Beach front, gated deck/pier for dogs to stay away from beach. Lots of bedrooms. Bikes. Grilled some delicious Grouper from the fish market down the streed (JMs?). We had a great time.

My wife and I went with our 4 adult children and 2 small dogs. Everyone (even the dogs) had a great time because the house was just perfect! The deck has blocked off areas so our dogs could run around and we never worried about them escaping. There's also a fenced in area on the ground level which made it very convenient to take the dogs out (especially at night). The house was very clean and it had new appliances. Great location as well in a quiet part of North Topsail, but not too far from shops or restaurants. They had boogie boards, 2 bicycles, and a gas grill that we were allowed to use. Also, whenever I had a question, the owner would get back to me right away with an answer. She was great! I would highly recommend it!

We could not have asked for a better week. This house was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was amazing and the beach was never busy right outside of the house. Everything we needed in town was only a 10 minute drive and was super easy to navigate. Our 12 and 8 year olds loved the bonus room off the garage. It stayed nice and cool in there and felt like part of the house. The deck was roomy and we had some fun corn hole tournaments with a rented game. I could go on and on. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. We truly can’t wait to come back!!

Beautiful oceanfront house in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic. Master suite is amazing. Two outside showers make it very convenient after your time at the beach. Communication with owners was fantastic. Very responsive.

We had our annual Topsail beach trip and stayed at Relax Inn this year. We enjoyed the house, location, and amenities. Comfortably slept 4 adults and 3 kids - pet friendly was a bonus for us. Kitchen was well stocked. The upstairs suite was awesome! Compared to other homes we’ve rented we felt this was most bang for our buck while still being beachfront! We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Communication with Debbie was excellent and she made sure we had everything we needed along the way.

My wife and I loved this place so much that we decidyto come back after our son was born for our first family trip to the beach. Such an amazing house, and Debbie is so attentive you could not ask for a better host. 11/10 stars!

This is a clean, comfortable home with a sizeable deck which allows unobstructed views of the shoreline, beach, and signature NC dunes. Our two families of 4 spent a ton of time on the deck and the beach, which is a few steps away from the back door. That view and access is why you get this house. Inside the home is comfortable with tasteful decor and amenities, but not spacious - two adjacent homes tower above by comparison but this place holds it's own with a unique roof line and cutesy look. We all fit fine and the A/C units were in absolute beast mode - I was adjusting the smart thermostats up in temp on many occasions, it self-adjusted down drastically at times (to 65, chilly!). Cool air sleeping is dreamy here, and the beds are all comfy. The two stinky teens were fine in the spare room off the garage, a good space for them. The two pre-teens had to share the small bedroom with a queen, would have preferred two singles or a bunk (I knew when booking). Main level master was again on the small side, but the large attached bathroom kept those adults happy, not shared. Limited space for clothes. The top-level suite is incomparably enormous. Nice stand-alone bath jacuzzi leading to a small deck, but both were mostly unused as we're a social group. Perfect for some alone time though, was a very comfortable space. Kitchen was serviceable, but no cabinet drawers was an oddity and magnified the small space by walking around for many items. The new owners provide a ton of great stuff to cook with, but with all the fine goodies in cabinets there was not much space left for our food, so most remained in tubs on the floor against the wall. The fridge froze some items and I couldn't find a temp control, while the ice dispenser often just churned with no ice coming out (arm maybe froze up) so we just grabbed ice out of the easy-lean-out bin. Again, we made it all work, and any fridge can be finicky. We don't nit-pick, just side-step and stay in the beach mode lane. The large table worked well for group meals, easy clean-up for family game time. The living area with 3 couches was a lounge haven for us, the large TV was in fine view across the room, in an odd place but followed the theme of the owners making a smaller space live big. They've done a great job. Overall we REALLY enjoyed our stay, some quirks but nothing stopped our fun. The coffee views were amazing. Don't hesitate going here to get in your much-needed beach time.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay! The house has a huge deck and is right on the beach. The beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. The entire outside area is also gated off which was great for our dog. The inside of the house is very comfortable and cozy. Debbie went above and beyond as a host. Would love to stay here again!

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. Debbie made our process so simple and easy. We loved being right on the beach and walking out to the ocean, especially with two little kiddos. The house is well stocked with everything you might need. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Relax Inn. Everything was fantastic! Great location, and being right on the beach is a dream come true. Probably our favorite beach house we've stayed in in NC/SC and we have done quite a few. Debbie was a fantastic host. We are already thinking about when we can return!

Outstanding vacation. Debbie was wonderful with her communication. The house was the perfect size for a family of 3 and Grandma. An ocean treehouse, we lived on the deck. Thank you for sharing your home with us. HELPFUL HINT, beach fishing was non productive but the SEAVIEW PIER was fruitful.

