It was our second time staying here, and we all had a relaxing break! We hope to return! The place is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen is very well stocked, beds are very comfortable. We all enjoyed the pool! Our favorite part is the walking trail which is accessed directly from the back yard; perfect for a morning or evening walk! Beautiful neighborhood too!

Our stay at the Desert Princess was amazing. This was our 3rd time here and it has become like home. To start, this home is clean, modern, and very inviting. The bedrooms have comfy mattresses and pillows, the bathrooms have soft water and great shower pressure, and the kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen ware. I stopped by Costco on the way and I had everything I needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, upon checking in at the front gate, I was informed that the community has a restaurant on the premise. For those that do not want to venture out of the community, it’s a great option to have. Moreover, the outdoor pool is well kept and clean. The view at the pool is by far our favorite since it overlooks the walking trails and beautiful desert mountains. We had some old airplanes fly by from the local airport and the kids were excited to see them. Overall, this home is perfect for any family that wants to take a short weekend getaway or have a longer stay. We give this Desert Princess a perfect review and we can’t wait to come back to visit.

The house and all it's amenities are great, and you won't find a more communicative and helpful host than Sarah. The bathrooms were beautiful and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated all the thought put into equipping the kitchen, too! There were some negatives: We had a hard time with our toddler in this house, as it does not have a high chair and there are many glass surfaces to smear and walk into so I don't think I'd recommend for families with kids under 2 or 3. Also, the area where the house is is vulnerable to high winds and gets very dusty very fast. There were 2 days of our trip where we could not use the pool because the air was not breathable and being outside was uncomfortable, but other areas further from the wash out were much calmer. Kind of a bummer but maybe in other seasons not so bad! Overall this house is lovely and as advertised, but the area is not the best in terms of weather/sandstorms and it's not great for kids < 2.

The home is super luxe! Beautifully appointed home with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Our kids enjoyed running outside on the grass area. If you like to cook, the kitchen is fully stocked. We spent most of our time outside by the sparkling pool/hot tub and enjoyed the stunning views of the mountains. It was so quiet and peaceful. The property manager Sarah was very responsive, professional and addressed our needs promptly! We plan to be back to enjoy this gorgeous home and property.

This place is one of the greatest VRBO’s we’ve done. Everything was in terrific shape. The house itself was spotless and modern with all the amenities you need. The view from the hot tub and pool was outstanding. Sarah was always there to help if we needed anything.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. It was well stocked with basic supplies, which we greatly appreciated. The beds were super comfy, and the heated pool & spa were lovely. We had a fun time playing a family game of pickleball at the courts too! Thank you for a wonderful stay Sarah!

From the moment we stepped in the door we knew it was going to be a 5 star rental. We’ve rented many homes and we knew this was special! It was a lovely and very functional home. We were provided all the amenities and more. The special touches and the wonderful communication made us feel very welcome. We would 100% recommend this home. Our family of three stayed here for 2 weeks (Feb/March 2024). You could comfortably fit 6 people, open concept, high ceilings, very spacious. This house is amazing, it includes all amenities. The extra little touches were appreciated. Everything was perfect from booking, check-in, host responsiveness. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, everyone was welcoming and friendly. We almost didn’t want to leave the resort. Perfect for a staycation. Sarah is an amazing host, we are already planning our next visit.

What a perfect stay! The property was amazing and exactly what we expected. Check in process was easy, so great being in a gated community, house was clean, comfortable and with all of the amenities! We stayed in the winter, and were really glad we paid to have the hot tub for our stay - we went in a few times a day taking in the gorgeous views! The location is also fantastic - easy to get downtown and so many really wonderful recommendations were provided to us when we arrived. Thanks for everything and wouldn't 100% stay again if coming in for another long weekend!

Had a wonderful stay for our first time in Palm Springs. This property is just as described. Kitchen is well stocked to cook in. Love the layout as we did have my MIL with us. I walked the waking path everyday and we had a pair of roadrunners come one day. Highly recommend this property and we are talking about coming back next winter.

