This property was perfect for our stay. Beautiful family room that overlooks the beach. Your own short path to the beach. The under the house Hot tub was perfect for watching the final day of The Masters. We had a memorable stay with my mother visiting from Sweden.

Great Thanksgiving Trip Super Views Clean Clean Home

My sisters and I had a wonderful stay at this beachfront house. The house was extremely clean and comfortable with an amazing view, we were treated to beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The weather was perfect and we especially enjoyed all the games downstairs! Thank you Jenny

First time visiting SGI. The house was beautiful, great location with the beach right outside your door. Well stocked with all the amenities we needed, plenty of towels, washcloths. We enjoyed our short walk to the beach, (not crowded and no issues with the house being located next to public beach access), sitting on the deck in the evenings. The hot tub, games downstairs are an added bonus. Jenny the property manager is great. We plan to make SGI our destination for future beach vacations and hope to stay here again.

Let me begin with a shout out to Jenny! She is absolutely amazing and deserves a huge raise. We had an issue with the downstairs television. She was determined to get it working for football Saturday! Success thanks to her and Matt. Thank you for your genuine concern. She even brought me her own personal lobster pot for our shrimp boil. The home was super clean. This means a lot to me! The stars were spectacular! Being right on the beach was perfect for my grandchildren. We would recommend this home for the perfect family vacation. We will definitely return to SGI! Thank you Jenny!

My husband and I have stayed in other houses on St.George Island in years passed, this was by far our favorite. The house was beautiful and clean. All the appliances were above par and it great working order. Everything was in the house, that was needed. This was with starting toiletries, all the way to beach accessories. The property manager is fantastic, and made us feel very welcomed. I hope we get to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay on the property. Pros: The wall of windows facing the beach in the living room is what you see when you first walk in. The huge deck on the back is amazing to watch the dolphins everyday. The 180 degree views of the ocean from the deck are breath taking. There are no planes pulling banners, no jest skis, no boats with parasailers, so it is just the sound of the waves and sun. We caught hermit crabs on the sand bar and buggy boarded the waves. The house had all the toys we needed for a good time. Love the beach chairs and jacuzzi. The entire island closes at 10pm so the nights time is very quiet for sleeping. Because of the nesting turtles the beach has no lights allowed so the stars and the moon on the ocean is all you see at night. We went to dinner at the Blue Parrott restaurant at 5:30pm and walked right in and got seated at a beach side table. There was never any traffic on the island and we could get to the shops in less than 5 minutes from the house. This experience was so relaxing compared to the normal PC or Orange Beach craziness. Weber's donuts and Abby's ice cream shop are a must experience. Cons: The public beach access right next to the house lead to alot of cars and gold carts parked outside the driveway during the day. The deck needs to be replaced was alittle scary with bare feet due to the old wood. Over all: I would highly recommend this house if you want to just relax and enjoy time at the beach with kids and fur babies.

Our family has come to St. George Island every year for the last 18 years over Memorial Day week. This house is by far our favorite to date. The view was spectacular and the house was clean with lots of amenities. Jenny, the property manager was excellent!

A delightful place to stay. Tons of windows provide a panoramic beach view, thoughtful extras like a hot tub, Foosball, and ping pong downstairs provide rainy day fun, and the cleanliness was admirable. Wonderful property manager, too!

Jenny, the property manager, was awesome. The owner couldn't have a better property manager. She has a way of making a guests feel like family.

My wife and I just returned from a spring break trip with our two younger sons and this property is 5 Star. The location cannot get any better and allowed for simple beach access. The property has everything you need and the beaches were far from crowded. Last, the property manager, was SUPER responsive throughout all stages- booking, prearrival, arrival and departure. If there is an issue, she's a short drive away. Highly recommend.

The view from this home is spectacular! The home itself is very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with kitchen supplies and beach chairs/umbrella. The property manager is the best I’ve encountered. She is personable, responsive, and truly invested in making guests have a fantastic vacation. Also, our dog Linus had a blast! The beach and town are very dog friendly. Highly recommend this property!

The property was beautiful with a wonderful view. Jenny, the property manager, was an excellent help every step of the way. Everything was just as you’d wish it would be for a family vacation, and I wouldn’t change a thing - I didn’t even want to leave. Just excellent all the way around.

This was our families first stay on St. George island. The island is very laid back and relaxing. This home was steps from the beach with a private path. The house is older and while it isn’t new and decorated high end or modern, it has had updating to a new kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. The house was furnished with decent furniture. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had a good amount of cooking supplies. The deck has nice new patio furniture, dining table and gas grill. The home offered a decent amount of space for our family of 6. The views from inside the home to the beach are lovely! The home was very clean 👍🏼 The property manager was very easy to get in contact with and very hospitable. While our family has stayed in “fancier” rental homes, this home was totally worth the stay based on location to beach. We would defiantly stay again and I feel like the owner will continue to remodel and update.

Sandalwood was an excellent beach house for our family. Our hostess Jenny Turner was wonderful and did a great job getting the home in tip-top shape for us. The beach was uncrowded through the week and there were plenty of beach chairs for everyone to enjoy.

Wonderful family vacation in a perfect location on the beach. If you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable, laid back rental this is the one for you. Could use some updating in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and decking but checks all the necessary boxes. Best property manager hands down, went out of her way to make our stay perfect. Great communication throughout our stay, looking forward to next year already.

This was our first trip to St. George Island and we loved it. The property was just as described. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

The owner continues to make lots of upgrades to this house. (A new hot tub was being installed as we were leaving!) New large windows and doors bring the beach inside. Everything was clean, comfortable, and convenient! The property manager, Jenny, is super friendly and responsive. This place was perfect for our party of four adults and two grandkids. We are already planning our return next year.

Nice property

This was probably the cleanest most up to date house we have stayed at on the island. The property manager was great. There was a bag of ice ready for us in the freezer and everything we needed was provided in the kitchen. The only downside to the house is that is right next to a public beach access. It was not a big problem for us but the beach did tend to get a little crowded.

This was the perfect property! It’s RIGHT on the beach. Amazing views during the day and great for stargazing at night. Jenny was nothing but wonderful and attentive during the entire process. Would love to stay again

Don't let the location to the public boardwalk scare you. Beach was not crowded at all. House was perfect for us. We did bring 2 air mattress so all 4 kids could sleep in the same room.

The location couldn’t have been better. Jenny is great. Exceeded all our expectations.

This was the perfect property for our entire family. Plenty of space inside and out. The recent updates make this such a welcoming home. Lots of upgrades and extra items you don’t need to bring from home. Can’t get any closer to the beach. Easy walk to shops and the lighthouse. Property manager is a joy to work with and makes sure everything is as it should be. Look forward to staying here again!
