Awesome house with plenty for our little kids to do. Great space that we shared with another family for a weekend. Deck and views are amazing and you are close to Smoky Mnt park entrance. A lot quieter than staying in Gatlinburg.

I recently booked this cabin and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The first thing that struck me was the immense space - it felt like a private retreat nestled in nature's embrace. The views were simply breathtaking, offering a panoramic vista that left me speechless. The comfort of the cabin was top-notch. Every corner was thoughtfully designed for relaxation and tranquility. The furnishings were not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly cozy. I felt like I was wrapped in a warm hug from the moment I stepped in. One of the standout features of this cabin was its strategic location. Being just a short 30-minute drive from several attractions, it struck the perfect balance between seclusion and accessibility. This meant that I could easily explore nearby points of interest while still enjoying the serenity of the cabin's surroundings. All in all, my stay at this VRBO cabin was nothing short of magical. It provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, offering a spacious sanctuary with unparalleled views and a level of comfort that was second to none. I can't wait to return for another dose of nature's beauty and the cabin's warm embrace. Highly recommended!

The mountain view is what brought us in, and it’s so much better in person! The grocery store is about a 15 minute drive and restaurants and activities in Gatlinburg are about a 30 min drive so everything is pretty close. The house had plenty of space for all 12 of us, and the projector and karaoke machine downstairs made movie nights a blast! We did see bears in the yard 2 of the days, and there was one in the driveway while we were packing up the cars so just be aware of your surroundings. Overall this cabin was perfect for us and we will definitely book here again the next time we vacation in Tennessee.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Gatlinburg, Tennessee! They were very accommodating, the house was perfect for two families with four kids total. The kids LOVED the game room. The space was perfect for cooking all of our own meals. The owner was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Would recommend!

I can’t find the words to describe the beauty of this property. Everything described in the listing is correct and beyond. My experience with Robin was top of the notch. I dropped the coffee pot accidentally and she told me not to worry about it even when I offered to replace it. That meant a lot. We had several bear visits at the cabin and that was an amazing experience for us. I would definitely rent again this cabin.

We had the most wonderful stay. My family and I spent memorial weekend in Gatlinburg and i would absolutely rebook. The view alone was worth it, let alone a very clean cozy and comfortable stay. Thank you very much for opening your home to us. We will definitely be back!

The house itself is incredible. So many things to do for people of all ages. A great getaway in the mountains.

My family and I stayed here, and we just couldn't have loved it more!! Robin has thoughtfully included any and everything you might need while you're in the mountains! Check-in was so easy, and check-out was even easier. We've stayed places before where there were quite a few things the guests were expected to do prior to leaving, but not here!! I messaged Robin just to make sure we didn't need to strip the beds, etc... and she replied, "Not at all - my team will take care of that." The views were magnificent, and it felt like we were the only people around. The furniture/beds were extremely comfortable. Kitchen was well-appointed, tons of fluffy towels in all the bathrooms. We watched football on the projection screen and had a great time! Roads to the cabin were navigated easily and didn't need 4WD (a plus for us!) Primary is on the main floor and only 3 steps to get up to cabin. You will not regret staying in this beautiful cabin!

Let me preface this review by stating that we have been renting on VRBO for 20 years and this is my FIRST negative review. We have been very blessed with great properties, amazing owners, & homes with outstanding property management companies. Upon entering this cabin (after a long 15hr drive), we had no air conditioning & a large pile of the previous renters dirty sheets/towels. Day two provided more headaches, as woke up to a flooded kitchen floor. The kitchen sink pipe has burst and MY HUSBAND quickly got to work repairing it. Upon cleaning up, there was substantial mold under the sink, indicating a problem that has been persistent (see downstairs bathroom ceiling) and not taken care of. There is also substantial mold in the master bath shower (around base) that was reported to the owners by the housekeeping staff prior to our arriving. Again, mold is a health issue that should be taken care of immediately. On day three, we had prepared an evening meal that we had planned to grill (prized game meat from several hunts by my boys) and surprise, grill did NOT WORK. How do you not have a working grill, in the summer AND at this price point? A new grill was never provided. After speaking to property owners and adjusting our vacation plans, they sent a handyman out who fixed the downstairs bathroom door that never locked and the floor vent in one of the downstairs bedroom that was not provided air conditioning to the bedroom. Handyman confirmed the grill needed to be replaced and the mold needed to be dealt with. After returning from our trip and just not feeling right about the situation, I emailed owners asking for some compensation (they never offered a dime & were very unsympathetic to the problems with the house). They told us they depend on their housekeepers and renters to tell them what is wrong because they are managing home from out-of-state! WHAT?! We were literally asked to provided them with a list of what needed to be fixed. I've NEVER heard of such a thing! We were on VACATION and none of this should have been our problem. Anyway, after asking for some compensation, owner responded with $200, which was incredibly insulting (How much would plumbing repair cost if hired out). This was NOT acceptable and after reconsidering, they offered $335 and a letter (from their attorney) to sign, providing I didn't leave a bad review. I never received any compensation and never signed a letter. There are many places with views, so keep searching!

The Cabin in the Clouds was a perfect cabin for our extended family trip to the GSMNP and Dollywood. The kids loved the game room and corn hole boards. All the amenities we needed and the owner was very quick to address any concerns/issues. Overall a wonderful place to stay on your visit!

This is a nice property with a lot of amenities and a fantastic view. A few things could be improved-- there are some plumbing issues in the downstairs bathroom (drains in both the sink and the shower clogged) and a couple of the arcade machines did not work. Also there were fake flowers EVERYWHERE (in the towels, on the plates) and they kind of just make a mess.

This cabin is amazing! The view is unmatched. It is definitely the best view that I’ve had while staying in Gatlinburg. The downstairs is absolutely amazing and we loved the karaoke machine. The only thing that we felt like was needed was some more seating on the upstairs deck. We spent a lot of time out there, but had to pull out other chairs from inside in order to have enough seating for everyone in our group. The property was also not fully cleaned when we arrived. I think maybe they got busy and forgot about some things that were laying out. It wasn’t a big deal though! Overall, this cabin was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!
