding banana slugs, salamanders.

This house is awesome. It had plenty of space for 13 of us, comfortably. Between the jacuzzi, pool, sitting on the hill, and hiking nearby, there was no shortage of stuff to do. Katie was a great and responsive host. She helped make sure our stay was perfect.

We had 18 people total and it was absolutely awesome! The house has plenty to do inside and out. Rooms were split up nicely. The heat went off during the stay but they fixed it fairly quickly.

Great home and great location to explore from!! Has everything you would need for a family vacation!

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and equipped with anything you might need. We used all seven bedrooms and each was unique and comfortable. We loved the detached guest house. Look forward to returning for our next big family gathering.

Ten years ago, Our son fell in love with a Eureka native girl. Their wedding was here where love first began. This vrbo was quiet, and just beautiful. It was a ways from everything since family lived in Eureka and the venue was at Bear Creek Casino. But oh to come back to a beautiful place to unwind by the campfire was awesome. We didn’t use the hot tub. There was an issue with the water. But the communication with the property manager was great. Thank you for this beautiful home. We had a blast at the wedding and enjoyed this vrbo so much. Positive feedback for sure. We will be back and will keep this place in mind. Aloha and Mahalo 🌻

This is a beautiful property. It’s very well equipped. They’ve gone the extra mile to make this a very memorable stay. Everyone loved it - adults, kids, dogs. It actually has three bathrooms (advertised with two when we rented).

The property is great! However, there was a bunch of chipmunks living in the kitchen cabinets. Not much of a nuisance except there were a couple cabinets with droppings in them. Other than that, our stay was fantastic.

This spot was absolute perfection. We cooked large meals in the beautiful kitchen, watched the fog roll in over the golf course, and sat in the hot tub nearly every night. Everything was clean, comfortable, and modern and I really hope we can make another trip in the future!

We loved almost everything about this house, but property manager has been informed that she needs a new cleaning crew! The house is in a beautiful, private setting with plenty of room for our group of 10+. Lovely outdoor areas where everyone can spread out. Convenient to Arcata and the 101.

It was a lovely house in a beautiful area, and a very relaxing time for the whole family. There was nothing we needed that was lacking other than a cheese grater. But we bought one and left at the house 😁

We had family flying and driving from across the country. This house was wonderful for giving each couple a space, the kids took over the game room, the little kids loved the outdoors, everyone enjoyed the products of the well stocked kitchen. It’s centrally located for day trips up and down the coast, yet just far enough out of town to be peaceful and quiet. It was a great family reunion in a wonderful setting. We will be back.

This property easily accommodated our large family gathering and provided plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen was absolutely wonderful and the older kids really enjoyed the game room! The Katie and Jon were very easy to communicate with and incredibly helpful! A printed list on how to work the technology in the house would be helpful, but other than that we had a great time and very much appreciated use of the home!

Overall, our family really enjoyed the stay at this property. The check in process was easy, the house was very clean, and the owner was very responsive to our questions. I believe the house had been remodeled and it looked great. We had 3 generations gathered at the house and there were plenty of room for the 12 of us (we didn't need to use all the rooms). The property sits on a large plot of land and had a huge backyard with ample room for the kids to run around. We enjoyed the outdoor patio when it wasn't raining although it would have been great if there was a covered area for us to enjoy the outdoor area (and the lovely ambience) even when it was raining, while we BBQ or while the kids are in the hot tub. Each room had a TV and there were nice finishing touches throughout the house that makes it great for gathering. Our family spent a lot of together time around the living room/kitchen/heated sun porch because the open floor plan allows everyone to interact without feeling cramped. The kids took advantage of the game room and were able to entertain themselves downstairs for the most part. The only unfortunate thing was they weren't able watch movies in the game room (to the adults' disappointment because we were really hoping to "sequester" them downstairs for 1-2 hours at a time) because for some reason the streaming service wasn't working on the TV downstairs. Minor inconvenience. All in all, this property made the family gathering much more comfortable, especially since the weather was crappy for most of the trip and we ended up staying indoors more than we had originally planned. The location was good (about 10 mins from town in a quiet neighborhood) and we were close enough to the attraction we wanted to check out (1 hr to the Trees of Mystery). If we come back to the Redwoods, we would definitely consider staying here again!

Wonderful property with lots of room for various activities. The house was clean and the owners attentive to our questions. Very accommodating. We loved our stay here and would love to do it again!

Beautiful home in a perfect location. Close to hiking, beaches, breweries and lots more. Tons of room for the whole family. You can tell the owners take pride in this home. Every detail has been thought of for a comfortable stay.
