Great house and super location on Pensacola Bay. Private sandy beach was a huge plus so we didn't have to drive to a public beach. Had a great time riding scooters around town, attending a street festival, shopping at Joe Patti's, visiting the Naval Air Museum, historic lighthouse, and a lot of other things. Pensacola is one of my favorite cities and I plan on returning in the future.

We love it!! It’s so beautiful quiet and relaxing. Close to downtown. Love watching the boats and sometimes we even get to see Blue Angels fly.

The backyard of this property is amazing.. private beach, water toys, & plenty of beach chairs. Great location - close to airport and nice restaurants and kids playground is only 2 blocks away!

Great house with a beautiful private beach. It was rainy when we were there so a comfortable couch for movies and an indoor dining table would have been nice.

This place is perfect for relaxing and recharging. The view is amazing and the beach is literally just steps from the back porch. The house is older but has all you need. It reminded all the adults of going to your grandparents house, it’s not fancy but feels very welcoming. The neighbors are kind and welcoming and there is a park just down the street for younger kids to play if needed. Definitely looking forward to coming back again

We took our mother vacation to see the beach. She is 73 and probably won't be able to make that trip again. She loved it and said was the best vacation she had ever had. Just can't say enough about the whole experience. Highly recommend.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This property is so unbelievably perfect! The private beach is truly private - there were days when we did not see anyone other than our family. We're not sure we can ever stay on a public beach again! And for those of you women who are typically warm, this house A/C is phenomenal even at night. I know that sounds silly but it's such a huge perk! The kitchen is big enough for at least 5 adults and an infant, the beds are all comfortable. We took the bikes out in the neighborhood, and our family tried kayaking for the first time! We made so many memories here! Donna is available with just a text, and she gave us great recommendations for restaurants and carry out. Thanks Donna and Joe for a beautiful experience!

WOW!! I cannot say enough good about this property and host. Everything was as pictured and described. Donna was excellent and always quick to answer questions and take care of all of our needs. The house had everything that you could want for a vacation and more. The beach was right out the back door. Couldn't ask for a better location and vacation. If you're coming to Pensacola this is the place to book!!

Stayed 3 nights and plan to go again!! Great house fantastic location. It is close to downtown Pensacola and just two bridges away from a public beach. Although we definitely preferred the private beach at the house. The house was clean very spacious and the beds were comfy. Unique atmosphere everywhere. The back porch was lovely and great to enjoy view of ocean out of the sun. We even got to see Blue Angels practice. Highly recommend!!

Donna was amazing and super responsive and sweet. We held a small wedding in the backyard are it was absolutely the most perfect venue. Beautiful backyard and beach area.

This is a beautiful place to stay! The private beach was lovely and there were lots of amenities throughout the property. We lost power at one point due to a storm, but the owner was quick to respond and had us back up and running in no time. Great hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Overall amazing place to stay. The back yard is incredibly beautiful and has an amazing view! We had a small wedding ceremony here and it was such a beautiful place to have it. The hosts were super nice and easy to talk to. Plenty of room in the house and cute little attached cottage. Only complaints are that the bathroom in the little cottage is very small and if you are over 6 ft tall you will have to squat to use the shower (which is objectively funny), and that the main shower in the house needs some maintenance. Other than that, a great place to stay right on your own little private spot on the water.

My husband and were just married on New Years Eve and wanted a nice quiet place to stay on the beach ⛱ we found it here at Sanders Beach! We absolutely loved it!!! Watching the sunrise every morning and listening to the ocean waves on our own private beach was just what we needed ❤ The home was clean and comfy. The owner was very attentive to our needs which wasn't very much since they offered everything we wanted. Loved this place and definitely will be back!!! ❤

This house was just as pictured. Amazing view of the bay! Bonfire on the beach was awesome! Will be coming back again next year!