We really enjoyed spending 4 nights at this property. The house was bright and cheerful and perfect for a family of four with two boys in their twenties. The kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities. The swimming pull and the spa were perfect to chill after a day's hike at the nearly Joshua Tree National Park. Overall, I would recommend this place highly!

This was just the perfect house for a family getaway. Everything was super super clean and organized when we arrived. The house is beautiful, well-appointed, and has everything you could possibly need, from towels to kitchen items, including TVs in every bedroom.
We relaxed by the pool, took our doggy for little walks on the nearby path, played pickleball and golf. The views are stunning. Downtown Palm Springs is a short drive to do some shopping; there are numerous restaurants down the main street.
The owners even provide a welcome basket full of goodies and a personal note -- a special touch.
A booklet contains clear instructions for how to work everything and even includes restaurant recommendations. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you for hosting us!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay in the Desert Princess Community. We spent most of the time in the backyard pool and jacuzzi, but we did many activities in the community and in the local area. The backyard pool was amazing, especially because it was heated and fairly large. The jacuzzi was also heated and had powerful jets to massage our backs. In addition, the view from the house was amazing! We were able to see the mountains and enjoy the greenbelt between the houses from the pool. The weather was great during our stay, so we were able to do some activities at the community center including walking on trails and spending time at the community center. The community has three golf courses along with a fitness center, racquetball, basketball, Bocce ball, pickleball, and tennis courts. Furthermore, there are many things to do outside of their community. We had choices to go to the Palm Springs Arial Tramway, many hiking places at a nearby Native American Reservation and many other things. Finally, the house itself was large and very clean. There was a TV in every bedroom, including the living room, so were able to watch some TV after wearing ourselves out in the pool. All in all, we had an amazing stay and can’t wait to visit again. We highly recommend this house for some rest and relaxation.

We had a great time staying at this rental property. The communication with the host was fantastic. The day before we arrived there was a wind storm which sent a lot of sand/dirt into the pool. We contacted the host and it was cleaned within an hour. Great time. Great place.

You can believe all of the glowing reviews. They are earned and well deserved. Sarah is a most attentive and responsive host. The property is well kept and well appointed. The layout is very functional. Everything is in great shape and everything we needed was there. The Mountain View’s are breathtakingly unrivaled. We enjoyed the pool every day. We gave the walking paths much use too. The people in the complex are friendly. It’s a quiet inviting place. We always felt safe and welcomed. Exceeded Expectations
Depending on what you are looking for, this place was great. Nice a quiet, which suited our needs. The place was larger than I expected it to be. The kitchen was well suited for cooking instead of going out and the pool and bbq out back were wonderful and worked well. The community was nice and quiet as well. No barking dogs or loud neighbors and I actually like that the people who live there full time keep things in line. The only downside I can say is that getting through the guard gate can sometimes take a bit, if there are new people checking in and there is a back log of people. My wife, friends and I loved the place and I personally want to purchase a place that is similar in size and layout. The host was also quite accommodating leading up to the stay and allowed us to enjoy a worry free mini-vacation over the 4th, away from the big city fireworks.

Lovely relaxing week!
This house was so perfect for our family. We were looking for a quick getaway from LA. The Desert Princess Resort was beautiful and quiet. My husband played tennis everyday with someone he met at the courts. We used the private pool and jacuzzi daily and took long walks with our dogs on the many pretty paths. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked meals every night. The beds were super comfortable too. All in all a great place to stay and we will definitely come again.

Incredible Property
This was my first VRBO experience and I couldn't have been happier. This home is better than advertised! Plenty of space for the family, very clean, and all the amenities to enjoy the home. The pool, hot tub, and yard area were excellent. Amazing view of the San Jacinto Mountains and a very quiet neighborhood. Centrally located for trips into Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, and Joshua Tree National Park. Perfect for a relaxing escape.
