There was nothing stated on the website when we booked that the building would be under construction during our stay. The workers started on the roof at approximately 7:30am both Saturday and Sunday morning of our stay. They were playing music extremely loud and it forced us to leave the condo during the day since it was so disruptive. While trying to enter the building, we had to walk through mud since the roofers had a ladder located directly in the sidewalk . They had the road parking lot blocked off multiple times with roofing debris on the ground. The pool area was out of clean towels and dirty towels covered the chairs and tables. There was mildew on the ceiling tiles and the men’s shower was out of order. The condo itself was clean. We were unable to use the balcony which we hadn’t been notified of prior to booking. There was trim missing from the floorboards. The view was great but I definitely think the construction should have been communicated to us prior to booking this non-refundable room. Extremely disappointed with the experience we had.

It was awesome. It’s always a great time when you can get away to Charlevoix for the weekend. The weather was perfect for sking at Nubs Nob. The only issue we had were the out of control young kids next door that were running around inside their rental screaming and hitting the walls at 11:45 pm......other than that the condo was very nice. It could just use more dishes.

We had a great trip the location of unit was perfect to downtown. Upon arrival front staff start off friendly. When getting into unit we realized quickly it was not the same unit we had selected. We decided it was not a huge deal but then found out that the freezer wouldn’t open. Front staff was then not wanting to help. They said they knows it was broke but didn’t get to fixing it. They offered to change our unit which we agreed to so then loaded things back together to then find out they said we can’t actually move you we don’t have another unit clean. (The complex was not close to full). It was still a good trip but for the money needs to have some maintenance done on several things in and out of the unit.

This is a great location in Charlevoix that is close to town and allows for an easy walk to shopping and dining. This unit has the best view of the lake and the bridge. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. There is no oven available which was not a problem for us as we had no plans for cooking on our vacation. There is a stove and microwave for re-heating things if needed. This is truly a great place to stay. We will absolutely choose it again for any future trips to Charlevoix.

The property we reserved and paid for had non-working air conditioning. It was very stuffy. We told the front desk and they gave us the opportunity to move two doors down to a unit with working air conditioning. That was good. However the new unit’s living space was smaller. The dining table was a high one with high chairs. The two bar chairs were high. The sofa and one easy chair sat VERY low. We are seniors with some mobility issues so other than the two rockers on the balcony, there was not a comfortable place to sit. In the second unit the main level bed was full of grit, the bathroom sink did not drain well and the screen door was broken and torn. To the front desk’s credit, they were polite and helpful. The second unit was offered immediately and the screen, drain and sheets corrected quickly the next morning. We were credited a generous, partial refund. We did have a knock on the door from the management the next day wondering why we weee there. They were going to rent out the unit but someone said it wasn’t empty. We explained. The front desk people had not communicated the switch. However we love the facility and will try again next year, just not this unit. We needed to be much younger. 😊 m

The unit was very clean and comfortable. The views are amazing and the location is walkable to the marina and downtown. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for a great vacation!

Although the condo was clean there were multiple things in need of attention. The air conditioning was not working for the first day and front desk staff were not able to assist. Luckily one of our family members were able to find and check breaker the next day which solved the problem. In an attempt to open windows to ventilate condo the screen door fell off the track again requiring a family member to come over and rehang it. A towel bar in the first floor bathroom kept falling off the wall and several lamps/lampshades came apart every time they were turned on. These issues were stressful for the Bride and her bridesmaid the night prior to the wedding.

We absolutely loved our stay at Edgewater Inn. The room was better than we could have imagined. Stunning views of the lake and the bridge, located in the perfect area. The room was beautifully decorated and with both updated kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and we particularly enjoyed how much light the skylights in the master bedroom and bathroom provided. Highly recommend room 354. We would not hesitate to stay here again!!

The unit we rented was very nice with a great view, only issue with it was the fireplace did not work. Would have added that extra romantic feel. Asked to have it looked at but had left the "do not disturb" sign on the door.There is a letter that I would have liked to have seen before making a deposit that basically makes you responsible for everything and if you disobey any of the rules, like: getting makeup on a towel or leave a towel somewhere you will be charged: washcloth, $10 hand towel $15 towel each! Smoking $275, Pet on premise $275.Have stayed in places all over the world and have never been charged for losing or getting a towel dirty!It is located next to the draw bridge so you do get to hear the cars going over it (not a loud noise).Called several times to ask a question or two before booking, but never received a return call until after a deposit was made?Over all it is a nice unit in a good location, close to restaurants and shops.Would like to thank Rose for going above and beyond to return my keys I left behind in the room!

The room was fantastic, the view was absolutely stunning. The furniture, really needs an upgrade. Tabletops are scuffed and dinged up. The couch is a bit well worn. WiFi in the room was good if you stood by the door, but nonexistent elsewhere. But the room itself and the view, OMG that view!, make up for the faults.

When checking air temp realized it was the door open and no screen on.It has the refrigerator drawers. Set the one for freezer and never got cold. The frig only one worked great.Went to get a spoon out of drawer and 1st thing I saw was a spatula with egg on it. Took picture of it.But I think the worst thing was the new schedule where they don’t have anyone on site. Counter person only works from 9am-6pm. No cleaning crew. It was set up for 2 people for towels not 4. So no way to get any. I see why they said it would be an additional charge if we wanted to come earlier then check in at 4pm. You might ask for something. If you wanted to site see you would miss the time for counter person working. When told sorry to he that on everything

Great location, nice balcony!
The furniture was a bit dated and some not in great shape. It was very warm and we could not locate any air conditioning, but there were ceiling fans. I might have missed either the location of air conditioning or missed that there was none in the description. A screen on the balcony door may have helped cool it down, but there wasn’t one. It was a great location and you could walk to everything and watch the boats from the balcony which was a lot of fun.

The fireplace did not not work and there was minimal kitchen utensils for use. There was food and crumbs under the couch. There are two rugs in the main living area that are rumbled and cause a major tripping hazard.