Very nice home. Enjoyed our stay.

We’ve been vacationing in the Outer Banks for years, but decided to switch it up this summer. So glad we did! The location of this home cannot be beat. With kids, you’re going in and out all day so being literally steps away makes the week considerably more relaxing for the parents! Also, lugging all the beach stuff back and forth is a breeze. The house itself met all of our needs. Beds were comfy too! Proximity to Publix kept time spent shopping to a minimum. Lastly will add that the ocean water was so warm (not sure if this is typical?). Haven’t spent so much time swimming since I was a kid (usually I’m too cold:). Would love to visit this home again. We were sad to leave.

This was a great property with beachfront access and great amenities including a garage te hat was big enough for my Ford F-150(with opener as well). The hot tub was a great way to relax after a fun dat at the beach. I would highly recommend this house!

This was our second year in a row staying here. While we like changing up our scenery, we honestly couldn't find anything that compared to the Blue Roof as far as access to the beach, the beautiful home, hot tub, awesome deck, master suite, dog friendliness, and the fact that towels and linens are included. It's just a wonderful stay and feels like home. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing stay .

Perfect setting, perfect weather, perfect rental. We have been coming to Topsail and staying at Blue Roof for over 10 years. It definitely feels like our home away from home. I can’t say enough about It. It is always clean and well maintained. The spacious deck (with hot tub) and benches overlooking the beach are my favorite features. Morning sunrises, shrimp boats and dolphins are easily seen from the deck. It truly is my perfect place to vacation.

This was our 2nd time staying here, and it was outstanding. The kitchen was well equipped, furniture and bedding was very comfortable, and the house overall was clean. We had a small issue with the sewer pump outside the house, and the homeowner acted immediately to rectify the problem. We will be back!

This is a great house right on a very quiet beach. Access to the beach via the deck is very nice. Plenty of seating with the adirondack chairs. Nice to have the use of the garage as well. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed.

We just returned from a weeklong stay at Blue Roof and already dreaming of going back! We chose the location prior to the pandemic, wanting a dog-friendly spot to take our new puppy. The location did not disappoint: lots of dogs on the beach, and an amazing deck that was long and gated (very important!) for our dog to roam. The location of the house itself was super convenient for walks on the beach or a quick potty break. That being said, our choice ended up being perfect during a pandemic. We stayed at the house all week, only leaving to pick up groceries and takeout (which were conveniently located). The house was great -- we especially liked the spacious master suite, big enough for our large dog crate and an air mattress for our young boys. The rest of the family had plenty of room downstairs. We LOVED the hot tub on the deck and used it more than I expected. The owners were responsive and helpful leading up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

The Blue Roof was fantastic! Beautiful home, wonderful beach access, all necessary kitchen items, huge deck! Highly recommend! We hope to come back. Appropriately priced for sure!

The location is phenomenal. The porch with all the gates is dog friendly. The master suite with the Jacuzzi bathtub And private deck was a nice little retreat. The house had everything!!

This was my way of getting out of the house after 3 months of quarantine. The location is fantastic, deck is GORGEOUS. Upstairs master is roomy and the jetted tub with the view is an added bonus! I read the previous reviews about the beds and agree that they are small and uncomfortable. Since we had storms for 4 days (not normal) it was unfortunate that we had to stay indoors quite a bit. This leads me to my other recommendations: upgrade your TVs, please. There is NO HD in the house, the main floor master has no TV and the ones that are there are so small you can barely see them. The furniture in the living room was somewhat stained and out dated. I covered everything with sheets due to Covid. With all of that.....it is a wonderful house, terrific decks and views and as advertised. The beach in front of the house is not crowded since it is away from the public parking. (I would still go out early and stake your claim so that a huge family or group of surfers don’t obstruct your unparalleled view.) Very appropriate for the price. Thank you, George!

Fantastic two weeks! Can't wait to return.

The rental was excellent. The owners were more than wonderful to work with as they responded back very quickly about anything I asked. The location is wonderful—- not too busy, but not desolate. The rental was nice, however our 7 people were pushing the capacity. Could definitely use a few rugs throughout the home to catch some of the sand that finds its way in. Mother Nature decided that cloudy, rainy, windy, and cold days were needed. So the 2 days that were excellent weather, we cherished! Outside of that, wonderful place. Would come back again in a minute!

The beds were not comfortable.. They were not queen size, and it would have been great had the bedrooms had ceiling fans. There is no closet space in any of the bedrooms. The location is fabulous and the house itself is very clean and well taken care of. It has a very nice hot tub and the deck was just really super. We had a great time and would love to go back.