My husband leased this property for my birthday because of the bayfront location. We love to fish and sit by the water til sunset. Nice, quiet neighborhood and neighbors. interior of the home is more like a museum than an actual live-in dwelling. Lots of old fixtures and charm, but it won't give you that comfortable, warm fuzzy, home-away-from-home feeling if that's what you're seeking. The retro bathroom tile and fixtures brought back sweet memories of my great grandmother's home. The kitchen appliances are really retro and adorable! We never used them because we were afraid we'd damage them :) We TRULY enjoyed the OUTSIDE of the home MORESO than the inside. This home should be given some kind of historic landmark honor because it just has that kinda feel. Mrs. Donna was gracious enough to share the home's rich history with us. The rooms were nice but the bed was not comfortable. My husband has serious allergies and he was stuffed up the whole time because the home had a closed up scent and it needed a good thorough dusting. I'm a stickler for ceiling fans. I won't even turn one on until after I've inspected it. All of the celing fans were dusty. We could not open the blinds or windows because they were stuck and appeared to not have been dusted or cleaned. The REAL selling point of this property is the outdoor area. The private bayfront is ALL THAT! For the price though, the interior should be better kept and more comfortable for guests with children/families. Thanks to our hosts for their hospitality and kindness.

I absolutely adore this vacation property! 1- The location was exactly as shown online. As I sat in the shade under a palm tree (adult beverage in hand) on the beach and watched the sun set over the bay, I couldn't help but feel like I was waiting for Robin Leach (host of Lyfestyles of the Rich and Famous).to come and interview me! 2- I'm both a history nerd and fan of the show Golden Girls. I imagine if they had a house on the beach the interior would feel similarly. (Except for the living room, which reminded me of a place senior gentlemen might puff on cigars and tell tails from distant places.) *no smoking 3- The hosts were so accessible and genuinely friendly. They told me about a lively event (Gallery Night) downtown to attend and gave me helpful tips. I honestly felt like it was Aunt Donna and Uncle Joe.... and I've never even met then face-to-face! The neighbors welcomed me to the neighborhood; there were happy dogs and happy kids frolicking about. 4- As an introvert, having a private beach and warm neighbors meant a lot. It was painstakingly obvious that the Meeks' went to a lot of effort to make sure every amenity was provided. 5- If you want a futuristic-feeling cookie cutter house with no character or soul to it, go elsewhere. If you want to feel like Magnum PI in Hawaii with a guest house and palm trees, this is the character rich place for you! I can't wait to show more people this gem. A+++

Such a wonderful experience with our hostess! They were so helpful with all our questions as we prepared for our trip. The house and private beach were fabulous. The mornings and evenings by the water were so relaxing! The kids loved playing in the water. We had an event at the convention center and the location could not have been more perfect. We even got to see the Blue Angels practice! Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you!!

Just a short drive to Joe Patti's seafood market, other groceries, downtown, restaurants -- and yet we were able to put our toes in the sand, utilize the provided kayaks, and sit on the wonderful porch and watch the waves for hours on end. Kitchen was well stocked, interiors were dated and eclectic but that was just fine with us. We loved it. Many thanks to our hosts.

This place is wonderful! Having the beach right out the back door was prefect! There was no hauling stuff back and forth. And since your in the bay the waves are not near as bad as the ocean side. Prefect for younger kids. When you got tired of the beach there is a nice playground a few minutes walk away. Where you ran into locals who are the nicest people. We left feeling like it was our neighborhood and we been living there for years. The house was built in the 1940’s. And still has that charm. It was comfortable and clean. We will be back!

We absolutely loved this property! Yes the house is dated, however, it is a charming home that we enjoined staying at. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed to make our meals. The private beach was amazing and it was great to have it to ourselves without having to worry about other people. The house had floats and kayaks available for our use and we enjoined using them. The host was responsive to our questions and was overall a great host! We will definitely be back in the future!

The property was perfect! Literally walk out the back door and walk right into the bay. Local restaurants and breweries are great and short drive to the beach. The best of both worlds! Will definitely stay here again the next time we travel to Pensacola.

Outside undercover porch fantastic. Lawn, walkway, beach area worth a million with sunrise sunsets awesome. Adirondack chairs and firepit very classy. Inside very historic but dated as advertised. Could be a little cleaner. Thanks Had a great time
