A super half term stay with our dog and the kids in Pheasant Cottage. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed, although a high chair would have been handy for our almost-2-year-old. The location is great as a base for exploring the island and the farm is so nice and quiet. We were treated to a tour of the farm and the animals, as well as Kathy’s wool and loom (I’m a keen knitter/crocheter so bought some yarn). They helped us to get a cheaper ferry ticket to and from the island and were always quick to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend and be happy to visit again!

Lovely setting just outside village (short walk to shop and pubs and tea rooms etc) lots of lovely animals about , great facilities

Tell before hand to switch on the fridge. Took ages for it to cool up.
Hard to find once get there but once you find you will love it.

Lovely cottage, perfect base for exploring the island. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, quiet and beautiful scenery.
The only issue we had was the DVD player had a disc stuck in it, so we couldn't use it; however, that didn't cause us a major problem! Nothing else to dislike.
